The place might not impress you upon walking in but the elderly lady who served and cooked the food was delightful. The food was freshly cooked and arrived at our table steaming hot. We should not have ordered so many dishes as the quantities served were more then we could eat in 3 meals for the 2 of us. There are not many restaurant choices in Delta Junction, and most have been pretty good, so is this one. 2nd trip to the area, drove by a dozen times and missed it, today it caught my eye, glad it did. Ordered take out, quickly prepared and later found that sesame chicken was better than a lot of other place, the quantity was larger than expected as well. This white rice was a surprise, most times its dry and bland, not here, the rice adds much to this this dish. I'm only here for the week, but will be back. read more

A diamond in the rough? Decent Chinese fare in Delta Junction - could it be? Like Lard Belly, we also got the fresh rolls and thought they were great and the sauce was good as well (and not too spicy); we were surprised with how fresh they were - actual spring mix lettuce, cucumbers, chicken, rice noodles, and carrots. Really surprised by how good these were! We got the kung-pao chicken and the general tso's chicken. Both were very large dishes and came with a (un)healthy portion of white rice. Both were really quite good. Back in Boston I'd give it 3 stars because there's a lot of competition for good Chinese. Given that it's the only place around Delta Junction, I give it 4 stars without hesitation. read more

Okay, I'll give it another star as the old lady is too darn cute to dismiss this restaurant so easily. A co-worker wanted to come here for some stir fry so I came and decided to try the pho as I didn't like the other two items I tried previously. I order the pho and the lady goes, "We have chikn noo noo soup I jus made, you like chikn noo noo soup?" Um, I said pho. "Chikn noo noo soup is very good for you, you want chikn noo noo soup that I jus made? I can make pho for you, but I just made chikn noo noo soup." Ah what the hell cute lady I would love me some chikn noo noo soup. It was indeed chicken noodle soup, and it was just like Vietnamese Gramma used to make. I also bought a bag of Anchor Point Coffee which gramma says was hand picked in Vietnam so it was steal at $15. Will come again as I didn't get a picture with her this last time. read more

Best Chinese Food North of the 64th Parallel Pretty good food at reasonable prices is a rarity in this part of the world and probably the "best value" restaurant in Delta. I ordered the Mongolian beef combination plate and had lots of leftovers due to the large portion. Not overly greasy or salty. Very sweet chef/owner and friendly atmosphere which made me briefly forget the -15°F outside. read more

We had such a good experience here! There were three of us here for work and just two nights to eat. A local friend recommended this sweet place and it did not disappoint. The owner does everything herself down to adding up your total without even looking at the menu because she knows it all by heart. We had the egg rolls, pot stickers, and crab Rangoon for appetizers and you could tell they were not a freezer staple, they we all rustic and stuffed full of veggies, meat, and the crab Rangoon was the best we had every had- so much crab meat the entrees were good sized and full of flavor! We had General Tsao's chicken and pad Thai. My co-worker got the beef fried rice with his meal and there were huge chunks of beef in the rice. We were there for an hour and 15 minutes total for our meal, but be aware that the owner is the waitress and the cook so be patient and kind. She was so nice and accommodating. We will definitely be back and recommend to friends passing through. Truly a Delta Junction staple. read more

My friends and I stumbled upon this place on our way to Donnelly Dome. The little lady who runs the place is as cute as the name of the restaurant. My friends and I are from NYC and she could not stop talking about her daughter who currently lives there. I really wish we had taken a picture with her because she was the cutest. I ordered the beef pho and while the flavors are not what I'm used to (I'm half Vietnamese), the beef was pretty tender and tasty. read more

If you are looking for a thorough colon cleansing, then go to the Wok. I order beef n veggies and it was served on rice surrounded by a lake of oil. Food was bland, atmosphere was dingy. My son ordered coconut shrimp and got a few shrimp served on soggy French fries. After eating here I was on the toilet for two days. read more
