Was he distant to come here because of other reviews but then realized those reviews were all very old. I figured I should give it a chance. I'm glad I stopped. I was surprised at how busy they were for the time of day I went. They were still able to get me in right away & didn't rush. If you are looking for a fabulous mani or pedi, look no further! I have come here multiple times since moving to town and have always left relaxed and happy. They do a great job at making all manis and pedis look flawless and the last time I got a gel manicure, it legitimately lasted 4 WHOLE WEEKS with no chips or peels! AMAZING! I do recommend making an appointment if you are in a hurry as Thursday's and Friday afternoons can be a bit busy! They welcome walk in customers and do everything they can to be efficient and get you in as quick as possible. Definitely reasonable price! read more

I came to Happy Nails with my mother and my little sister, who is 5. My mother and myself got luxury pedicures, which were wonderful. I was most impressed by the young woman doing my little sister's nails. Despite my sister being a young child and being antsy, she was absolutely patient and wonderful. She took her time, even though my sister would have been happy with any old paint job, and made sure my sisters nails were just as lovely as my mother's and mine. My sister got her finger and toe nails done in the time it took for our pedicures. The nail tech even tried multiple times over to make sure my sister could have a cute little flower on her big toe, and she wanted to make sure it was placed right. It was a Saturday and not too busy in the slightest! Happy with the results! They got me in on Christmas Eve with no appointment and no wait time. I've been here twice now. Sounds like they are under new management and the service itself was slow but very meticulous and detailed. I wasn't in a hurry to be anywhere so no problem. I have been going there for sometime. Last couple of times after the fill, my fingers/cuticles were red, inflamed and very sore. I had to use alcohol wipes a couple of times a day for about three days before they felt okay. I called yesterday for an appointment, the guy who runs the place and who has done my nails in the past gave me an appointment time. He knows that I perfer a certain person. I got there before my appointment time, I was not greated, I just took a seat. 20 minutes later a girl who has never done my nails before approached me. I said that I was waiting for someone else. the guy who runs the place stood up and said you did not specifically ask, and I do not have time for you. (end of conversation) the place was full. I said, How rude. I walked out and I will not be back. This guy totally takes his customers for granted. He appears to think he is doing you a favor by helping you. I will not be back. read more

i had the worst experience when she was taking off the old color she hit the skin of my finger and she sorry she was laughing about it there fingernail polish all over my finger she was very sloppy i got them done on wed and i have a nail that looks like its about to fall off u can see marks from the grinders i will never go there again i will go to my normal salon WONDER NAILS in beaver dam and another thing if they expect u to pay 60.00 for something i normally pay 45.00 do a great job not a shitty job left there saying i will not be back a 2 nd time read more

I'll start by saying this has been my go-to place for years. I always call ahead and ask for an appointment because it can really pick up around 5pm. The two last times I got a fill I was disappointed to say the least. A man who has never done my nails before cracked a nail right before putting the polish on. He had my put the nail back in the UV light to "fix it." The nail broke a week after the appointment, even with being careful. Went in at this point and I had asked for a new set as my nails were lifting but was recommended a fill and a new nail for the broken one, okay fine. My nails were lifting so Michelle re-glued them. While re-gluing my pinky nail, the glue was attached to my fingertip in a way that created a blood blister by the end of my appointment. Before I left the parking lot I couldn't touch my pinky to anything without pain. I eventually found where the glue was attached and took a small baby pin to pick the glue out to relieve my pinky. The blister lasted 9 days and was painful the entire time. Actually, as I'm writing this review it's still sore, that was three weeks ago. I'll mention prior to these last two experiences the only problem I have is the drying agent used on the nail. My fingertips burn for about an hour with the combo of the UV light. The burning combined with the blister was a nightmare. I can normally deal with the burning no problem but I've now found a new salon and ironically, they use the same equipment but their drying agent hasn't made my fingers burn... Needless to say, it looks like this place is going downhill while their prices are climbing. read more

I went here to get my nails done for prom and I wanted a manicure and the guy said ok you can have that then when he started he completely cut my Cuticles to the point where they were bleeding and then shaped my nails wrong and uneven. My nails don't even look good for prom. After he painted them he said no you are not getting manicure because I want to help someone else. I found him to be very rude to me. If you want a pleasant nail experience with great nails keep look because this is not it. read more

I have been here twice now.. Both times as a walk in because I don't live in the area.. I was seated immediately and treated well.. I bite my nails and they were extremely ugly and short, but when I was finished they were absolutely gorgeous!! I have anxiety and I find having my nails done nerve wracking but at Happy Nails I don't feel so super nervous!! There are nail places closer to home, but it's worth the drive!! read more

I was going to refrain from giving a poor review, but considering that I now have to go to a nail salon today to fix my peeling nails (Powder dip), after spending $40 w/$10 tip, to say I am disappointed is an understatement. I travel often, so I will occasionally visit places, that are not my regular nail salon. Sadly, this place failed to deliver on many levels. Customer service: the first male that helped me was very cold and hardly acknowledged me when I tried to talk to him. He then left Acetone polish remover on for far longer than the 5 mins he said before he disappeared in the back. I became rather anxious when he didn't come back out. My nail beds were burning from the prolonged soaking of the acetone to take off the powder dip. Quality: powder dip, peeling after 3 days?! I'm really upset, I shouldn't have any issues this soon. Waste of my time, waste of my money. I won't recommend, nor will I be back. read more

Went for a pedicure, and had the worst pedicure of my life! The man doing the pedicure cut my toe nails so short (right down to the skin) and 3 of my toes were bleeding! Each time he cut I gasped and pulled my foot away and he just kept saying "sorry" when I noticed my nails bleeding he quickly pushed my foot into the water. I watched him wipe my blood on his glove and just keep going. Then he proceeded to wash the next foot bath over for another customer with the same gloves on with my blood on them. Then tried to come back and finish my toes without changing his gloves ever! I was appalled! This was a few days ago and 3 of my toes are so sore and are a bit swollen! I will never go back ever!!! I've been coming here for the past 2 years. I called and made an appointment on a Tuesday. Most of the time the employees aren't too friendly. Didn't really care as long as the nails were done well. I've noticed the price has increased and the service had gotten worse. The last time I went I ended up with an infected toenail. Was not happy. So many tools are clearly NOT sterilized. This place is anything but happy. No one smiled or even said anything else than asking what I want. Anytime I would put my hand or foot in the wrong place they would just slap it down, not saying a word. They are extremely slow. Anyone who had a reservation had to wait so I'm not sure it's even worth it to call ahead. The massages were not given with any "umphh"... Just mindlessly rubbing their hands up and down. The guy who did my no chip nails did a poor job where paint hardened on my cuticles. He also kept putting nail polish remover over a cut that i had. Really, he didn't know that would hurt? Even with an appointment, one of us had our feet in the ( cold) water for 40 min.
