It also took 7.5 hours for Dr Campbell to review the suggestions from Dr Abram's ... very disappointed since I spoke with the office staff (Debbie)relaying our dire need for this script in order to get new glasses. I asked for the script to be faxed to me, of course they said "I'll fax it right now".....of course that never happened. So long story short if you want empathetic, caring, sympathetic and most of all ethical feelings/behavior from a doctor do not repeat do not use "these people". Just for the record I am in healthcare and this is not how you should treat people. You're just a NUMBER with Dr Campbell. So SAD!

Stopped here out of curiosity and convenience and was immediately impressed with Dr. George Hurwitz's professionalism and concern for my sight conditions. Updated prescription and quick turnaround with new lenses with no pressure to update my somewhat expensive frames that had already served me well for a few years. A couple years later Dr. Hurwitz referred to their LASIK surgeon in Sarasota to correct an ongoing problem which has also been beneficial.

I got right in, although I had to travel to Venice for that first appointment. I called at 10:00 am; I was seen around noon. Both the staff at Venice and at the Port Charlotte office (2 follow up visits) were fantastic. All 3 times I saw Dr. Niffenegger and he is very professional, very thorough, and very personable. Thankfully, my eye issue is resolved, but I would not hesitate to contact them again, and I highly recommend them!
