I came here to grab my shotglass. The staff were really nice and I'm glad they spoke enough English to assist me in ordering. I am working on learning basic Polish phrases though. We were in town for St. Paddys day weekend and had forgotten the fact that it may be busy. We checked online for reservations but it said it was fully booked for weeks. We called. They said they no longer accept reservations by phone. They advised to show-up and ask in person. We did. Of course, parking was a nightmare on a Sunday afternoon. We had to park about 2 miles away. We also had our dogs. The main reason we wanted to come here is because this location was the only HRC that had a "Dog Menu!" So we beared the headache and arrived in person and my husband was seated right away with the dogs, outside in the covered awning. It was cramped and a very small bistro table but they had a heater next to us. My husband ordered for us. Of what we tried, the bedtime part was the wings. I ordered the Filet but it was not a Filet cut! I was pretty miffed but I was hungry from all the walking so I kept it. It was an awful steak so the dogs were extra spoiled that day. We ordered the Duck from the dog menu and they enjoyed it a lot. The waitress brought it out in dog bowls and was happy to serve them. :) We were overall disappointed with the quality of food for the price...but the service was excellent and the dogs enjoyed their meal. And we enjoyed the desert and southwest eggrolls. read more

One of the smaller Hard Rock Cafes and just as busy. However, the team as a whole works wonderfully in the crowded yet fast paced environment. Service was great and customer oriented at every angle. Ordered the Baby Back Ribs, Nachos, Wings, and Legendary Burger. Got seasonal coffee with alcohol drinks and soda. We were too stuffed and had no room for dessert. Located in Old Town Krakow and directly next to the basilica. Easy to find and they were not taking reservations when we went. First come, first serve - so could be a bit of a wait depending on the time you arrive. Gift shop had some cool take aways but as always is user preference - so if in area recommend. read more

Our family has made it a tradition to visit the Hard Rock Cafe in each city we visit as we collect the pins. The Hard Rock in Krakow has a great location right in the heart of the main town square right next to St Mary's cathedral. The building looks newly refurbished and has many great views of the square from several different levels. Stop in for lunch, dinner or drinks. You won't be disappointed! read more

Hard Rock seems to be everywhere when you are out in any country and if you are a collector of those shirts you can buy it here. I didn't come here to eat but just went to see how it was. The service is helpful and it was nice, not every Europe country is rude and mean. Right next to a church that rings bells I believe every hour. If you want to grab a bite to eat they do sell food here but I still haven't eaten at any of the hard rocks in Europe. read more

The service was great, the food came fast and the servers were very nice. The food on the other hand was really something. The drinks, mainly the purple haze drink, were spectacular. The "red, white, and you" special hot dog trio was tasty but the hot dog was almost not existent (photo attached). The All-American Burgers (photo attached) were a bit dry but overall tasty- maybe a bit overcooked on the inside. The "barbecue bacon burger" we ordered was requested to be medium-well but came still moo-ing. It appeared to have been cooked on the outside only for the look of cooked meat (photo attached). Not sure if we would come back for the food but would certainly come back for the service and ambiance. When we told the staff about the undercooked food they immediately sent a manager and she offered another burger, which we kindly declined since we'd already eaten. She took the plate to the back to show the cook and to ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else. They also took the undercooked burger off out total bill. read more

I have seen many :) from Cairo to Krakow, and in London, Rome and Copenhagen. Here it is one more in our city- I like the famous people gadgets though and their autographs... Menu is good for one on the trip and visiting or when you are stopping somewhere for some break- before or after seeing places in one city. One group is leaving...your group is taking cutlery and going to the buffet- all prepaid :) Nice place for drinks too. Individually you might encounter queues sometimes. read more

OMG! Really? Sat out in the patio, because we didn't really want to wait the 45-min we were told it would take to be seated. Anyway it too almost 45 minutes just to have someone acknowledge our existence and then when the did finally take our orders (we ordered drinks and food all together), it took another 20 min to get two of the six (three kids drinks and three alcohol drinks), another five to bring the third alcohol drink and we were still waiting for the kids drinks when I started this review! We have been waiting for over an hour and my 6-yr old grandson just asked if this place even knows how to make chocolate milk! We haven't got our food, but I anticipate it's going to be a VERY LONG WAIT! I have visited several Hard Rock Cafes in both Europe and the USA and this is by far the worse service yet! I did give them three stars because when we did finally get our food, it was delicious. Too bad the service couldn't be just as great. read more

