I did not know the ideal timeframe to take these newborn photos was 1-2 weeks old. Despite this, we were able to have amazing newborn photos with our 3 week old daughter. This was our first time doing these type of photos and overall experience exceeded our expectations. We just had to show up with the baby and she took care of everything. I will break down for you why Nieshka is awesome and what I learned about newborn photography... 1) Styling skills: She has a great collection of all different fabrics, headbands, beds, baskets, props etc. You can tell she spends time thinking about these items and sourcing them from all over the world. I picked out 3 fabrics and 2 artificial plants I liked and based on that she was able to style the entire shoot, giving me just the right number of options (usually 2) so it was not overwhelming. 2) Newborn skills: She knows how to handle babies, get them to sleep and also wrap them in different fabrics while keeping them asleep. Anyone who has swaddled a baby while trying to keep them sleeping can appreciate this is not any easy task. She was also very conscious of cleanliness 3) Photography skills: She is taking photos in her studio and works to get the best pictures, including adjusting the baby (literally the way the baby's mouth was open). Also our baby was at the height of her baby acne. So many pimples on one eyelid I could not count them all! But I had no idea that Nieshka could magically edit the photos to provide me both the real and airbrushed skin versions. 4) Client service: Her process is easy and clearly communicated through email. Everything was on time and easy to access/download through the gallery site provided. We love having these special photos to share with our friends and family. read more

Where do I start? Nieshka is an amazing person and great at what she does. She was very quick in responding to my emails. I was very concerned and hesitant to do photoshoot for my baby girl due to COVID. But I didn't want to regret not capturing my newborn's early days!! Wow! What a fantastic photo shoot experience with Nieshka! Her love to photography and attention to details had created an extremely comfortable environment for all of us. She made sure that the studio was warm enough before undressing the newborn. Her movements were all slow and steady, ensuring the newborn stayed calm at all times. Absolutely recommend! My friend recommended me to go happymephotography, I like her daughters Newborn pics, so I decided to book her for my new born baby. The studio is nice and new, room temperature is high enough so the baby won't get cold. This review is for our session end of April when our baby boy was 2 weeks old. We reached out to Nieshka last-minute, because the newborn photos from the hospital were delayed and we were itching to send our baby announcement with photos to our family and friends, many of whom are abroad. Nieshka was able to fit us into her schedule, and she took some adorable photos of our baby boy (even though she warned us that taking photos of a 2-week-old is harder than a few days old). Even though I fed our baby before we arrived, he was still awake and hungry during the session. We were afraid that he would be crying, but thankfully Nieshka was still able to take some really nice photos while he was awake. She soothed the baby with her soothing voice and white noise machine throughout the session. For the second half of the session, our baby fell sound asleep and we were able to have more fun with the props. Nieshka was very skillful in putting on new clothes and positioning our baby without waking him up, and the photos turned out great. Nieshka also had a really fast turnaround time. We were able to see our photos that same night, with the higher resolution photos coming in soon after! Now we have these wonderful photos to cherish forever. read more

Nieshka was great! Our 11 month old daughter was pretty fussy the day of the photoshoot....and it was windy--but Nieshka was able to capture some priceless images for us! This was our first time having professional photographs taken for our baby- Nieshka was flexible and accomodated our timing to work with our daughter's naptime. She was punctual and efficient. I think she must have gotten to the park early to figure out the best lighting--she also brought along a bunch of props and set up was extremely quick. The CDs I got included all of the shots Nieshka took- but had 8 total images that were retouched and provided to us in various styles and color formats. Loved them all! I couldn't believe after all the fussies, and windy morning, all these images actually came out! I was also very pleased with her pricing- much more reasonable than some other photography places I've looked. She was also great with our daughter and our family! Highly recommend Nieshka. We were very late on our newborn pictures but Nieshka told us she had no issues with a 8 week old while some photographers told us it was too late for a newborn session. Our biggest concern was obviously precautions for Covid but Nieshka sent us a form with all the things she does to make it a safe environment as well as precautions she wanted us to take. She was great with our baby and the studio was amazing. She had diapers/wipes ready if you forget them, also a white noise machine to keep the baby calm. Our newborn session was about a month ago. Our baby girl initially slept through the first few backdrops/settings but she woke up and remained fussy for the rest of the session. Nieshka helped soothe our baby and magically captured a few beautiful shots despite our baby's fussing and movements! Parents have comfortable chairs to observe from or to rest in during the session. I think we both dozed off at some point. I suggest you pack a lunch or pick up some food before you arrive. You may be there for 4-5 hours! We have recently visited the studio for newborn photoshoot. Because of COVID times, we were worried and skeptical about the idea of photoshoot in these times. But it was such a safe and pleasant experience, I felt I should share my experience here. Safety - Studio was very well maintained. Couch was covered with disposable sheets. Nieshka was sanitizing her hands frequently, especially every time before touching the baby. We were asked to wear masks all the time. All the covid safety protocols were thoroughly followed. Space - Place was clean and very well organized. Convenience - Right after entering the studio, from the beginning to the end of the photoshoot, Nieshka has taken very good care of the baby. She soothed the baby when needed, carefully handled the baby while settling him in positions for setups. She has been very patient when baby was awake. She waited until baby is asleep again. There was no rushing of things. Studio had all the baby supplies, if needed. Quality of work - Just great. We loved every picture taken. All the props looked great. We did a newborn session with Nieshka and she did a great job with our uncooperative baby. We fed her immediately before the shoot in the hopes that she would sleep, but she was wide awake for the first set and never really maintained a deep sleep. Nieshka is one of the most patient people I have ever met. Think about this... she takes a newborn, calms him down, lulls him to sleep, gets him into an outfit, puts him into a perfect pose, then takes a picture.... then repeats the process over and over. We had an absolutely wonderful and safe time with Nieshka during our newborn photoshoot in early February 2021!! She uses a separate studio that is dedicated to shoots, professionally set up with more fabric and prop variety than you can imagine. During Covid, Nieshka was extremely accommodating and had numerous safety protocols in place: constant masking, frequent hand washing and sanitization, disposable one-use sheets , and gloves. Nieshka is also VERY good with newborns; our baby is one who somehow doesn't sleep immediately after feeding, but Nieshka had multiple tricks up her sleeve to calm him and get great photos. Nieshka was amazing! We used her online booking system which was really easy to use and got an appointment for the following day for a newborn photo shoot! She was really friendly over the phone. When we showed up she had all the props and materials laid out! I could tell instantly that this would be a really fun experience! She is also into knitting hats so she has many containers full of hats, head bands, covers, blankets, scarves, etc. There are also many backdrops to choose from for family portraits. The photo session lasted four hours and Nieshka was perfect in handling our newborn daughter and putting her in super cute outfits and positions! My wife and I were so amazed at her abilities. I did a newborn session with Nieshka and not only are her photos AMAZING but she was also amazing with my baby. We waited until our baby was 2 months old, which is way past the recommended time period of 7-10 days, so it was more difficult to photograph her since she wasn't asleep the whole time and moving around a lot. Nieshka was a pro at calming her down and she has all the equipment necessary like a shusher, heater, white noise machine, etc. She was very gentle and stayed calm. I didn't have to do anything at all. I just sat and watched as she calmed her down, fed her, lulled her to sleep, changed her and positioned her into different poses. She also used hand sanitizer before touching the baby. Her photos speak for themselves. They are incredible! Nieshka is very professional and friendly. She knows a lot about newborn photography. In her studio she has a rich collection of backdrops and outfits to choose from. She spent as much as time needed with our newborn baby to make sure all the pictures we are interested in are taken perfectly.
