They had a section with toys and we looked through the toys and eventually moved to the back where the kids section was. It was immaculately out together and they had some really great books on display! My son was so intrigued by all the different options and grabbed a few books to read for a bit. Noble Records is my favorite local record store, hands down. Lots of selection, frequently updated,…read morewell-curated, and the friendly staff lets you browse in peace. There's always something interesting playing on their system, which makes the time spent flipping through their stacks even better. They have everything from discount bins to audiophile pressings, all categorized by genre, new vs used, and they seem to actually spend time keeping them well alphabetized. In addition to a great vinyl collection, they have a decent selection of CDs, cassettes, and 45's, as well as some vintage gear and their own shirts, etc. Getting there is the hardest part, the Elevation Church likes to block the parking lot unnecessarily on random weekends, and aren't very considerate of the businesses they share the lot with, but it's worth the hassle. It's my first stop each Saturday AM that I can get over there. You can then thread the needle of the parking lot over to Hardy Boys Records (in the Brass Grasshopper) before heading down to Mad Jack's to complete a trifecta of record store stops in Matthews.

During my visit I saw families browsing books while enjoying a drink, friends meeting for coffee and people having informal meetings. It feels like a place where you can spend time rather than simply stop by. The balcony seating looked especially appealing for reading or quiet study, with a good view over the café below. The book was approximately $160 for a brand new copy of the the textbook. On yesterday when I returned the book to recoup part of the cost, I was insulted when they told me that I would only receive $6 from their buy back program. This American College publication book was a problematic purchase at every level. It was not only hard to comprehend by most students in my class, but to then be told I would only receive about 4% of the cost of this required text just added to my personal insult. I have sold several books back to this store and have had to deal with the personnel there. Do not expect a high level of competency or professionalism from the personnel there. I will not be buying from them again. Use another resource please. Amazon can usually deliver in 2 days if you need a hard copy of a textbook​.

When we have questions, they always answer it, even if they have to call some where else to get answers. I have been going to GS Cotswold for almost 7 years now and for as long as I can get there, I will continue to go there. My 2nd choice will usually be the Galleria location but I am not as crazy about them as I am Cotswold but that is a whole other story.
