I was slightly disappointed on my first visit. I only had a chicken sandwich but is was only average and a bit stodgy. It was served on a wooden platter which didn't look at all nice and the garnish was a bit pathetic. The coffee was bitter and two sandwiches plus 2 2 coffees came to £20 hich was OK
The restaurant is in two halves and the part near the centre of Norton seemed better than the other. The dishes that others were eating looked pretty good.
I would try it again but maybe have something better than a sandwich. The service was a bit slow and uninspiring.
I think if there staff were more friendly and they did away with the wooden platters and the coffee was improved it would be a lot nicer.
The restaurant itself is nice enough. Give it a try it may be better when you go. read more
