Windswept! This Rockport shopping center is along Business 35, the main drag in this town. It's…read moresituated in front of the Super Wal-Mart, and has tenants such as Game Stop, Great Clips, Little Caesar's Pizza, and more. Parking has always been a challenge at this strip center. It's got a shallow lot that makes things cramped. There's lots of windswept oaks in the parking lot, which provide ample shade, but detracts from the number of spots available. It's hard to see what's going on in this shopping center, because of all the trees! It's nice that this shopping center blocks the view of the Super Wal-Mart. You have to drive right by this place to get there, which can sometimes make things hazardous with all the Wal-Mart customers barreling through here. Oh the irony that this place is called "Windswept Plaza" It seems that this place got rather hard hit by heavy winds during Hurricane Harvey. I think they lost part of the roof, and many of the businesses have been closed for an extended period of time. A few of the windswept oak trees got swept away by the wind. The last space on the end has had a drive-thru in the past. All of the tenants in here are chains. There's not a single local business in here.

Not accessible via wheelchair or stroller, unfortunately. I adore little art shops like this one! So glad I popped inside on a whim. They've got a variety of art from local artists, working in diverse styles. Saw a few interesting pieces and took home a lovely wooden wall hanging from an Austin artist. Don't miss the cookies at the check-out counter (vegan and gluten-free and delicious). The London Fog was yummy (I'm a fan of the drink but it's a cookie flavor I've never encountered). Owner (Danya) was so sweet and welcoming. She gave my daughter a sticker (they're not free) so I really appreciated that. Now, I do need to mention that you've got to climb some stairs to enter. So unfortunately it's not accessible to folks in wheelchairs or anyone looking to bring their baby stroller. I believe owners are trying to rectify this -- it's quite an endeavor so don't hold it against them. If you have a stroller, I recommend leaving it outside and just carrying your kid (don't let them run free if they're handsy -- lots of fragile and breakable stuff in here). You can also carry the stroller up the stairs (the owner even offered to help us do this but it was easier to just leave it). We left our wagon stroller outside and watched my 3.5-year-old closely while I carried my 22-month-old. Worked out just fine.

I'd say you could go crazy in here if you are really in to Fiesta. A very well organized and clean place. Very nice owner and employee that works twice a week. Enjoyed re-visiting and great to see it surviving.

Spoke to a useless manager who said if I come in store they might be able to help I mended they specialize in vacation memorabilia and I obviously don't live there was then told bye and hung up on.

This strip shopping center lies along Business 35, the main street in Rockport. It sits in front of…read morethe Super Wal-Mart, and has a bunch of national chains. It's home to one of the better liquor stores in Rockport, WB Liquor. There's also an AT&T in there, which looks nice. The strip center has a bunch of oak trees out in front of the place, which takes up a lot of places where there'd usually be parking, so it's tough to get your car in there. The trees also block the view from the roadway, so it's difficult to make out the signs on the side of the building. The shopping center is one of the newer ones in Rockport, and it looks nice. The parking lot, although tiny is picked up, and in good condition. The lot is well lit, and I feel safe in there.
