Worst place for breakfast ever. The lady at the drive through window took my order and I had to wait over 5 minutes for her to come back. This was after I paid for the meal with my credit card. When she came back I wanted to just have her cancel the order but she insisted she could make the food quickly. She came back telling me the cook was no where to be found and when she brought the meal back another 5 minutes later, it was cold and absolutely not what I ordered! The biscuit was hard as a puck and like I said it wasn't the breakfast sandwich I ordered. She was trying to make the best out of a bad situation but honestly I can see why no one was in line. Bad food. I don't recommend anyone eating here. read more

The old advertising jingle was "Hurry on down to Hardee's.. where the burgers are charcoal broiled". I'm not sure of that right now, although I do recognize that the big corporation that owns Hardee's, also uses the Carl's Jr and that back 30 years ago the old Roy Roger's chain was swallowed up by this chain. I try really hard to avoid fast food meals, but since I was on the road with my very hungry brother and with COVID-19 restrictions, the Hardee's drive through seemed like a reasonable choice. Here were the pluses and minuses of our joint experience, of which the not-so-good, outweighed the positives. Not-So-Good The guy with the headset taking and delivering the orders seemed a bit uninspired. Both Scott and I commented on voice tone, attitude, and failure to wear a mask when in direct proximity to the customers. No napkins were provided. Handling dripping burgers without back-up is not a pleasant task, especially on the road. Fast Food has its nutritional and caloric down sides. Good Tasty burgers and fries and what I expect from a fast food burger joint. read more

Went to Hardee's this morning for 2 bacon egg sandwich and they were the worst looking sandwiches I have ever seen anywhere. There was obviously something wrong with to dough. It look inedible. Not much for breakfast open in Spencer early in the morning so I stopped at Hardee's. This place is dirty and the breakfast sandwich I had was terrible! The biscuit was hard and oily and I had a orange juice also that's it and it was $11.00. The tables weren't even clean and it's disgustingly dirty everywhere you look! I have now ordered food from here 4 days in a row. each time my order has been messed up. todays order was completely ignored and the guy on the headset only got the meal number in right. i asked for a frisco burger no tomato curly fries and a drink with no ice. i get a normal frisco burger with the tomato.... regular fries and a drink with ice and a BUG in it???? like what. after passing the bag back in and waiting another 5mins for the curly fries. i now have a cold frisco burger fresh curly fries and a drink with ice in it. i get home open the lid to the soda to remove the ice there is a tiny black bug swimming on the top of the drink... so dumped that out. i will not be eating here ever again. imagine ordering food to be completely ignored on what your wanting. side note if its 11:40am and nobody is ordering your food as i was the only person in the drive thru for 15mins you should probably hire new management. as something is clearly wrong with the current setup. and for giggles to see how many other people who will continue eating here during the 15mins i sat in the drive thru i watched a spider underneath the drive window chasing down a ant. his lunch was probably more enjoyable than mine. We had 2 five dollar boxes. Had our first Hardee's in Fort Dodge, but even though we ordered the same box there, this was much better. Hot and freshly made. Double patty burger, hot dog, fries, cookie and a drink. Cheap Eats! A bit noisy from the remodeling they were doing. read more

Its been a long time since i was here. Nice to see that the place is still where it was originally. Food is fast food and that's as good as it gets. What I like is the onion rings and/or the fries. The chocolate shakes aren't to bad either. This was always my place to go when I worked in the area. I still like it and the service is still as good as it was when they first opened. read more

Fast food you have to wait for. There service has really gone down hill. They do try, but it seems they are trying to serve sit down food on a fast food budget. They drive through is always "please pull ahead and we will bring it out". The food is good if you do not mind waiting. The low rating is due to the service not the quality of the food. read more

I went to the drive up window 4/1/2016 at 1:15 PM. The food was way to expensive for fast food, the attendant was rude . Drove 2 blocks to home and the onion rings were cold and the rest of the food was lukewarm so after a few bites it was cold. was very disappointed will probably not go back for rudeness and cold food.
