Thankfully, I chose neither, paid, and left. After doing research, it turns out all my cat needed was a switch to wet food instead of dry. It is now several months later. My cat stopped losing weight uncontrollably, got back to a healthy weight, and acts several years younger than his age. Dr. Barrs completely lacked empathy, was very passive aggressive and rude, and suggested what was best for his own pockets. I mean, seriously, instead of a simple inexpensive diet change, he suggests end of life care or daily insulin shots I had already told him I could not afford? What a piece of work he is. I fully question his professional judgment. He didn't care one iota about me or my cat. I would never bring another animal to this place again. One positive about this place is the lady at the front desk was really nice to me. Dr. Barrs, on the other hand, could use a lesson in empathy, kindness, professionalism, and not being a greedy person.
