(Just being honest)…read more But I decided to see what their coffee machines were like and to see if they had public restrooms. So I pumped some gas and then headed inside the store. A staff member was cleaning o e of the two restrooms and opens the unused one for me. (They are locked and ordinarily you have to have the cashier buzz you in.) She was really nice by the way. I was blown away that there are a variety of coffee choices. You can even create an iced coffee. The coffee station offered syrup pumps; they were practically empty but I still appreciate that they provide these. They also have the international coffee creamer flavors of hazelnut and Carmel macchiato. They have half and half and milk available. There were even little STOK espresso shots you can pour into your coffee. As I was taking a photo of the coffee station, the cashier was there by me to get something from under the counter. I complimented the coffee station and we spoke a few minutes. Very nice cashier as well. I chose the Machu Picchu reserve and I added a few caramel macchiato creamers to it. It was delicious. I appreciate the options at the coffee station. So if you need to use a clean restroom and get some gas, come here and try the coffee. It's worth the $2.19.

I went to the cashier to pay for the gasoline for Pump #7. While making my payment, I asked the male cashier if I could receive my receipt immediately rather than having to wait until after I finished pumping the gas. The cashier handed me the receipt. From that moment, for reasons I still do not understand, he suddenly became angry and began saying to me in an aggressive tone: "This is America. This is a place you can trust. This is America. America!" He continued saying this to me as though he was trying to pick a fight with me. I felt that something was very strange about his behavior, so I did not respond to his comments. Instead, I simply turned around and walked away. Even after I turned around and was walking out, he continued making the same comments toward me without hesitation. His remarks were extremely offensive and appeared to be racially motivated. At that moment, I felt that if I reacted to him, the situation could become much more serious, so I chose to leave without saying anything. I sincerely ask the management of this gas station to review and check the surveillance camera footage from this incident. I cannot help but feel that he treated me this way because I am Asian. I apologize, but I want to make one thing very clear: I have been living in the United States for 38 years, and I am an American citizen. As with many stations, the lowest advertised price is with cash vs. credit card, to DH carries some extra cash to be able to take advantage of this situation. They don't have the most pumps, or the best ambient landscaping, but it is a convenient location near Seaward. We've never experienced any issues with the quality of the gas, so that's another plus.

The only bad part is that there was a transient woman shouting across the street. I honestly didn't listen to what she was shouting about because she was making any sense. Then while I was pumping gas a man walked up to me and asked if I would buy his toolbox or tools off of him. I told him I wasn't interested and the man at the pump next to me told the man to try the pawn shop but the man said the pawn shop would only give him $10. So there's that but at least I got my gas and was able to pay via contactless payment.
