Chevron with techtron is usually higher priced than other stations, but it's good gas and....my car was on E. This station is really clean and inviting. Seriously. They have a McDonalds attached so you can literally eat and get gas. Because the Texas Powerball is at an astronomical $1.2B, I had to go inside. Super clean inside, too. That's when I met manager John, who is extremely knowledgeable with almost all things gas and lottery-related...plus he's a friendly cool guy. So I bought my tickets and made it to work on-time. Everything is fresh and in abundance. They have these cherry tomatoes called "Flavor Bombs" and are so good and sweet. Plus all the fresh herbs are amazing. Sometimes I shop here just for the produce. You can take a shortcut through the doorway into self-service coffee, nuts, candy and spices or continue to Seafood and Meats. My favorite in seafood is the Lobster in the tank and only when it's a special occasion And in the meat area, I like their pork chops, ground pork, and large hamburger patties. In the middle store I like their olive oils, with so many choices but my favorite is the Central Market Sicilian flavor. Now for the cheese and dairy my go to butter is the La Gall French Butter, so good. We like their fresh baked breads especially the Sour Dough and Naan. The freshness and selection always exceed expectations. Coming from New England, I'm extremely picky about seafood, and this is the only place in the area where I'll buy it. That says a lot about their quality and standards. Crowds can be intense on Saturdays and Sundays, especially around the produce and meat sections. It feels like being packed in with sardines (lol pun), but that's just a sign of how popular the store is. If you prefer a calmer shopping experience, I recommend going on weekdays or in the evenings. The staff is friendly and helpful. Once, while I was debating how a seasonal product might taste, an employee overheard me and offered to open a box so I could sample it. I was honestly surprised to learn that they'll open almost anything for you to try. I declined and bought it anyway, but that level of service really impressed me. I also love how Central Market leans into the seasons. Their themed décor changes throughout the year, adding charm and warmth from the entrance to the back of the store. One Christmas, a violinist was performing near the seafood counter. Shopping for dinner while listening to live holiday music was such a special touch and exactly the kind of experience that makes this place stand out. The only reason I'm deducting a star is for the restrooms near the wine and beer section. On the very rare occasion I've had to use them, they've been filthy and unpleasantly odorous. For a store that takes such pride in presentation and quality, the bathrooms fall short of their otherwise excellent standards. Despite that, Central Market remains one of my favorite grocery destinations; a place that truly elevates the everyday shopping experience.

Parking lot repairs, a cleaner and more organized store with better selection of products, and a very courteous and efficient staff. I give them a 5 star rating, and hope that anyone with bad past experiences will reconsider and give the new folks a chance. I will continue supporting this local business, and hope that others will as well.

The two employees that were on duty did not greet me, never made eye contact with me, and the mousy woman on duty seemed aggravated with me because your machine could not read my chip card. My card is fine. I did not feel welcomed in your store and so I will not be back. I spend around $1000 a year at your store but, no more. My monies will go elsewhere. It must be nice to have so much revenue as to turn away customers that are old and ugly like me, My money is the same in appearance as all of your other customers.

When I walked in I was greeted by the owner. It's a small convenience store that sells the usual but he also carries a variety of beer and wine. I have never seen a convenient store carry this much wine and beer. The whole back wall is filled with a variety of wine. I grabbed a few four packs of Seagram's and Jack Daniel's wine cooler. I asked the owner if he could order my favorite wine and my husband's favorite beer and he said Yes. I'm not a big soda drinker but I noticed that he sells Peach Nehi and Tahitian fruit punch. I grabbed a two liter of both. Prices are very reasonable too. I grabbed a small box of lemon heads and apple head candy for 25 cents. I don't like dealing with crowds especially when I can walk in and out in five minutes. I will be a regular customer. If you are in the area, stop by.

They also have a wide array of fried foods to satiate your appetite, like Crispitos. They have fountain drinks. They have that little orange seasoning on the rice. Other places, even with the name "Gyro" in them, are just alright. Don't let this little unassuming gas station fool you. Making a gyro run now and couldn't believe it hasn't been reviewed!
