I am finding fewer and fewer reasons to go back to Harmons. They have the highest prices in Orem, they forget to activate gift cards when you buy them. They have fewer and fewer selections at the donut counter. They just keep raising prices and cutting back on product selection. read more

Oh Harmon's, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways.... 1. Your beautiful and flawless produce. I once got some bad mangoes here, and you gave me free ones my next visit. You will cut anything open if i want, and you seriously take it as a point of PRIDE to make sure I am happy with every item. 2. Your deliciously juicy meat counter. Okay, that was gross. But the meats you have are AWESOME. And this coming from someone who generally eats very little meat at home. The bacon and sausage you make are beyond the quality any other stores offer. 3. Your aromatic and carb dense bakery. Man cannot live on bread alone, but man needs to try your insane bakery just to make sure. Amazing flavors, baked with local organic flour. This is about as high class as grocery shopping gets in Utah. If you're familiar with Safeway or a nice Albertsons where you live (or the awesome Dominicks in Chicago), this is as close as you're going to get to that level here in Utah County. A little fancier. A little more expensive. But they do offer some more premium stuff that other places dont. And its location on 8th north, off of State street means that if you dont live near State and dont want to drive down there, this place is a hop, skip and jump away from a lot of folks. read more

I adore the fruits and vegetables that Harmon's carries. Not only do they often feature locally grown produce, but they keep it fresh and they have some of the more unusual items that aren't as easy to find. In fact, you can always find habeneros at Harmons! The meat section is awesome as well. The convenience of pre-prepared stir fry for fajitas, and other ready to cook selections are great when you are in a hurry. They also offer chicken that is cut into small pieces, perfect for recipes in a hurry as well. Some of the prepackaged items in the store are more costly than at other grocers, but for fresh produce Harmons can't be beat. Another plus? They have a mail center and bank right in the store, and everyone is always really friendly. read more

Harmons has the best produce and meat in the valley, hands down. Add to that a truly world-class selection of European and US cheese selections. I used to have to drive to Salt Lake to get real Parmigiano Reggiano like I bought in Italy; now it's down the street. The deli is also amazing, complete with a great salad bar. The fresh bread is good, too, though I wish they had a better selection and some hard rolls. I also get amazing deals on my gas with the foodie club card. It's always clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Everything is constantly fully stocked and most of the prices are what guarantee my entire family's regularity. Our only bad experience in several years was when my mom went in there to put in a money order or something and the worker there insisted she bring her husband, which was never required before. She's not even married anymore, so wth did he want her to do? He kept insisting that she bring someone male because she couldn't possibly do it on her own. Luckily, we haven't seen him there in a while so hopefully his sexist ass got fired. The best part about this place? The staff. My mom is visually impaired. Despite knowing that place like the back of her hand and going there for years, when she walked in with a cane for the first time, several workers ran to her aid without even being asked and offered to shop for her or at least help guide her around the store. I guess Harmon's themselves make sure to train and treat their employees well because anyone we speak to seems really happy to work there and they really care about their customers. It's super close to the neighborhood (literally right around the corner where I live) which is very convenient for those who are unable to drive, and has two bus stops nearby. my husband (who is a chef and knows a lot about food) was pretty shocked about what items they had at the prices they were. read more

I love everything about this grocery store except for the prices. The sushi is made fresh daily in their service deli. The bread is a delicious addition to any meal. The salad bar has offerings galore. The guys at the meat counter are very helpful. Their floral department is convenient for picking up any last minute gifts. The pharmacy is well staffed and my waits there are usually very short. The people behind the service counter are always helpful. And, they have the best produce around. I just wish the prices were a little more competitive. But, as they say, you get what you pay for. read more

Harmons is a definite 5 star grocery store. They have the best selection of everything. I especially love their deli, they have all Boars Head meats, which is a very high quality brand. They'll slice it right there for you, give you a sample, and their service is phenomenal. They have soups, chicken dishes, salads, and all types of meals made in-house and fresh daily. Their prices are very competitive. They carry a lot of locally made products as well which is very nice to have the option to support local businesses. All around, Harmons is easily the best grocery store in Utah County. read more

