The staff were very rude!!! Went in the store to purchase a certain generator they showed in stock online. Was going to purchase online but decided to travel the hour and 1/2 to just pick up. My family and I get there, they are renovating the store. They show us the generator in the back but say they can't sell it because it's their display THAT IS STILL IN THE BOX, in the back, not even on display until the renovations are complete (which was barley started). They could have made a sale and purchased another for display. When we asked to just help us out because we drove all the way here to buy it, they were rude and yelled at us. This is by far, the worst Harbor Freight store we've ever been to. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! Don't let their cheap pricing fool you!! Not only that, the customer service is horrible. I spent over $1400 of items in this store because I own my own company and had to do an install out of state and it required these items for the install. The install was cancelled and so I didn't need all of the items so I went back to return some of the items and the assistant manager(Trista or Christa,of course she mumbled her name) was very rude and the total did not come out accurately but the assistant manager called the manager(Jose) and he refused to speak with me over the phone. She claimed that they were closing in less than a half an hour and she didn't have time to check everything with the receipt and to pack up everything and come back the next day. She didn't say it in a nice way, when I said that the amount wasn't accurate with what I've returned, she said, "I don't care, I don't have time to go over everything so pack up your items and come back when the other manager is in and they have time because I don't feel like dealing with this right now." This was word for word. I wished I had a recorder because if I did, I would take it up with the newspaper and I am definitely reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. I've purchased from them before and had to return some items because they were broken but I thought, well, I can understand, things happen, but this is EVERY TIME that I've been treated like dirt and the first few times, I tried to pass it off as the teller was having a bad day, but to have two managers talk to me that way?? Oh no, I'm coming back to return my items and I WILL be speaking with someone that's above the assistant manager and manager's heads and after I return the items, I am NEVER coming back here again and as an owner in a business that does fabrication, I will make sure to tell all my friends, workers, family and clients to NEVER set foot in that store and they won't, because as an Engineer, they know that I'm not ignorant and I'm experienced in dealing with companies like Harbor Freight Tools. 75% of what you buy is cheap and if you try to return them, they will fight you tooth and nail. Not only that, two customers watched the whole thing and they dropped everything that they were going to buy and walked out! They stopped me in the parking lot and said that they were shocked of how I was treated and the first item that one of them had bought broke after the first use and they went to return it and was given a hard time about it, and they only shop there if they have to but after that show, they will never set foot in that store either, and they will pass it on to their friends and family. I've already contacted Corporate and lodged a formal complaint and am getting them involved. My wife and I checked over all of the items and they left out 4-5 things that they didn't include on the refund!!! So if I let them bully me into just giving me the refund without checking it over, I wouldn't have been reimbursed for almost $300 worth of items!! I'm thinking about starting a boycott at that place, get the media involved. This is ridiculous!! read more
