If giving 0 stars were possible... I would. Service is ALWAYS slow. I came by yesterday 2 hours before closing and was rudely told that they already had enough customers today. Customer service is nonexistent and their facility is not clean. 0/100. Today I went back for a simple fill and was told to leave and never come back once I asked the Manager to correct a nail shape. Well.. im giving this salon a one star but i would give it a ZERO because it's absolutely horrible i went their on 3/24/22 to get a pedicure done because i had an event and let me tell you i am disappointed and furious after all the pedicure at the moment was great ok but 2 days later my right toe starts hurting really bad but i don't think anything of it a few weeks go by i see this bump on my toe were my cuticle is i decide to just brush it of f and forget about it another few weeks pass by and the pain gets progressively worse and the bump get redder and starts to hurt i tell my mom and we decide to go to the er and they tell that its a ingrown toenail infected caused by the tools that they used weren't clean or disinfected so now then I started freaking out but i calmed down and the er gave me antibiotics for 10 days.. later 10 days pass the antibiotics didn't work at all the pain and bump are still their i take ointments and more pills to relieve the pain NOTHING worked a month later passes by my toe is still infected and it gets worse by time i decided to wait 3 months to see if it got any better because usually this never happened to me and I thought it would go away on it own like any person would think but it didn't so a few weeks ago i was going to the bathroom in the morning I couldn't even stand up not to mention I couldn't even walk the pain was intolerable it was so bad so i go back to the er on 6/29/22 and i get their i get admitted and they say its a really bad infected toenail that if I waited a bit more I would've gotten my toe amputated so luckily i went their on time so i tell them everything i told them this pain had been going on since 3 months and how it started and how it ended up being how it is now they td me they were gonna take my whole nail out and but they were going to num it with 2 needles i told them ok thank you and they proceeded to put the numbing stuff on those needles hurt so bad i was crying then they proceeded to take out the whole nail i didn't feel a thing because i was numbed and im glad they took it out they told me i should take about 6 weeks for me to healed with the pain but the nail will take about a year to grow again now im still healing to the pain its only been about 5 days since i got it removed but im doing much better now thats it's removed and i can somewhat walk I can't walk perfectly because i have a bandage on all day but at least the pain i had before I don't have that anymore and i can stand up and walk but also while taking precautions about the whole situation! from this experience that i had I will NEVER go back to a nail salon to get a pedicure because i will not go thru that pain EVER again and the cause of what im dealing with right now is because THIS nail salon doesn't know how to do their work and also one of the doctors told me be i also had gotten my toe infected because if they don't clean the tools they use good then i can get a bacteria and i also had that ! now i will proceed to show all of you my nail process from 3/24/22 until 6/29/22 that i got it removed i obviously didn't take pictures the whole three months straight but i have a lot of pictures so here they are! I will have to admit this is the fastest pedicure I've ever had but when paying over 50 dollars for one that's not a good sign. I was in and out in 20 minutes I paid 55 dollars pretty much for a polish change and for the lady to rub some funky ass lotion on my legs . My left leg only touched the water so she rinse it off........Definitely will never go here again . Absolutely terrible service . read more

I was up in the city for a weekend 4th of July celebration with my boyfriend and our friends. I decided before the party to get a new set of acrylic nails as the ones I had on previously were done not super well down in Ft. Lauderdale. I went with one of my friends at 3pm on a Friday with no appointment and we got in immediately. The lady who did my nails was very detailed with my natural nails making sure they were still filed and short, even if they were getting covered up by nail tips. She did really good with everything except the filing. My nails are crooked and I had to file them again at home. I wanted square and sharp and they're not very straight, and definitely not sharp. My friends nails were done great so I would go back, just not to her. However the color is perfect and they have dozens and dozens of options, more than I'd ever seen. I got 611 with 127 overtop, a sparkly overcoat. The inside is very clean and the strip mall is in is also very tidy, with copious amounts of parking. I live in Gainesville so I wouldn't return here unless I was already in the city, but if I decide to get my nails done with my friend again, it will be here. read more

After going to Happy Nails II for 3 years, even though I wasn't always real happy about my nails, I went this week for a mani, gel etc. Tony, who always does my nails, made nails square on one hand and oval, almost pointy, on the other hand. I kept telling him no, that's wrong but he seemed to not understand or care. The owner came over and they made a big scene, embarrassing me so bad, and then owner asked me to leave. I was blown away. How do you treat a loyal customer this way? I left the salon teary eyed and bewildered, nails half done and very messed up. I wound up going to a sub par shop to get them finished. Now I'm looking for a new salon and can't find anything with decent ratings. The language barrier is very frustrating as I have to use pictures to convey what I want. read more

