She succeeded in targeting those areas and even more some by explaining each positions. Furthermore, this studio really stays true to it's name "Yoga without filters" Laila does a wonderful job adjusting to your needs where in the end results you leave with a versatile practice accustomed to you. I had the privilege of attending a one-on-one session with Laila on Sunday that completely changed my outlook. For the past six months, I have lost an immense amount of self confidence and trust in my own body. Talking and working with Laila through a personalized yoga session has given me back my trust. She is amazing at what she does, and welcomed me with an open and unbiased mind. This studio welcomes people with chronic pain and adjusts your workouts to fit your body type. I could not have asked for a better session. I went back today for my second yoga session and am so looking forward to see how my body progresses. They offer yoga packages, beautiful handmade jewelry, and so much more. Definitely a little slice of nirvana, much needed in Long Beach

I think it's time that I update my review considering I have been attending classes at Yoga108…read moreregularly for 8 years now. I'm a big fan of this studio. It's on the smaller side with 2 rooms, a heated and a non-heated. They offer vinyasa classes for 60 or 75 minutes, yoga sculpt, yin yoga, and strength & conditioning. Depending on which instructor's class you take, it may be more or less difficult. And trust me, they get difficult! I truly find the staff to be so pleasant, and they always remember me, welcoming me warmly, even when I haven't been for a month or 2. They also offer teacher trainings, community kirtan nights and international yoga retreats. I truly can't say enough about how much I enjoy coming here. The studio is a clean, serene space that immediately makes me feel calm, even when I'm sweating like crazy from the powerful yoga moves. There really is something to be said for practicing yoga in a studio environment, and Yoga108 is a wonderful one.

So my friend Joseph was always is good shape, but I was starting to notice that he had gone from…read morebeing in "good" shape into "what the hell are you doing to get abs like that shape" and the answer was Francisco. Francisco is a martial arts trainer and he is amazing. I hesitate to call him a martial arts trainer cuz that makes it sound like you are going to a karate class - it isn't that. OK, we punch and kick and shadow box, but it is so much more. It is core training and cross training and strength training and i leave exhausted and drenched and feeling better than you can imagine. I have been with a handful of trainers and some that I like very very much and that I miss. Francisco is different from gym sessions (though he does these as well). First off, you meet him out doors in a park. I go in the morning and it is so amazingly quite and peaceful and being outside is so nice compared to the typical gym experience. Additionally I love the fact that EVERY single session is different. I have been 25 times and not one has been the same. And Francisco is genuinely a great guy with an amazing spirit, enthusiasm and energy. Let me tell you, I curse the fact that I am getting up at 6 to meet him in the cold park at 7 in the morning and 2 minutes after we start I forget what time it is and what the weather is like. Just try it. It is more fun and more beneficial than you can imagine.
