They did not get to my vehicle until Friday morning even though they received it at end of day Wednesday and were in possession for over 24 hours. Which is disappointing but most disappointing was charging $25 for new windshield wipers which is reasonable. But $36.75 for EACH wiper to be installed is outrageous service. Will definitely be going to different automotive repair shops and take 5 for oil changes and windshield wipers replacements and at least they will get both done within a 24 hour window of possession of my vehicle unlike this business sadly.

The professionalism was spot on. The next morning he called me at 9am to let me know my car was ALREADY available for pickup. When I picked it up, I know he stayed late into the night and arrived early to get the job done. Maintenance comes at a cost, however, it was MORE THAN fair. And the time - impeccable. On July 8th 2023 I paid him so that's when this whole thing started. Told Everett I wanted my air conditioning fixed, and that I was almost 70 and had been taken advantage of by Pitt Stop on KIngs Highway and needed someone I could trust and I wanted it done right with OEM PARTS so after 3 days I got it back, was so excited!! Never blew real cold and I let him know. He said drive it a little more. I did and a few days later started blowing hot air again. Took it back to Everett and 2 days later he told me to come in. He said he wasn't sure what was wrong but it was most likely the computer. I asked how much that might be and he said "the last one I did was $1700" I was blown away and I told him I was taking my car. Now mind you I had already paid him $1500 for my air that doesn't work!! It's a Chevy Sonic so I took it to Chevy because I was losing trust in Everett and I wanted the straight scoop. Within 35 minutes they had diagnosed the problem, it was the compressor and my mechanic had put in a cheap Chinese compressor. I told them to fix the car. 2 hours later it was ready with a GM compressor. I knew right then that Everett had screwed me. He had to have known what the problem was because he had just fixed the a/c so he had to check the a/c out first before thinking it was the computer. He knew and wanted more of my money thus the computer. He had to have thought that I would just let him fix it. I didn't. Went to his shop and told him what Chevy said. I asked for my money back. He said I had to have brought it to him to fix so he couldn't give me my money back. (I can't imagine taking it back to him when he cheaped the parts which was the problem) We argued for a bit and he asked what would make me happy. I said $1000 and I'll be happy. He said he couldn't authorize that himself and he would call me in a couple of days. I thought he owned the place, he's s the only one ever there. Never heard from him for 2 weeks so I sent him a text and have never heard from him again. This is definitely not the kind of mechanic I was looking for. And I'm sure you aren't either. He somehow managed to make it so my glove box doesnt sit flush anymore, gauges in my dash, my o sh*t handles all cut up, left parts out from behind my dash. Now it has to be redone completely. And somehow was mad when I wouldnt pay him!!! Does not carry business Insurance. So now we have to go to small claims for inside my truck. WHAT A NIGHTMARE. I was hoping it would be a simple r & r with a nominal cost in parts. With that in mind, I went to my local tire kingdom for a diagnosis... As I walked to the door, a worker there held it open. Chivalry is not dead! I was immediately greeted and asked what they could do for me today. I explained the situation and handed them the keys! After the mechanic drove my truck around for a bit, he was able to hear and feel what I was talking about. He could see a couple things right away. I was asked into the bay so he could show me a couple of things. Cool. Now, let's put it up! I chose to wait in the office... I didn't wait long, though. My presence was once again requested so to the bay I went. The news was not good. The differential needs to be replaced. There are other minor repairs needed, but none as consequential as that rear end! Unfortunately, they do not do repairs that don't pertain to tires. This was a very satisfying experience! I like going to the smaller sized local neighborhood businesses. This one here has always treated me as an individual. I have never felt as if I was being talked down to for being female or any other antiquated reason. These mechanics are polite, very courteous, and extraordinarily communicative! Any questions were answered in detail to assure my understanding. I didn't expect such a formal inspection just to identify a problem that I felt, not necessarily a noise! Even though a repair will not benefit them, they followed through! Wow! I was very impressed!! In the end, I was given a print out of the inspection and the repairs that are needed. We spoke for another minute as I prepared to leave. One walked me to the truck, which was good because I remembered another question I had. Again, I was offered a response based on the question, not based on me as a female. It is so refreshing to enter a place of business knowing that I will be well-received! I won't support a place where I am not made to feel as an individual. I'm not a number, I'm not a wallet. I will be coming here for my new tire and maintenance needs!! Thank you for such stellar treatment and accurate diagnoses!! Your team made the difference!
