Serenitea has a very calming and relaxing vibe to it, making it the perfect place for a study date (or just a regular date). They have a wide variety of drinks to offer. They sell both milk tea and fruit tea. My personal favorite is Serenitea's Milo Dino, which is a chocolate drink with powdered undissolved Milo added to it. Koomi sold yogurt. Count me in. I'm a sucker for yogurt. Even more a sucker for yogurt with fruit mixed in. They had other things too, like dates and pistachio and oat (even the oh so popular activated charcoal) but I went with strawberry and watermelon. What can I say? I have my usuals. Once your order is placed, you're given a choice between Aussie blend yogurt (which is more tart) and Filipino blend (which is - go figure - more sweet). I say go with the tart. This entire concoction is then sweetened with natural fruit honey. What you get is a nice yogurt smoothie which isn't too heavy on the stomach and still has those nice flavorful bits. My only gripe with the entire experience was the wait. I'm not sure if it had anything to do with the number of people working the counter but the expected wait time was about twenty minutes per serving. Don't get me wrong, the staff was working as fast as they could. It could also have something to do with the time and day I was there. Thankfully they have seats and a clear monitor that displayed where your order number was in the queue. All in all, not for the impatient or in a hurry but the end product is definitely worth it.

Yes, they only have one size and they have a narrow variety of drinks, but I think their price is fair and that hit of sweetness in their teas is something I look for. I would find myself craving for some pearls and milk tea sometimes, but before with their nearest branch being in the Diliman area, I would often settle for other tea places in Cubao, which were fine, but not exactly Moonleaf. Now they have a branch near Gilmore-Aurora, across St. Paul's QC, and I couldn't be happier to just be able to swing by and get my Moonleaf fix. There was a time when they were insanely overstaffed when they just opened, and then a time when I wasn't sure if they were open or not, and then I thought they had closed completely, though it turned out they just renovated. I don't really stay long there--usually I just get my tea and go--but the place looks comfortable enough, though a bit dim. There's only one staffperson there usually, but they're efficient enough to get the job done and put the order out. There've only been a few times when they didn't have what I wanted, which are usually pearls, but that's something that happens in all the branches anyways. Business seems to do well as they have a full corkboard filled with notes and what-have-you and there are times I visit and the tables and seats are all occupied, so I hope they're here to stay.

It was cold, it was delicious and it really hit that sweet spot. It wasent overly sweet but u knew for sure it was a dessert. The strawberries were fresh and quite delicious. The pieces of cream cheese was good as well. And the strawberry drizzle or jam was throughout the bingsu. We got the regular size which was quite enough for one person.
