Nice place, it's tucked in the basement of the building. Great staff and kept very clean. Check in process is super simple, simply use one of the two tablets in the waiting room with a valid drivers license and are information and your good to go.

Very limit hours. Hard reach by phone. Cold, impersonal, felt like a number. Will try other places.

When he showed me in to the collection room, I was very surprised that he was doing the needle stick himself; I had assumed that there was somebody working with him, things were moving so quickly. Interestingly, I had no sense of being rushed during my collection. Alex told me that this was a fairly new location for LabCorp; for me it was a home run: very convenient to my work, easy parking and a tech I'd seriously like to try and hire away from you guys... Nice job LabCorp; I'll definitely be back.

I went to do routine bloodwork on Friday, July 10, 2026 at or around 12:30PM. At 901 Stewart Ave,…read moreGarden City, NY , Suite 222. Upon arrival only one person was working. She did the paperwork and sent two people at a time to the inner room where she would then take the blood samples. When it was my turn, she was unable to pull the blood after several attempts. She asked and I explained that while I was fasting from food, I drank two or more glasses of water since waking. From years of experience I could tell she was not doing the procedure properly, when I tried to explain to her, which veins they normally pull the blood from, she tried for several minutes with no results. At this point she began to get frustrated and started using abusive language to me. She then proceeded to a different vein, but not before putting the bandaid on improperly, she put the bandaid vertically instead of horizontally, in doing so she was putting the adhesive portion of the bandaid on top of the open vein. I had this same thing done to me a few years back, which resulted in a nasty infection and swelling of my arm, so I quickly removed it and turned it crosswise. She then in mean and vicious way suggested I take back my scrip and go elsewhere. Also, before using the needle, on all three occasions she did not properly clean the area first, but barely gave a quick swipe with the swab. All and all it was a horrific experience, I would not wish on my worst enemy. And all this while the other patient listened in. This employee was totally untrained and unfit to deal with her assignment, and this is sooooo unfair to the customers, whose only fault was being there to give them our business. Having prayed to God for intervention, she was able to pull the blood on the third attempt and several minutes on each try, it was just horrible!

I did not know that this lab only runs lab work/diagnostics issued by participating Optum doctors…read more I brought my son in to get his annual bloodwork done this morning. They have a computer check in system which I completed but then stood to see a receptionist to give them his doctors script. The woman I spoke with told me that I give the lab technician the script. As I was walking back to the waiting area she added "just knock on the door right there and ask the technician to look at the script because he may not be able to run all the tests". I thought it was an office she was sending me to and did not realize it was the actual blood draw room where I was met with a nasty look as I knocked from the technician unaware he was with a patient. That was the only acknowledgment that was made so I returned to the waiting room where we sat for 20min. When we were finally called I went to hand the same technician the script and received the same look "I don't need that". I looked confused, "how will you know what tests to run if you don't take the script?" He said "it's in the computer". Now I was even more confused, "there couldn't be anything in the computer, his pediatrician didn't even know we were coming here today." Putting stickers on vials, he rolled his eyes "Dr. Doe". I said "no, Dr. Smith". He looked perturbed, like we wasted his time and dismissively said "we only do bloodwork for optum doctors, you need to go to a quest lab for that". I purposely went to speak with a live person when we got there to avoid any misunderstandings. The woman should of told me they did not take paper scripts for bloodwork only computer generated requests not mislead us saying he might not be able to run "some" of the tests. The technicians attitude was uncalled for and unprofessional. I would not recommend this lab to anyone.
