Making an appointment was easy. I only had to wait a couple minutes after checking in to be seen. The office is very upscale and lovely. But most importantly, Dr. Lamarre seems like an amazing doctor. Both times she was caring and took her time with me. She seemed extremely knowledgable too. Best doctor that I've seen in a long time. I mentioned briefly during my appointment that I didnt have a dentist because my insurance changed. The next day she emailed me with a list of dentists that she personally knows and likes nearby. I cant believe she remembered that. Those personal touches are so appreciated. So far, I am SO impressed by her and her staff. You do have to register and pay with One Medical Group to see Dr. Lamarre, which originally annoyed me (I have to pay extra?!), but honestly it's been worth it. Their app is very useful and it's easy and fast to get in contact with them, no wait times, easy prescription refills, etc etc. So the little extra to join was worth it. Highly recommended.

She had me do blood work, which is done on the premises which is very convenient. After the meeting, she emails me as soon as the results come in from the lab and invites me to discuss the results. We discuss what my options were and recommended specialist I can see. She send me the referrals by email and any prescriptions I need are electronically sent it to either my pharmacy or express scripts (if I ask for mail delivery). Since I have diabetes, she's follow up and if I feel I need to see her anytime, she's readily available. I love the personalized approach I get from her.

Really recommend to not come here. The first issue is communication. It is nearly impossible to reach a live person. Most calls end up at a recording directing patients to the website, and the only reliable way I've found to get someone on the phone is sometimes through the billing office. For example i just tried to call twice because they mixed up my medication. It's 10:45am EST... full business working hours... and their answering machine said they will get back to me within 1 business day. The second issue is continuity of care. The office now seems to function as a revolving door of students and trainees. While I fully support medical education, it becomes frustrating when a different person handles every appointment and you have to repeat your entire medical history from scratch. Even more concerning, my patient information often appears to be incomplete or inaccurate despite multiple prior visits - again just this week completely mixed up dosages of medications I've been on for years, should clearly be on my sheet? On more than one occasion, I have received recommendations that seemed far more extreme than warranted for the issue being discussed. Follow-up is frequently promised but rarely happens. Never once getting a follow up call on outcome of test results. The biggest problem has been prescription management. I have been on the same medication for years and needed a routine refill. The prescription was not sent, which is something that has happened now multiple times. When I finally reached someone by phone, they proceeded to ask me (the patient) which medication and dosage I take because my chart apparently did not contain that information. Thankfully i obviously know what i take - but that should be confirmed and monitored by the doctor - after all that they sent in the wrong dosage to the pharmacy and doubled my daily medication. The lack of communication, poor recordkeeping, missed prescription requests, and inconsistent follow-up have made this practice difficult to trust with ongoing medical care.

Cons: Extremely difficult to obtain a copy of your MRI imaging on a CD. Getting a copy of your imaging shouldn't have to be such a Herculean task. Low resolution (fuzzy) imaging due to the weakness of the magnetic strength of the machine (0.6 Tesla). Doctors may actually prefer a 1.5 Tesla or 3.0 Tesla machine because it produces higher quality images. I do not recommend this MRI center due to the difficulty of obtaining a copy of the MRI CD. If you want your CD, DO NOT LEAVE THIS FACILITY WITHOUT A COPY OF YOUR CD IN YOUR HANDS. Vanessa the receptionist told me multiple times "we mailed it out" and it was never mailed. To get your MRI CD you have to fax a request in writing to Bill in their medical records department who is sequestered in God knows where. My requests in obtaining the MRI CD directly from the center were ignored. The hilarious thing is this center has actually blocked my phone number (only when my doctor called from a different number did they pick up the phone). The lack of customer service is appalling.
