Mannnnn.... I remember eating here as a kid, some 30 years ago. I can't believe they were open on the 4th of July! SCORE! This is the last Hot n Now left in existence, BUT I've heard thru the grapevine that they're actually making a comeback and opening more locations! My mom lives here back in Sturgis again... When we would come visit my aunts and uncles, we would stop here, some 30+ years ago, and it's just as I remember it. Being from Reno Nevada, when I come visit my mom, I try NOT to eat here, because I try to stay away from carbs, but I had to give in after an internal 3 day battle. I always forget what I ordered from the last visit, because it's usually years apart. This time (and probably last) I ordered the "Big Hot" with fries. It was perfect and sloppy, just how I like it. The fries were good, and I ordered fried pickles. They were a little greasy but super good. The menu is also very fairly priced. For the trash I would get at 5 guys for just me, I was able to buy 2 combo meals The lady who took my order and money was super sweet. I don't remember what iit looks like inside, and come to think of it, I don't know if I've ever even been! I hope they DO open more! Was looking forward to having Hot N Now. It was now but it surely wasn't hot. It was the most disgusting mushroom Swiss burger I had ever seen in my life. My friend ordered an olive burger and she didn't know it came with cheese but evidently there's does. We go back thru the drive thru and they wanted her to just take the cheese off. They actually made her another one but said they won't remake the mushroom Swiss cause there wasn't anything wrong with it. Yeah there was IT WASNT HOT! The cheese was not even slightly melted like it would have been if the burger was hot. They surely don't live up to there name it should be Cold and Disgusting not Hot n Now! It's Hot n Now! Had a triple cheeseburger which was surprisingly good, fries were mediocre at best. Would not recommend the chicken pieces way sub par. Went a bit out of the way to come here on my way back from Illinois and I'd say it was worth stopping in for the most part! As far as ambiance goes, this place is literally just a drive thru so you're not going to be able to eat inside or anything. Bit unfortunate but there's plenty of parking around the area. Outside of the building is kept up nicely. As far as the service goes, the staff was super friendly and helpful and even suggested a really good sauce for me to try that I ended up loving. 10/10 service!!! Lastly, the food. I got a cheeseburger, fries and some onion rings and the sides were to die for, especially the fries. The burger on the other hand wasn't bad by any means, I finished it so that's gotta say something but it's not the most seasoned burger I've ever had or most high quality. I've been wanting to stop at the last Hot 'n Now and it did not disappoint. Upon arriving, there were 8 or 9 vehicles ahead of us. We were sure it would take awhile, but they are very efficient here. We were out of there within 15 minutes. Everything still tastes the same as it did back when this was a thriving burger chain. The fries are still nice and crispy. The ketchup, mustard and pickle combo on the double cheeseburger here just hits different than other burger chains. The prices were not bad considering the amount of food we purchased. I wish there were more of these around, but for now we will have to make the stop in Sturgis when we are nearby. read more

This place is really really solid. As a non midwesterner, i came across this gem on a cross country roadtrip and thank god i did. Come to find its the last one left in existence! This place is your typical fastfood burger joint but the ingredients just taste better than your burger king or McDonalds. Burger was good but the french fries were on another level. Drive--thru burger joint. Last in country, according to spouse. Excellent prices. Crispy fish sandwich with crisp lettuce. A bit thin on the fish but the flavor was nice to me. A large styrofoam cup for my water for 20 cents. The deep fried fresh mushrooms were delicious. Check person was very pleasant and suggested the ranch dressing dip for the mushroom. Sandwiches were wrapped in whitish paper like in the old days. Nice memory for me. A very nice experience as we drove 3.5 hours to visit this place. (Our choice). This is the last standing Hot'n Now in the state of Michigan. At their highest point they had about 150 locations scattered throughout the state back in the 90's. Brings me so many great memories. I had to go for the triple stacker with extra Pickle, it was fire! Exactly as I remembered it. Patties were grilled to perfection, fries were nice and crispy, insanely good! Wow.. Back in the 90s, these places were everywhere, apparently this is the last remaining location in the entire world. Located in Sturgis Michigan, the place does not show any signs of shutting down soon... Long line in the drive-through, but still relatively quick service. We were relatively put off by a couple of employees sitting in the parking lot smoking and spitting in full view of the customers,But we got over that and placed our order, and man where we happy. The burgers are really really tasty, the buns are soft but toasted, I strongly recommend this place if you're in the area, or even if you want to make a road trip to experience the last remaining hot 'n now in the world... I had a restaurant.com gift certificate and was told by the new owner of this burger joint that they don't accept them anymore. I proceeded to tell her that they are still active on the restaurant.com site and by not taking my certificate, it's false advertising. If you are a gm or especially an owner of a restaurant, you need to do everything in your power to have the customer leave happy and have them come back. Well, you lost a customer. We enjoy coming here for a quick, inexpensive bite. I wouldn't say their food is outstanding, but it hits the spot just the same. I only went because I heard that they were the last store of 150 that used to be open. I can see why the others closed. My burger patties were luke warm and the cheese was not melted at all. Traveled 2.5 hrs through the backroads of Amish country to get to this glorious and last standing Hot N Now. It was just as amazing as I'd remembered, and worth the scenic drive. Cheesy taters- on point. Fries- best you've ever had. Large strawberry milkshake- enough to put you into a diabetic coma, and suffer from a lactose overdose even if you're not lactose intolerant. We came about an hour out of our way for Hot'nNow. My husband grew up with this place having many locations, and now Sturgis is the last one. The cheeseburger is very similar to a McDonald's single cheese (which I happen to like). The uniqueness of Hot'nNow for me is really in the different fried treats. We had both cheese teasers and jalapeño poppers. Both were piping hot, full of gooey cheese, and wonderfully chopped ingredients. If you're going to drive out of your way to this place for a burger, make sure you get a variety of the fried side options. And if you don't like McDonald's single cheeseburgers, I would recommend you pass on the burger at Hot'nNow and explore the rest of their fairly extensive menu. Also to note, this is just a drive thru, so you won't have a table to eat at. If you roll up with your dogs with you, they have dog treats too! read more

Hot'n Now is a mandatory stop anytime we find ourselves in Sturgis. Brings back so many memories of childhood!
