I've seen multiple chiropractors in area and I love this office so much. The kindest couple run it together and gives such great care each visit. Never rushed. Some places I felt like they would rush my appt to fit more people in. Even when they are busy (weekends) they don't rush with my son and I. They are both so good with kids and my son loves going here. A little play area for him when I'm getting adjusted or waiting our turn is such a good distraction. Getting in and is a breeze. I myself & my daughter used to attend Grit City Chiropractic (Dr. Mackenzie) and we had our accounts settled (at least that's I was told) Over a year later I'm getting a bill? Ridiculous. I have not set foot inside any HARBOR LIFE CHIROPRACTIC and live nowhere near them to even have it an option if I wanted it to be. I had even received a call saying I had credit on my account months ago, so now magically I have a BILL? Extremely unprofessional & as I said before I ended my time with Dr. Mackenzie just for home reasons & this has made me 100% untrusting of any chiropractors, I do NOT recommend To be specific, Harbor life has requested I post to this page as when I searched for Harbor Life Fircrest nothing was found, Dr. Mackenzie was WONDERFUL herself and more should be like her. Dr Bo, Dr Jamie, & Dr Nolan are incredible medical professionals. I cannot tell you how many times I have come in there hunched over to one side and walked out with virtually zero pain. This is coming from someone with a long history of back issues, including surgery. If you follow their advice and therapy schedule, you will get healthier and feel better. Bonus review for our favorite masseuse Linnea, she's amazing! They are all so kind and have made me and my entire family feel especially safe throughout COVID with all of the precautions they take. My family and I are beyond excited to have found Harbor Life Chiro! The staff is super friendly; helped me get appointments for my husband, me and my 5 kids with ease and patience. Dr Bo and Jamie are incredible. Warm, welcoming, kind, good listeners and I really appreciate the ways they take time to explain medical stuff to my little kids and make them comfortable before their adjustments. My 3 year old cried when it was time to leave, which says a lot ;) This is all not to mention how amazing we feel after our adjustments! I struggle with headaches and had thyroid cancer so with that comes lots of stiffness, etc... This industry of Chiropractic medicine has always been challenged with a lack of professionalism but the entire medical industry needs to abide by the mask mandate if we are to be successful overcoming Covid. I have been a patient of Bo & Jamie for over 7 years. I have always been a fierce supporter both personally and professionally because their beliefs & philosophies aligned with mine- and I continued to support them even after moving a 40-45-minute drive one way to be adjusted. They have always been both a walk-in & appointment clinic. The care was good. Last Wednesday (which is a normal day for me to get adjusted). I called ahead to get an adjustment and was told that Bo had taken his son to lunch and would be back in about 3 hours. I had a brief conversation with the receptionist asking questions to determine my options to get adjusted. After running through my schedule, I called back to confirm when Bo would be back in the office. I determined that waiting around for approximately 2.5 hours was my best option, albeit frustrating. I walked in and Bo was sitting at the desk. He said: "Hi Nina, how's it going?" I very calmly said: "Well honestly, I'm a little frustrated trying to keep up with the ever-changing hours of availability." I no more got those words out when Bo began his verbal assault complete with raising his voice and posturing body language on me saying things like: After everything we are going through and everything, I have done for you I cannot believe you would say this. He called me selfish, self-centered, and entitled. He went on making excuses for how busy he is and how hard life is and how rude I am and how his staff does not deserve to be subjected to my behavior. I just looked at him in shock & disbelief. Then I said, "well, you asked me how I was, and this is your response to me"? Then he started in again with his verbal assaults. Then he refused to adjust me because of MY behavior.... (WHAT?) His words peppered my heart like shrapnel from a landmine. I have been self-employed for over 26 years and have over 300 clients. I would NEVER dream of speaking to any of my clients in this manner, no matter how much stress I had in my life or what I was facing- and trust me I have had some stuff in those 26 years. Without my clients, I have no business! They went to a membership only plan, so it does not matter if they are available to adjust you or not, they still get paid! Their website does not even show accurate, up to date hours of operation unless it has been recently changed. They in fact do have the ability to mass-communicate via text to all their patients because they do send out announcements when they have massage openings they are trying to fill or any other information they deem appropriate to share- just not last-minute changes in hours of operation??? I work out intensely 4-6 days a week and like to get adjusted at least once a week, many times twice a week-so I am a VERY regular patient. When my husband called to cancel my membership after me being traumatized by the verbal assault from Bo, the most appropriate response from Bo would have been an apology. Instead, Bo used the sociopath response of: "we will pray for you." How nauseating is that! How would I EVER feel safe to be touched/adjusted after being verbally assaulted? The answer is a resounding: NEVER! This is an incredibly sad ending. read more

