    On 6/3/2026, at approximately 3:30 PM, my party and I visited your Sonic Drive-In location in…read moreHampton Cove with the intention of placing a dinner order. Utilizing the traditional stall ordering system, we initiated our request. Three out of the four individuals in our vehicle wished to place an order. Upon pressing the service button, a female attendant with a soft-spoken demeanor responded. I began to articulate our order, but after providing the details for only one of the intended three orders, communication ceased abruptly. Despite my attempts to inform the speaker that we had not completed our order, there was no audible response or acknowledgment for several seconds. After this period of silence, I pressed the service button a second time. On this occasion, a different female attendant, whose voice suggested an older individual, came over the speaker. When she inquired about our order, I explained that we had already begun placing it but had been unable to finalize it. It appeared there was a misunderstanding or a lack of record of our initial interaction. The attendant requested a moment to investigate, and I could hear her activities in the background, presumably attempting to locate our previously initiated order. She then returned to the speaker and asked us to repeat what we had ordered. I reiterated the initial portion of our order. Following this, an order appeared on the screen, and the attendant then prompted us for the remaining items. However, the order displayed on the screen was not only entirely incorrect based on what we had communicated but also reflected a cost that was double what we would have expected for the items placed. Throughout subsequent attempts to clarify and correct this discrepancy, it became increasingly apparent that the attendant was not accurately processing our information. Our efforts to resolve the issue were met with repeated assertions that no prior order had been placed, which was both frustrating and disheartening. The persistent denial of our initial interaction and the displayed incorrect order led to a significant escalation in the difficulty of the situation. Given the inability to rectify the order and the continued miscommunication, I ultimately requested that the entire transaction be canceled. Despite this clear instruction, the attendant responded by asking, "What else can I get for you?" I reiterated my request for cancellation, confirming our decision not to proceed with the order.

    yo my boss always has me and my 3 other coworkers come here almost everyday to get 4 large slushes…read morefrom 2pm-4pm because of the "happy hour" prices and every time we have an issue. usually it's because most of the workers don't want to put in the effort to add extra flavor ( which we pay for by the way) but today was the worst. We sat at the drive through ordering thing for about 10 minutes while 4 cars left the store and when I spike into the mic asking if I was going to be serviced no one answered. so we drove it to the window and was met with nothing but rude employees including the manager. we where there at 3:55 and even after telling them they we kept getting "happy hour is over" yeah....because yall took so long! and please don't be rude to pe like my boss.... She's just an older lady trying to get slushes but I would be surprised if she was afraid to come back because you all where unnecessarily rude. smh I'm giving yall a -5 star rating. Do better.