This is my go-to grocery store. My husband has celiac disease, and Harmon's has a better selection of gluten-free options than anywhere else around. Even better, they have purple "Gluten Free" labels on much (but not all) of the gluten free stuff around the store. They also have labels for organic and local products, if that's important to you. The cheese island is great; we like to try something different each week. Yes, they are a little more expensive, but honestly it's worth it. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the store is well-maintained, and shopping here is just an all-around pleasant experience. Would recommend. read more

This is a great grocery store in Utah County. The other Harmons I have been to are larger and carry more options but for a smaller grocery store, this is packed with amazing selections. Good prices, organic selections, specialty items, the salad bar is terrific. Fresh on site bakery and staff who actually know their trade not just someone who has hired in off the street. The customer service is phenomenal. They carry Winder dairy products which we prefer and use regularly. We have not found another store that carries this brand. When we ran into a stretch over several weeks that our preferred milk selection (half gallon whole milk) was out, we spoke to the manager. She listen attentively and kindly. She mentioned that she was grateful for the feedback and would take care of it. We thought "OK, just another brush off." We were very pleasantly surprised from that point forward the milk has always been in stock. Every single time. Moving to Utah from another area of the country, it was so nice to see such excellent service in this area that we find tend to be all rush, rush, rush. I would give it five stars if this store were as comprehensive as the other Harmons I have shopped at. read more

My first time filling at harmons pharmacy I was nervous because I was afraid they would be like walgreens, but they sure weren't. Not only were they very fast but they were very kind as well. Harmons has the most friendly employees. I have found that if I am looking for some type of unique grocery item I can usually find it at Harmons. Especially specialty cheeses. I also like a grocery store that gives you a discount (even though it is small) for bringing your own bags. read more

Nine out of ten times I visit the Harmon's in Orem's deli department, I have the worst service!! It's like I am invisible.. today there were 3 customers waiting for 7 minutes. No acknowledgement that we were even standing there. There were 4 employees behind the counter doing various jobs. None of which were helping customers. I shop Harmon's almost daily. I've never had issues any where else in the store, but I have issues every time I am at the deli. I'm kind of getting sick of it. read more

Harmon's is by far the best grocery store in Orem. I used to shop at Albertson's because I can't stand the zoo-like atmosphere of Macey's or Walmart. Since it's demise though, I started shopping at Harmon's and I will never turn back. It has amazing produce. 99% of the time you can walk in, grab a few apples, bananas, potatoes, whatever, and you don't have to dig. You know what I'm talking about, lifting the card board tray to get the fresh apples at the bottom, or pulling out the bagged salads to get the new ones at the back. They always keep their stuff fresh and well stocked. They also have great meat, bread, and cheese. I frequently buy their fresh Parmesan. Its expensive, but where else can you get fresh cheese like that, that isn't vacuum packed and overly processed. It may not be as cheap as Walmart or some other stores, but that's the price you pay for good, fresh food, and great service. read more

I have been shopping at this Harmons for a few months now, and it's the most convenient place for me to shop. Their prices aren't really in my budget, as things can be a little overpriced. I try not to buy too many things when I go, but when I did this last week I needed to pick up some tortillas for dinner than night. They looked just fine, until I opened the package to find a large blue, moldy splotch on my tortilla. In fact, every single tortilla was rotten and moody like that. I send my fiancé back to the store to swap them out, which they had no problem doing, I just think the stock employees need to be a little more vigilant when it comes to their product freshness. The employees are always friendly, their customer service is wonderful, and they have a very clean and organized store. I will continue to shop here, but will refrain from purchasing anything without thoroughly checking expiration dates. read more

Salad bar is great. Good selection of quality cheeses. Fabulous bakery (seriously, it's fantastic). At times baguettes are overbaked and a bit hard to eat, but normally, their bread is superb. There isn't really any other bakery in the state that compares. Store is clean and well lit, and customer service is very good as well, which makes for a good shopping experience. It's not as big as the one in Draper or other locations, but still a great place. read more

Harmon's knows and practices the ultimate in customer service. they ask if they can help, they have enough help, they load my groceries, lines are short. there is a good selection of organic foods, fresh prepare foods, great salad bar...nothing in Utah County even comes close to this Harmons in total. It maybe smaller than some of the others but it is very very good. read more
