I told the groomer I'd like to give him a good trim for the summer because he was starting to look like a little fuzzy bear cub. The girls at the front were very sweet and greeted my dog and chatted with me when I came to drop him off. I felt very comfortable leaving my fuzz ball with them! I knew he'd be in good hands! They offer other services for a little bit of a charge but all in all I think they're reasonably priced compared to other places. Although, it was a pretty pricey first time visit that required me to pay for shots he didn't have and a fecal exam, which is why I gave 4 stars (not from around here maybe this is a common practice!) But they are upfront with all the costs and there are no surprises! Hopefully he was a good boy for everyone!

I arrived around 9:25 AM, having never been to this location before. I don't own pets myself. When I pulled up, I honestly thought the place was abandoned. The building is very small and resembles a converted shed, which was already a little off-putting. Around 9:27, I saw three people exit their cars and go inside the gated area. I followed shortly after with the dog, but when I tried the door, it was locked. I knocked, assuming maybe they just hadn't unlocked it yet since the appointment was for 9:30. At exactly 9:30, someone came out, flipped the sign to "open," and I entered with the dog. I greeted them with a "Good morning," but was immediately met with a rude and aggressive attitude. One of the women told me, very harshly, that I should never knock on the door again because they were inside grooming. I was shocked and confused. I had no idea. Then she snapped, "Can you shut the door? We have air conditioning." At this point I was irritated and honestly felt very disrespected, but I kept my composure since I was doing this on behalf of a friend. When they saw the dog, they started acting strange and commenting that he didn't look like the photo. Another woman came over and asked his name, what services he was supposed to receive, and requested proof of rabies vaccination, which I sent via text as instructed. Overall, my experience here was unwelcoming, uncomfortable, and honestly, disgusting. I don't know if the treatment I received had anything to do with my appearance or race, but I couldn't shake the feeling that I wasn't being treated with the same respect as others might have been. The woman with the dark hair in a ponytail was especially rude and needs a serious attitude adjustment. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy was astounding. No one should be treated this way, pet owner or not.

And actually you will. When you spend 50 dollars, you can save 0.50 cents. You spend 100 dollars and you can save a whopping one dollar. But wait, there's a catch! You have to spend that 50 dollars ten times before you get your 5 dollars off. You can go to walmart across the street and buy ten cans of the same pet food and you save one dollar instantly. Our babies pull us to the door and get excited when they get there. It's always an uneasy feeling to leave your fur babies behind when you go out of town, but Camp Bow Wow puts my mind at ease. Adding pictures of my babies Bleu (Frenchie) and Chubb (Boston Terrier) so we don't get lost! FYI the sleeping pictures are of them when they get home! They are exhausted!

I was told to give the owner and sole employee, Tonya, "2 hours". I'm elderly and the drive from my home was more than anticipated. I back tracked to a near by city and shopped. After almost 1.5 hours, I returned and texted Tonya that I was outside, but that I was just waiting because the drive home and then back was just too far and would take too much gas. I rec'd no reply. She arrived about 5 minutes later yelling " Don't come in! Don't come in!". I sat for a few minutes and contacted a friend. I went in. She had not even began to bathe or groom my $2600 Imperial Shih Tzu! She was trying to cover up this fact by having washed her anal area and was blow drying it! She then shaved my little girl straight down her back from neck to tail! I walked out rather than scream! The damage was done! I am beyond horrified! I returned about 20 minutes later with a check written and to collect my dog...done or not! Another couple arrived to board dogs at the same time. Between phone calls to sell puppies, dogs in the same area in cages barking so loud incessantly so you can't even talk and the smell of old urine and fleas was too much! I was just done! She threw my little dog at me unfinished and never bathed! Shame on her. She should be shut down!

So we wasted a whole day waiting on this appt that was scheduled for 3 (also wrong services put in his chart). I will be finding somewhere else for my grooming. This review was meant for the Perry, Ga location. I do apologize to Dublin, I do hope your services are better.