We were in Krakow and I had to make a merchandise stop here and my friend said why didn't we just have dinner? I said sure-We were seated immediately-it was around 5P and the place was beginning to fill up. We were given menus. Water came to the table and my friend ordered a diet coke and I got sparkling water. My friend ordered a meatless salad and I got the bacon cheeseburger medium well which came with a small vat of french fries and mayo. Both of our meals were delicious and our waitress was attentive and accommodating. The restroom was well maintained. I would recommend and return. Located in the heart of the old town square ! Souvenir shop has minimal variety but is satisfying enough to find to bring back home. The space is the restaurant is very tight and confined. Not much to view of pictures or memorabilia on the wall because there's no walking space. You sit close enough to easily hear the next table's conversation. Try the salmon entree and the spinach dip as appetizer. I recommend the Mango Tango as far as non alcohol drinks. Average Hard Cafe with good service. read more

I'd had a craving for some real (read: not fast food) burger for a while and decided to check out Hard Rock Café in Krakow hoping to find one there. Happily I did! The burgers tasted very authentic - we tried The Big Cheeseburger and Hickory Barbecue Bacon Cheeseburger and both were very good (definitely not the best burgers I've had but considering the fact that we were not in the US - I'd say they were very good indeed) and that goes for the meat, the bun as well as all the trimmings; the fries on the other hand were rather average. The restaurant is in a very nice location - right on the historic Main Square - you can't get any more central than this... At the same time, inside, there's a distinct American neighborhood bar & grill feel, which adds to authenticity of the place. The menu selection is, again, pretty typical for American neighborhood bar & grill (think Applebee's / Red Robin, etc.). When I'm back, I plan on trying other entrees which looked really good (e.g. fajitas). Now that we're done with the good, let's look at the bad... First of all, the service was typical Polish, which is quite different from what one may expect in a similar restaurant anywhere back in the US (I hoped that I'd get nicely surprised for a change but no dice...) That means they don't check on you to see if you need a drink refill (or anything else for that matter... such as check) and it's extremely difficult to get the wait staff's attention (as if they were making the point to walk around looking away from their tables). Secondly - our dinner took FOREVER. There were just two of us and we went on Saturday night (around 9:15pm) not expecting big crowds. It took over 30 minutes to get a table (and not without some issues) even though it wasn't that crowded, then over 45 minutes to get our food and finally another 20+ minutes to get the waitress to come over and get us the check so that we could pay and leave. Altogether almost a 2-hour affair to have a burger... Finally - a couple of other minor issues were relatively high prices and rather smelly bathrooms. Oh, and one more, the only food related complaint: extremely poor selection of milkshakes. They offer vanilla and chocolate only... where's strawberry??? I don't know of any restaurant of this type that doesn't offer at least those three flavors (and preferably more). I hope that maybe in the summer they have some seasonal fruit flavors... Overall - if you're a homesick expat craving some real burgers or a local who wants to experience some taste of America in the middle of Krakow then I can certainly recommend the place. Just expect the typical Polish service and don't plan on being in & out quickly. read more

We just came from Prague, and ate HardRock there too. I liked this one better. The food was better. Prague was classic in the American way: Wood everything. This was more European in white and glass. Like a big iPhone. I had the SOB - very good. I'm not a big fan of Guacamole and didn't realize it was part of the burger- but it turned out good. The boy had the famous classic burger- he didn't complain at all- that's saying something. The wife had appetizers. She noticed the hotness of the sauce (typical) but since it was on the side no harm done. Still not the cheapest but not over the top. A group of us came here hoping they still serves food because it was pretty late. When we got there, the hostess told us to wait to so she can ask the kitchen if they're still open, and luckily for us, she said that if we were a second later, they would have been closed. We had 15 minutes from sitting down to order, which was okay because only 3 out of 6 of us wanted to actually eat. I got the fish and chips, and that was really good. My boyfriend and a friend both got the chicken Alfredo, which they both really enjoyed, much to the disdain of an Italian friend. Staff was friendly. The only problem we had was the drinks at the bar. They were terrible! But it was happy hour, and we were one of the only groups there ordering. This is a good place to go if you like to visit different hard rocks from around the world! My boyfriend collects the drumsticks, so we bought a pair, but unfortunately they're priced normally. Hard Rock is Hard Rock is Hard Rock...yes, it is. However, if you've sampled a few of them around the globe you will know they vary in price, service and setting depending on where you are. Hard Rock Krakow is situated in the main Market Square, in a prime location with fantastic views and I expected to be met with the pricing structure and queues experienced in other HRCs around the world that are in such prime locations. I could not have been more wrong. This is THE cheapest Hard Rock I have ever been in. Part of that was the exchange rate and part, I suspect, an artefact of the low cost of living in Poland but it was a very pleasant surprise. The fare is, well, standard fare and the memorabilia is in line with most of the restaurants in this chain. The service was more than adequate, though there was one nippy waiter - couldn't work out whether it was lost in translation or whether he really simply was just plain nippy. Would definitely go back again if in Krakow. read more
