I shouldn't be reviewing this place. 1. Everyone in town…read moreknows they're awesome and there's a waiting list to get in, and 2. They rejected my dog! My perfect, sweet dog! Yes, my dog may have *slight* issues with biting your face off if you sniff her butt. This is true. But she's still adorable! Seriously: I don't blame them for not taking my new rescue pup. They have to keep their existing canine clients safe and happy. If (when!) I become a client, I would want them to be very picky about who else they accept. I'm reviewing them anyway b/c they were so good to us. They took a lot of time to interview me (human) and Goldie (puppers). I was so impressed with the setup. Big, bright, clean, welcoming. Lots of doors to keep various dogs and packs separate and safe. Walkie-talkies used to communicate (between humans, not dogs) (at least I didn't see any dogs using them) so there's never a chance of human error resulting in some dogs meeting who shouldn't meet. The owners and staff are all true dog lovers and dog experts. They were so sweet to Goldie! She's still afraid of big dogs who approach her, having recently been rescued from a very tough situation. Kari and Peg didn't have to spend so much time with me, but they did. They sympathized with Goldie's situation and said we could try again in 3 months, after Goldie has had more time to decompress. They gave me good tips for training and recommendations for other ways to socialize her. They even took the time to write a personal email to a group dogwalking company, explaining Goldie's issues and connecting us. I see why everyone raves about Dog Tired! Hopefully one day I'll be a client. My little snapping turtle and I are working on our manners with the sole goal of one day being accepted. :)

When we returned from our trips, our cats were happy and healthy, their food and litter areas were in fine shape, and their dishes were all taken care of. Our security system indicated that Tina spent nearly an hour at our place each time. And Tina sent photos almost daily of her playtime with them. Really great for our peace of mind. We are very particular when it comes to out cats and wouldn't hesitate about having Tina's Pet Nannies care for them again. Highly recommended!

We were referred to this husband and wife team of vets because they do FCI (fresh chilled…read moreinseminations). They came highly recommended by a fellow breeder. No one does inseminations in Anchorage. You choose here or Palmer. So far we're in the stage of every other day checking our female Bedlington Terrier's progesterone numbers. When it hits a certain number we test for a LH Surge. That's when we get an idea of when to inseminate as eggs should be dropping soon after. So ... not quite there yet. Our stud is in Wisconsin. He'll be collected and then shipped overnight to our Vet. Will update on progress ... stay tuned.

I would dock a star for the lack of call backs from the receptionists over the years, but the care counterbalances that! From his annual senior care, drive up shots, emergency situations, and the very end, such fantastic care. Joe is going to tell you like it is and not sugar coat anything... if you're not doing what's best for your pet, he will let you know! It's not personal, he's a fantastic veterinarian!

As my family lives in the south, if I have to leave for a family emergency, the visit may be several weeks. Desiree always responds with, "Gotcha covered." In the years that I have used Petlover Petsitting, I have never had any concerns about leaving an animal, even one that is on medication or requires special care. If I need more food or an animal needs a trip to the vet, it is done. If there is a problem, I get a phone call. If she has a worry about an animal or there is a question, she calls. I have special knowledge in some areas and Desiree has always used me as a resource. I am sure she uses others, too. Desiree also takes care of me. I have had to leave at very early hours or suddenly. I get distracted and sometimes leave things in the middle of what I am doing. I have returned to find dishes washed, food put away, appliances turned off, etc. Even if I don't remember for days that I forgot something, Desiree has already taken care of it. She brings in the paper and the mail. She leaves lights on for my late arrival home so I won't be in the dark. She lets me know if they plowed the drive or not. She has repaired items I left broken! If I could just get her to have dinner waiting, it would be perfect! As for re-homing dogs, Desiree has done this for years. She posts pictures of animals who need a new home. I have been to her place and know she takes care of the animals. And, she is always looking for a home for someone. I do not hesitate to recommend Desiree to others.
