I arrived at the first drive thru to place an order at approximately 5:45 PM on 4/3/26. There was a car ahead of me and I noticed the car in the second lane pulled through to collect their order. The car ahead of me didn't move and two more cars went through the second lane, placing orders and driving on to get their food. After waiting more minutes and the car ahead still didn't move, I reversed and went to the second window. THEN the car moved ahead, the worker told me on the intercom that she was sorry about that (she knew the length of my wait). I tried to order a large chocolate shake but was informed that the machine wasn't working. So, after placing my order for $22.31, I drove to pay for my order and notice that the same car was still at the cashier window. Waited and waited again, paid at 6:04 PM and then observed the same car receiving two large ice cream cones (extra large) while they waited for their main order. Waited and waited again to receive my order. NOT happy McDonalds. This was chat time for the employees. Customer service employees need a talking to from a district manager. so me and my fiancé go to McDonald's for dinner n ordered a Big Mac and she ordered a quarter pounder, she starts to eat the burger bot thinking anything wrong den she tells me about the burger I preceded to turn my light on and sure enough the burger was way thicker then it should been and the burger was pink and ever like it might as well been attached to the cow still, I go back to the store and one of the workers tells me to calm down and didn't give me any other option besides to just remake the burger, and as I'm in the store not one manager or worker that heard me came to assist me it took 2 min in a empty store 4 works and no heavy drive thru traffic, McDonalds this is ridiculous and if my fiancé gets sick from this I'm seeking legal action, mind you we're trying for child as well read more

My food smelled like nunu someone definitely spat in my burger and my sprite had 6 pubes in it

I was just at Mcdonald's in Creston, Iowa on August 2nd 2024 and the employee at the window was very rude. Mcdonald's didn't close until midnight...and we didn't get in the drive thru till 11:30. She gave us salt packets and told us "salt your own fries we close soon" and we also had an online order and she says "yeah i know it's the only online order". Very very disrespectful. This restaurant could care less about the reviews they receive. They claim to open the front doors at 5:00 AM. I arrive at 5:30 AM and the doors are locked. They apparently don't need the business or the MONEY. They only care about the drive up. Best to go elsewhere to get better service and food. I am a stockholder and have given up on McDonalds. Their price has been headed down, and I plan to sell, as well as go elsewhere. read more

Out of the 20 times I've been there, 2 of them were at least OK, and that's a stretch. They are almost always slow, and when they aren't slow they are wrong, there is almost always something wrong with my order. The restaurant it's self is nice, very modern looking however kind of dull and depressing due to the lack of color. The food is good when the order is right and the food is prepared right. So overall, the food is good however I do not think that it's good enough to deal with all the problems that come with it. Does not live up to Los Pollos Hermanos standards. read more

What really should take 15 minutes to get though the ordering station to the drive though ends up taking up 45 minutes to an hour. Most of the food is always cold by the time you get it. It's really not worth it by the time you get it and it's cold and super soggy. I'd rather eat wet cardboard. read more

For the past 2 weeks, I've given this location a chance and same result each time. Was in line in the morning for 15 minutes and no one would take my order. I have had good and not the greatest experiences here. Usually they good made up for the bad or have made things right when mistakes have been made. I recently ordered on the mobile app and submitted my order when leaving the grocery store, a few minutes later when I pulled into the parking lot and put the lot # I was parked in and my food arrived shortly after, so that was a good experience. I decided to try the Sweet BBQ Bacon buttermilk chicken sandwich and it was really good, I also ordered fries and a coke, the fries were hot and crispy and the coke tasted good as well. I come here for breakfast and iced coffees several times a month and usually don't have any issues and get pretty good deals off of the McDonalds app. I once ordered an iced Carmel coffee and was handed a hot Carmel coffee, when I told her I ordered iced she told me to keep the hot one and the iced one was ready within a minute! One time I was using the app to order a bogo happy meal and the older gentleman employee said his scanner wasn't working and told me the full price, I told him I wanted the deal on the app and he just said he couldn't do the discount, I asked to speak to a manager (who was near by) all of a sudden the manager rushed over and took off one of the Happy Meals prices and apologized, good way to handle the situation. Some of the employees just don't know what to do and maybe just don't have enough experience. I have definitely seen them short staffed and thought that the managers on duty were doing all they could to keep things going the best they could, I even witnessed a couple employees getting into a fight before, so sometimes the entertainment alone is worth stopping in! You can't expect too much from a McDonalds, so I don't normally have the highest standards here! They have plenty of seating which can get filled up at their rush times and the parking lot can get full and the drive through be backed up, but hey it's a popular fast food establishment in a small town. One time we got a 4pc chicken nugget happy meal that had 6 nuggets! Jackpot! They have a red box outside too! read more

Terrible. Always mess up a special order not very "fast" often times they leave out things I have asked for
