First try's the charm, because the guy on the phone not only took his time to speak with me and answer all of my questions, but even went straight to the back to see if the record was still back there. He could have easily been lazy like some ppl do you and just give you the run around but he didn't and I respected that . They saved the album for me at the front and when I got there it was in great condition and the price was unbelievable . I didn't test it out on my record player first before I shipped it off to a friend, because I didn't want to risk it messing up with my iffy player . Anywho, they assured that everything is tested before they sale it, which made me more confident about going ahead and wrapping it up. The customer service was great and they were super nice . Birdsnest is actually located right upstairs from the Needlecraft Center on Main Street in Davidson. It seems weird, but you walk into the house and head upstairs to the second floor. The Birdsnest consists of a retail shop and a place to get some music lessons. There is a little room that is cluttered with tons of vinyl records, which is what drew us here in the first place. The prices were pretty good and the quality of the records was great. They also have a small selection of CDs and other music formats, but it's mainly about the records. There are other rooms upstairs that are dedicated to music lessons, both instrumental and vocal. Birdsnest is a pretty cool addition to downtown Davidson and worth checking out if you want some vinyl or want some professional assistance in becoming a rock god.

I found a book that interests me so purchased it and sat down to enjoy my coffee with it. Only thing I would change here is would be nice if a kitchen was attached and they could serve made to order items. I went early on a Saturday in hopes of a nice breakfast sandwich to go along with my coffee, but all I saw were prepackaged items. I ended up getting a chicken salad sandwich and chips which was good, just not what I would have chosen for breakfast lol