Called prior to showing up about getting my nails filled and broken nails fixed. I drove 20 mins to get there just to have the lady tell me they don't fix broken nails from other shops. It makes no since because I showed her that the broken nails were completely gone! I get my nails done regularly and am looking for a regular spot here in Lake City but can't seem to find a spot. I guess I'll keep my nail spot in Jacksonville, the hour drive is worth it at least. read more

Save your money & time. I gave them 3 chances but no more. Staff is rude, inexperienced & slow. They charge more than my normal salon, why I don't know because they just do not do good work. Nice salon but so what if I walk out with crappy looking nails. They need to get it together. Last straw for me was when I got my usual mani/pedi. Two days later, the gel polish on my fingernails started to peel off 2 of my nails. They refused to re-do the 2 fingers, I had to get another $35.00 manicure. Pissed, uh, yea. Lil bit. This place is horrific. They cut my nails down to the nail bed and my polish has bumps all in it. When I mentioned it to them they argued with me telling me "that's the kind of polish it is" ...... it was an Essie polish that I've used before. No Essie polish has sediment in it. This is my second attempt at this place in two years. I only tried it again because I was given a gift certificate. Extremely rude and do a horrible job. So many other quality salons in lake city. 35 dollars down the drain. Oh. And a 5 dollar tip I gave him before he got to my nails.. silly me. read more

So me and my husband decided to come up here. He got a pedicure and i got a full set. Well they over charged him for his pedicure, then they made fun of my nails because as you can see they are short. It's very obvious. Well like 2 days later they started turning brown so i went up there and they kept telling me it was my hair dye and etc, but i don't even dye my hair. So obviously they were coming up with excuses to cover themselves. Well they kept making fun of my nails and talking and pointing at me, my daughter and my daughters friend. Well they redid them after they kept trying to refuse, they looked good and everything so i tipped the young man of course. Well now this is just a couple days after they so called "fixed" it. I had a 9 am appointment. The crew was ten minutes late opening. This was my first time, we just moved here. I was told wash my hands after I explained I had an appointment, so I did. Then 5 people behind me without appointments walk in and they begin to wait on them first and leave me sitting. After 15 more minutes, I walked out. I will find a better place to have my nails done. They are charging for the basic length on nails now like you have to pay $5 more for it to be an half of an inch off of your fingernail and they don't have it no where on there sign they just now decided to do this and I feel like thats not right to make up something without it being in fine print I use to like them but not anymore & they will sneakily put gel polish on your toes with out telling you and then try to charge you for it even though you didn't ask for that and then catch an attitude when you tell them to take it off . read more

Pedicure and manicure were a bit of a torture experience. Kind of wondering if the guys who give the pedicures and manicures ever get them themselves? That should maybe be a requirement so they understand what they are putting their customers through. I am not fond of pain. The 6 minute massage I paid extra for, was probably less than a minute. I got a manicure and pedicure here a few weeks ago. I paid my bill with a charge card and paid cash for my tip. I just received my credit card bill and then charged me $10.00 extra on my account then my bill stated that I signed. Very dis-honest! Waited 15 minutes for a pedicure without any acknowledgment from the staff. Was sent to the back to soak my feet thinking they were ready to help me but instead I just continued waiting. 30 minutes of sitting around I dried my feet and walked out! I love having my nails done here, they come out perfect every time! I've been to other Nail Salon's in the area and have had problems with them matching my gel polish to my toes, and at Happy Nails 2 they are very nice, they take their time and give a wonderful pedi/Mani they make you feel comfortable by taking to you, instead of talking to everyone else around you. Until November 9th. I have always liked getting my nails done here. I just wanted to get a pedicure before going on my cruise. I picked my color, the gentlemen polished one foot and ran out of polish. I asked him can you just finish with the gel color. He said ma'am gel color cost more. I understand that, you are supposed to accommodate your customer. You ran out of the product I wanted. I guess since you not an American, you don't. I asked for the manager, she says can you just choose another color. If I wanted another color I would've chosen it first. Can't have my toes jacked up tomorrow on my cruise.
