This place was one of the few places open in town when we visited in March and it was very COVID friendly. It was essentially a drive through where you can pull up to the window and place your order, they gave you a buzzer to wait nearby and then you return to pick up your food. I ordered the AK burger, which came with a side of fries. Has bacon, egg, steak strips, beef patty, cheese, onion, lettuce. Fully loaded burger that just really hit the spot especially cause it was so cold outside. The fries were really crispy with a layer of batter on the outside and tasty all on their own. This is the place in Delta Junction for great tacos and chicken wings! Sadly, they've been cast out of their usual location and are currently working on a new location. Happily, I found one of their trucks in North Pole hiding out behind the Safeway a couple of weeks ago. Same great tacos! Same friendly smiles! Hopefully, Manuel will work out his new location and Delta Junction won't miss out on having great tacos and other yummy things like burgers and more. I had a breakfast burrito with an Americano, and this spot is a solid 4. I originally ordered a coffee, but the person working here seemed confused. The don't do drip coffee here, it's espresso-based only. Delta Junction is a food dessert. There is nothing good here, except The Fire. The Fire is really good. I'm glad Delta Junction has The Fire. If The Fire isn't open, I suggest you just continue your drive to Fairbanks to find something to eat. read more

The service was extremely slow. We specifically stopped on our road trip to try their famous award winning chicken wings which was honestly a disappointment. The honey sriracha flavor didn't have any sriracha in it. It just tasted sweet. Also tried the chicken parmesan wings which were quite ordinary. read more

For a food truck experience that is completely out of bounds. This is the place. We needed to get gas and asked the chaser were a good place for quick food was. He pointed to this food truck and said look no further. Welp, he was on point. I got the burrito and my buddy got the chimichanga, neither of us were disappointed at all. I think my only draw back was the price, however everything in Alaska seems to be super expensive. Either way, if I am driving that way again, I will 100 go there again. read more

The best burger I've had in Delta has been the mushroom Swiss burger at the fire! Perfect amount of mushrooms and melted cheese. The burgers are always cooked perfectly. Hi, I am Gavin, Food critic. I am visiting from Oregon and I am 11 years old. I just ate at "The Fire". The Fire is located in Delta Junction, Alaska. I ordered the Fire Tacos. Here is my report on what I ate: Presentation: The meal I ordered came with 2 tacos. You have a choice of meat, I chose ground beef. The tacos are topped with thin guacamole, an orange colored aioli, and cilantro. According to their menu it says, "Two FRIED flour tortillas loaded with nacho cheese, seasoned beef, lettuce, pico de gallo, shredded cheese, sour cream, guacamole, and chipotle sauce served with rice and beans." My order contained 3 tacos!! Taste: This meal is really good. Everything goes perfectly together, for the taco at least. Beans are also good. On top of the taco is melted cheese with fresh tomato. Now for the rice; my rice was hard and had little to no flavor. Everything else was really good. Rating: Overall, this meal is really good. If I had to rate my meal I would give it a 9/10. I was visiting Alaska from Atlanta and I was passing through Delta Junction and just about everything was closed, so I decided to eat the first thing I saw. I was blown away by the quality of food and the service. If I'm ever close to Delta Junction again I'll make a detour to eat here. read more

walked all the way over here just for it to be closed. there was a guy doing work inside but he didn't come to talk to us. not sure if they're closed for the season but says open everywhere on their website and on the truck says open 11-8 EVERYWHERE. but no service. disappointed because it looks like a great menu and we made a trip over. read more