My rib was out from something I did. It hurt to breath. It felt like my rib was poking my lung everytime I breathed. I tried stretching, advil, and resting for 3 weeks. No change, so I thought I would give this place a shot. I was 95 percent better the next day after the doctor popped my rib back into place. I was 100 percent better after 2 or 3 days. I recommend this place big time, they got me in last second also, right before a long drive, made my vacation because they adjusted me before the trip. read more

I was absolutely trembling like a leaf to have to come in here. All my life I got messages from my surroundings that told me coming to the chiropractor is the last you want to do. After all, I'm in my early 40's, why would I need it if I'm in general good health? However, my body has been signaling me for quite some time that it was in need of repair. One leg seemed to be longer than the other, which put a lot of pressure on my hip. Tightness in my right shoulder blade that never seemed to go away. At times it would become "frozen". Just so tense I could barely move it. My neck was slowly getting to the the point that I couldn't turn it all the way. I blamed all these things on genetics, stress, and just getting old. One day, I walked into a pharmacy and got a free exam just for the fun of it. Without any x-rays the doctor informed me I was out of alignment. I was curious, but I put it on the back burner as one of those things, I'd get around to "someday". Meanwhile in a few months time my symptoms were getting worse. That slight hip problem was not able to move without pain after a casual bike ride, my neck curiously was having even less movement than before, and no matter how many massages I got, my shoulder blade was like a brick. So, I reluctantly made the appointment. I was afraid to even admit to my s.o. that I was going. He thought I was foolish, but I rebuffed his comments and went anyway. Harbor Life Chiropractor is the nicest office. Their receptionist is amazing. She is so patient and kind. Then I got to see Dr. Jaime. I told her I was nervous about this whole ordeal. She reassured me that I indeed made a wise decision to come in, and we started to take the x-rays. What I experienced seeing my bones up on the screen was quite traumatic for me. For there on the screen, showed what was hidden from my eyes. All those symptoms were there in how my bones were tilted and curved and not sitting where they should be. I was looking at why I had been suffering all this time. Somehow it felt like the x-ray was showing the history of all the wear and tear of my experiences through the decades that I've been alive. It was a lot to take in. After Dr. Jaime explained what she was seeing during my first and second visit, she thoroughly explained the plan of action. I have to say I felt a lot better even just after my first adjustment. I had regained my ability to turn my neck!!! That was huge! And my spine felt more limber. My s.o. is now saying he is sorry he doubted my decision to be seen, and is happy to see me in less pain. Which goes to show, just follow your instincts! Your body knows what it needs best to be well again. I still have a lot of adjustments to go before I feel my body is where it should be, but I want to encourage anyone who might be having doubts or isn't sure where to begin to come here. The service is great, the views are beautiful, and you will feel so much better about life in general afterward. read more

Bo first took a bogus "X-ray" against a wall without any grid or scale to measure against. Then he proceeded to adjust my back with a pop and a snap I nearly passed out from. All the time ignoring what I was trying to explain to him about my motorcycle accident and how my back did not feel right since. On the 2nd visit he had me lay on a table with a rotating cam that rolled up on my vertebrae and pushed against the spine directly at the spot where I explained to him the pain was. The next day I saw an orthopedic Dr. specializing in back issues who took an actual legitimate X-ray that revealed I had both vertical and horizontal cracks in my T7. I would Not recommend dr. bo or HLC. read more

Great help for my daughter but I don't understand why the entire staff wasn't wearing masks or cleaning the patient tables after each visit. It's my understanding that all business especially one that is a medical provider follow local department of health and CDC guidelines. I am confident this clinic would have provided great care, and as a new mom I was very excited to see Dr. Jamie due to her focus and expertise in postpartum and pediatric chiropractic care. Unfortunately I will not get to experience the clinic due to the employees and doctors of the clinic were not following either the CDC guidelines or the state mandate for wearing masks. My husband and myself both work in healthcare- and this isn't about personal beliefs. Its about caring for others and doing whatever is needed to help protect the people you are caring for. They weren't wearing masks, didn't have any near them or made any attempt to cover up when I walked in (clearly wearing my mask). I also have a 5 month at home, and won't risk exposure, especially when it is so clear that they believe their personal "rights" (or whatever their explanation may be) is so much more important then my or my families health. read more

I was with a very good friend of mine in Target and she introduced me to Dr. Bo when we ran into him. She raved about how he has helped her. I have been to a massage therapist and a PT for about 2 months with no improvement. My injury happened a year ago and I just accepted the pain would be permanent. So I thought...ok, I'll try this if my friend has had success. Dr. Jaime is amazing! I had doubts...2 months worth of doubts but the first thing Dr. Jaime did was an x-ray. Imagine....a Dr. actually showing you your starting point and explaining the course of action! I've only had 4 appointments and in that short of time I have had more relief than in 2 months of physical therapy. If you have injured your neck or shoulder, as I had, and your GP gives you a choice of PT, Chiropractor or massage...THIS is the choice to make!! I highly recommend! read more
