At the inspection, I could tell from the nimble way Mr. Kegley climbed the ladder to my roof that he was a seasoned roofer. They were on time, reasonably priced, tidy, and did a great job on my roof. Fast forward 15 years. I discovered a leak in my living room ceiling and traced the leak to a seam between the main roof and the porch roof. I called up Antietam and asked for help. They called the next day and had someone swing by to check on it, who fixed the couple of nail pop-ups that caused the leak. No charge. I was totally, flabbergastedly delighted at this level of excellence. Antietam Roofing, LLC far exceeded my expectations on workmanship, customer service and trustworthiness. Initially, he was the most difficult person to reach. Within a couple of weeks of a few phone calls, he emailed a quote and I had agreed to the proposed job. From there, there was zero communication of when the job would begin. Roofing shingles appeared on my roof and roofing supplies on my front yard and sat for nearly two weeks before his crew showed up at the crack of dawn to start the job. A few weeks later, I noticed a small leak in bathroom ceiling that I felt should be looked at by a roofing professional; also concerned about any residual issues from roof replacement. So, I again attempted to reach out to make arrangements to have it looked it. And as before, I was blown off with emailed responses such as "will send someone over" or "will check tomorrow" and never heard from him. I even reminded him that I work and don't exactly hang on my couch all day. So, a time frame would've been helpful, still to no response. In short, highly disorganized and terrible customer service. Doesn't seem to have very much pride in ensuring a job well done or his clients are satisfied. I have since resorted to reaching out to other area contractors for assistance.

When installing our roof, we had it in the contract to install new drip edges. When asked about it, one of the crew stated they were told by the office not to install it. There is a language barrier since the majority of the crew is spanish speaking which makes communication difficult. We called Colby and he stated they would tear the old off drip edge and replace with new. When they tore off the drip edge, it meant tearing back the new shingles and in the process tore off some of the ice shield. This could have all been avoided if it would've been done properly in the first place. They have been called out a third time to replace shingles that they tore when replacing the ice shield and shingles that were popped up near the flashing. Colby stated he would do whatever it took to rectify the situation and he did; however, when he came to the house he was on his phone and did not speak to us. They were not careful when tearing off the old roof and damaged some of our landscaping and scratched the front storm door. If someone hired this company, I would suggest you stay on top of what they are doing.
