UPDATE: We came back a few months later for his checkup and the experience was just as great as the first time. The staff is friendly and fun, and Dr. Hanks really is so good with his patients. We took our son here when he was 8.5 months old because we had some questions about his teeth and gums. Dr. Hanks was wonderful and did an amazing job! Our little guy had such a great time there with all the fun things there was to do. I hope to keep bringing him here for years to come! read more

Yes, this place really is a dentist office. I know it's easy to be confused when you walk in. Holy cow what a dream for a mother to find this place! There's a slide, white board, books and coloring pages, and a gigantic Lite Brite board on the wall! I was bummed they brought us back so quick, we didn't even have time to play with even half of these fun toys! The office was very modern and high tech, with televisions on the ceiling playing Disney movies. There were toys and entertainment in every room to keep kiddos entertained and distracted from anything painful or scary. Everything was so clean and well taken care of. My son could've played on the floor and it wouldn't bother me. The dentist and all of his staff were super awesome! You can tell they really enjoy what they do. We will definitely be back! read more

The office staff is legit. My dudes loved the vibe of the office. From the smell, music, cleanliness etc. Can't rave enough about the team. One of my littles had extensive work done. They were super fast and completed a lot of work. He was super behaved and cooperated really well. It was his first experience with treatment. I let him know to only raise his hand when he was hurting or needed a break...dr wasnt thrilled with that because he ignored every raised hand. I was pretty bummed about that. Really my only con but it could have just been the drs annoyance with me. read more

They don't seem to care about the patients or their life/schedule. They asked me to change my appointment time last minute. I ended up being late because of crazy winter storm rush hour traffic (which i would've avoided if I had kept my original time.) they couldn't care less and just offered me a new appointment in TWO WEEKS. read more

We didn't have a good experience here unfortunately. It seemed really nice through the videos etc. My son liked the play rooms, but the didn't do a good job at all and the vibe wasn't chill. My son needed his tooth pulled and originally 2 other dentists didn't see cavities, but last minute they told us there were 8! (also claiming that they missed them originally too, apparently easy to miss) They seemed really rushed and annoyed so we went ahead and got them filled while my son was under anesthesia, and within a month one fell out. They also didn't allow me in the room during the operation while he was under, which made me really uncomfortable. My son had a gaping hole in the back of his mouth where the filling fell out and they said they couldn't get him in for 2 months to fill it. It wasn't until I got the insurance company involved that they offered a sooner date, but at that point I wasn't interested in trusting his work. I've read other reviews that he seemed entitled and didn't connect well with their kids, I would agree with this as well. The x-ray tech was nice and they anesthesiologist, who was not in house, was nice too. Don't buy into the hype of the advertising. Stick with a classic and trusted style pediatric dentist. Their moto "all feelings are welcome" is bs, not a safe space for feelings or great dental work... read more

I was hesitant to write this BUT I need to let other parents know. When we first brought my daughter here, we really enjoyed the friendly staff, relaxed and fun environment that caters to making children feel comfortable. However, with our last visit we were just alarmed. After my daughter was examined, the dental hygienist informed that my daughter may have a (1) cavity forming and how it can affect two of her teeth if we don't take care of it but the dentist would talk to me about it. And he did, he came in and immediately said she had cavities on both sides of her mouth and will need fillings and four crowns. The dentist proceeded as to telling me my options: sedation or numbing the area, crowns, fillings.....WHAT?! I was surprised, I didn't know how she would get so many cavities within a few months but I just agreed to get a quote . I then booked an appointment for a second opinion, and guess what , my daughter has no cavities. Please proceed with caution and if needed get a second opinion. read more

This office is really close to my home so I thought I'd see if my 4 yo liked the staff here. I'm glad we gave it a shot! The staff is wonderful, the office is really clean and they have a basketball court. read more

It's only a 1 star review because 0 isn't an option. GO ANYWHERE ELSE. I've been to a handful of pediatric dentists with my kids and Dr. Hanks came so highly recommended, and had so many 5 star reviews, that of course we gave him a shot. My 6 year old daughter needed work on both sides of her mouth, so we scheduled 2 appointments. The first appointment went fine. He was a little bit rough, but he worked quickly and it didn't seem to bother my daughter. Nothing stellar, but nothing terrible. The second appointment they were running about 30 minutes behind. No big deal - that happens in offices. After being taken to the room we sat for another 15 minutes waiting for Dr. Hanks. He came in, did the numbing shots, then left for about 45 minutes. He came back in and got right to work. My daughter, immediately after he started, began raising her hand (as that was what they told her to do if it hurt). She kept laying still and the tears were rolling down her cheeks - finally I asked the dentist if they could do anything since she was clearly in pain. He shrugged, injected the needle several more times then went right back to work. As a mother, I'm mortified to admit that I had no clue what to do. I just sat there as the tears kept flowing, she kept raising her hand, and squeezing mine, and I just kept telling her it's going to be okay. I should have advocated for my child more. The staff and Dr. Hanks seemed unphased and told her she was doing a great job, so I just went along with it. As soon as they were done, and got everything out of her mouth, she began to hyperventilate. As this was something I've never dealt with, I was doing my best trying to convince my child to breathe - it got the point that her eyes were rolling into the back of her head. It was terrifying. The hygienist asked me if we could please move somewhere else because they needed the room for the next patient. I was appalled. I still am. As if that experience was not enough, at the first appointment they told me to pay half the bill- the amount they quoted - so I did. After the second visit, they sent me a bill for 3 times the amount we paid that was supposed to be the second "half". I have called several times to try and talk to somebody in their office, and left several voicemails to only receive rude and dismissive texts back from them. I will never set foot in this office again, from start to finish it has been horrible. I will let everybody know about our experience because no child or parent deserves the type of treatment and lack of concern we received. It makes me curious how many of their reviews were purchased. read more
