They said they did what they needed to connect the HVAC and that we needed an electrician to install another circuit in the attic to connect the things that were removed so that the HVAC could use the current circuit. After weeks of waiting for 2-3 other electrical companies to come out, we had several no-shows and poor communication. We contacted HD electric and very quickly, Doug came to the rescue! When Doug arrived, I called my HVAC installer to explain what exactly was done and needed to be done. As he went on, Doug developed a facial expression that said "this guy is not making sense." He went into the attic to investigate. He came down with a puzzled expression, checked behind the plates of a few electrical switches and asked if I had any lightbulbs. I did and I brought them out. One by one, he simply replaced lightbulb after lightbulb and almost all the lights were restored. Turns out that the HVAC installers overloaded the circuit and cause a surge that blew all the can light bulbs. We didn't need another circuit installed and he was very quick to identify that. Additionally, our undercabinet lighting had been manually turned off on each of the lighting units (not by us)...and a simple flick of the switches on each unit turned them back on. It was kinda funny, but at the same time, completely adverse to what the HVAC installer had explained to be the issue. Doug was finished and out the door in less than 20 minutes leaving all lights in working order.....everything has been fine since. Later it occurred to me that another electrician, when hired specifically to install a new circuit, thought that was not the issue at all, may have gone ahead and done so as it would have been a more lucrative job....and I wouldn't have known it was unnecessary given the picture painted by the HVAC installer who assured me that it was what needed to be done. HD Doug was fast, knowledgable, realistic, honest and pleasant. This was about 9-10 months ago. Recently, I had a need for an electrician for another project and after waiting weeks for couple of other flakey, unresponsive electricians to show up, I remembered Doug and gave his office a call. I spoke with an answering service who took down my info and Doug called back in less than a half hour. We are currently coordinating a schedule as there is another party that needs to be present at the same time. I have total faith that this will move along quickly and the job will get done efficiently and well! Don't hesitate to give HD Electric a call. They don't just return calls quickly, they actually show up on time, communicate well and do great work. Highly recommended!

After the morning passed and he hadn't contacted me, I called and he made over in 30 minutes and said it'd cost about $200-300. $200 if repaired, $300 if replaced. I got a schedued work date and requested an estimate via text with Mary Beth. I never received the estimate or an invoice. The communication was via text. A group of workers came and did the work (not including John). John mis remembered the detials of the initial walk through and had to go get more materials. I communicated clearly that I needed hardiboard. Some materials were left at our home after the job. Months later when my HOA was ready to paint my home I was informed that the material put on my home was in fact not hardiboard. I communicated this immediatlely to Mary Beth. She scheduled John to come back out to view the work with our HOA president. John said that the materials left were not from the work he did and disputed with me that the material was in fact hardiboard. I had to get Mary Beth on the phone and use my texts in order for John to admit that it was the incorrect material and they needed to remove it and redo the job. After agreeing to remove the incorrect material in exchange for hardiboard Mary Beth began making excuses about personal issues and scheduling for 2-3 months. She NEVER called me I had to keep reaching back out to them for weeks. It was not until I asked for thier liscense information to file a report with the BBB that Mary Beth informed me that they do NOT have a liscense. That communication finally opened up thier schedule and they came out to redo the work in the following days. John did not apologize or even show his face during this redo. He came and took photos and talked with the workers but never spoke to my husband or I again. Im glad we did not have to file civally to rectify the issue.
