I arrived at the first drive thru to place an order at approximately 5:45 PM on 4/3/26. The car ahead of me didn't move and two more cars went through the second lane, placing orders and driving on to get their food. After waiting more minutes and the car ahead still didn't move, I reversed and went to the second window. THEN the car moved ahead, the worker told me on the intercom that she was sorry about that (she knew the length of my wait). I tried to order a large chocolate shake but was informed that the machine wasn't working. So, after placing my order for $22.31, I drove to pay for my order and notice that the same car was still at the cashier window. Waited and waited again, paid at 6:04 PM and then observed the same car receiving two large ice cream cones (extra large) while they waited for their main order. Waited and waited again to receive my order. NOT happy McDonalds. This was chat time for the employees. Customer service employees need a talking to from a district manager. This is not acceptable.

We'd both opt for a different side next time. To each our own though. Almost every small town along this stretch of I-80 has a pub & grill. The menus vary a little, but are very similar in a lot of aspects. The quality of service and the cooks make the biggest differences. The Chuckwagon hit five stars in some aspects of both. Work on those fries and the flavor of the chili (horribly bland) and this review would have been five stars. I'm going to emphasize this again.
