I have been a loyal customer of King of Budz on Walden Avenue pretty much since the location…read moreopened. During that entire time, I had never returned a single item or had any issue with a product. I have had 2 interactions with this "Manager" named SADIA. When the previous manager or staff that was actually friendly and was knowledgeable about products were there, I was specifically told that if I ever had a problem with a product, returning it would never be an issue. Unfortunately, when I finally needed assistance with a defective marijuana cart, my experience was completely different. The cart was not working, so I brought it back to the store. The manager took the unused full cartridge from me and brought it back with her into the back room. I was not given a refund or a replacement cartridge. Instead, I was given a bright green battery/base that she had me test me non-working cartridge with even though I did not need or ask for one. I asked the cashier where my cart was and she said she didn't know. So not only did I have to buy a new one, I didn't even get the full non-working one back. I was already running behind and didn't have time to wait so I just left. A few days later, when I was able to return to the store, I spoke with the same manager again. She refused to acknowledge that I had even been there earlier that week and would not provide a refund or replace the cartridge. I ultimately had no choice but to spend additional money and purchase another cartridge. As someone who had supported this location for a long time and had never attempted to return anything before, I found the way this situation was handled extremely disappointing. The manager took possession of my defective cartridge, but the issue was never resolved. Being treated like crap and having such a terrible attitude over something so small, and to act as though my previous visit never happened, and then being expected to purchase another cartridge, was unacceptable!! Based on this experience, I WILL NOT be returning to this location. In my opinion, the customer service and overall experience at this store have gone significantly downhill. I will also be sharing my experience with friends, family, and others I know so they can make an informed decision before choosing to shop here. I will be posting reviews on many platforms so that people are aware and don't continue to support this dispensary. This was a very disappointing experience from a business I had supported since it opened.
