Because of the incident the manager very kindly offered to give us a free item from the menu and so we both got the Cajun fries! The fries also were excellent and really flavorful! The rest stop cafeteria is very clean and well maintained. I'm glad we stopped here for an early lunch on our drive to see family for thanksgiving.

The sauce packets are behind the counter so I asked for a few of the Louisana Hot sauce ones. The pop machine is a communal one for all of the restaurants in the plazza. I filled my cup up and chose a seat. I was given two drums instead of what was pictured. I got mashed potatoes as my side. Those were good. The bisucuit tasted old. Chicken was okay. The bill was $14.97 for it all. They were out of pennies so $15.00 total.

The fries were good, and I ordered fried pickles. They were a little greasy but super good. The menu is also very fairly priced. For the trash I would get at 5 guys for just me, I was able to buy 2 combo meals The lady who took my order and money was super sweet. As far as ambiance goes, you can't actually go inside so there's only so much to see but for the most part, the outside of the building seems to be kept up relatively well. But the main thing to comment on is the food. The prices here are really great, especially for what you get, they don't skimp on portions. I had a burger, popcorn chicken, onion rings and French fries. Overall, the burger wasn't my favorite but I've had far worse and the popcorn chicken was fine but nothing to write home about. The fries and onion rings on the other hand were some of the best I've ever had! Not sure if I'll be in a huge rush to come back but if I find myself in the area again, I would definitely consider it for the sides alone!
