They seem to think it is perfectly OK to deliver wrong and broken items as long as they issue a refund. I'm new to the area and needed to purchase appliances and a storm door. As to the door, I paid the $40 deposit for someone to visit and provide a quote. This was to happen within 48-72 hours. After 172 hours and a few phone calls I went to the store and requested my money. After 10 business days when the money had not been returned to my credit card I went back into the store and again requested my refund. Apparently the first person had not completed the return he only stopped an installer from visiting. As to the washer and dryer after 6 promise to deliver dates I cancelled. It took 3 weeks to have the washer and dryer removed from my credit card. This store is the pitts. If I could rate lower than one star I would. read more

Stopped into Home Depot to order a sliding door for my patio. Paid the guy 35.00 to measure the door. Once measurements were done appx 3 days later got a call from Home Depot in reference to price . Went to store and paid for door and professional installation. Once door arrived was called by contractor to schedule the install . Day arrived of install and contractor stated door was too small . No one from Home Depot called to think of a game plan to fix said problem . My day off appx 5 days later I went to store and was told nothing they can do . They just refunded me back my 1800.00 plus measuring fee . They didn't even try to find a solution. Went to Lowe's and magically they could do the job .the funny part is Lowe's was 300.00 less . This is not my first dissatisfaction with Home Depot, but will be my last . It all started back in July 2017 when they delivered the wrong washer to my home . Then Sept 2017 I purchased All new kitchen appliances and to this day I'm still fighting with them over my refrigerator. The freezer side has a vacuum seal and the top half of my freezer looks like a winter wonderland . I will never use Home Depot ever again . read more

NEVER will i order anything from Homedepot.com again in my life. This has been a stressful nightmare that left me feeling ROBBED and stolen from. I ordered 9 cases of porcelain tile for my patio area. I went to curbside to pick up the 8 cases that came in. the first two cases were almost all broken. I did not even open the other six cases and returned all of them for a refund. and canceled the last case that had not reached yet. They claimed to put the refund back on my card. But did not. After I filed a claim with the credit card. I got a small refund of 3 boxes of tile. HomeDepot kept a large amount of my money. For what reason? I don't know. Other money was taken from my bank card too. HOME DEPOT DID NOT SECURE MY CARD INFORMATION. I called the store manger and went to the store two time. the manager,Chris did not address me or refund me in full. I want to post photos of the box of broken tile. This place didn't secure my debit card information properly and it's now in the hands of identity thieves. The Home Depot store itself is ok, although the parking lot is a little strange and dirty, and their inventory is hit and miss. Regardless, I won't be shopping here again because this store allowed identity thieves to steal my credit card information and my email address (along with thousands of other customers). In response, my bank cancelled my credit card just before Christmas (perfect timing, huh?). If Home Depot would have taken proper precautions before the data theft, they could have prevented it. Instead they allowed it to happen and made lame apologies afterwards. Stores like these will never make an honest effort to protect customer data until their own carelessness starts impacting their bottom line. Until then, they will rely upon apologies and cheap fixes. I cannot do business with a store that can't be trusted. If you plan on shopping here, I suggest you use cash. read more

I went in to buy a washer/dryer. After waiting for 15 minutes I finally found a guy but he was in a hurry so only got one question in. There was another employee (a redhead male,) hiding from customers. He would come in the department see if anyone was there and then run the other way until he thought you had gone. After waiting another 5 minutes, I watched three employees hold a conversation about their personal lives and still no one asked did we need help. I went to the front and asked for the Manager of the department and was told to look for her in the showroom. (Usually the Manager would come to you especially if you had complaints.) She was lazier than them all. (Still didn't get off her behind and was a waste of breathe) so I took my money to Loews where they have customer service skills. read more

Buyer BEWARE. Against my better judgement I went to Home Depot to purchase a TV stand/w a fireplace. The customer service female was very helpful and said that it would be assembled for us. We patiently waited 3 weeks and went to pick it up....it was not assembled and the guys who loaded it on our truck said "they do not assemble".....so who lied? When we first arrived we were kindly greeted by one employee, and were asked if we needed assistance by another employee in the paint department . We made our paint selections and went up to get them mixed. The person that helped us didn't even bother to talk to us, nor did he even make eye contact. However, he could carry on a loud conversation with a coworker the majority of that time. There was a time that we were receiving wonderful customer service at every visit. I'm extremely disappointed in how we were treated, and can only hope he won't last long. I just think this is one time we got a dud. read more

We're here for Firefly, and this Home Depot has made our festival experience exponentially better. The staff has been friendly, attentive and kind, and has helped us find anything we need. They've been well stocked with everything we've searched for, and the store has remained clean and organized throughout the weekend. In addition, they've generously allowed festival goers to use their facilities, cool down in the store, and get water from the garden center. Since Firefly seems to be in the business of depriving people of adequate water sources, Home Depot has been a life saver in 85-90 degree heat. I already liked HD a lot, but this has made me love them. THANK YOU HOME DEPOT! read more

I don't regularly shop Home Depot but get tired of going to the "other" home improvement store all the time. Went shopping for a bath exhaust fan, found one with the features I wanted. Staff was friendly, offered assistance, no complaints there. Got home, open the box.... pieces missing, and the cover wasn't even for the one in the box! Oh, I forgot the best part.... it was used!! There was paint on the cover, and it was dirty!! The box was taped shut like the other 4 on the shelf... lesson learned, open and check first. read more

It is so discouraging going into Home Depot to place an order because no one seems to know what they are doing. One employee was disgruntled about us wanting to place an order, and told us she would get someone else to do the order, and 20 minutes later neither she, nor anyone else returned. We returned a few days later to place a different order for flooring - this employee had no idea how to calculate the square footage of the rooms that we needed the flooring for, then figure out how much product we would need to buy. She also did not explain that this was not something typically stocked in this Home Depot and it would have to be picked up then delivered. After waiting several days past the day she told us we would hear from the store, I called only to find out no one seemed to know about our order and it wasn't in the store. The supervisor insisted we would have the flooring in two days at the latest. Never heard back from them. We called the store again, and spoke to someone else who said they would be picking the flooring up at the end of the week. No one bothered to call and let us know of the change, we took time off to sit around and wait for the delivery for nothing. TERRIBLE customer service. read more
