As a first time visitor I was greeted with introductions, handshakes, hugs and warm smiles. Although I didn't realize it in the moment the pastor walked right up to me before service to greet me and shake my hand. The congregation is definitely not culturally diverse but it doesn't matter. The Praise and Worship team were fantastic and the pastor started and stayed in the Bible. A sincere invitation was extended to me to come again and God willing, I plan to.

One of the friendliest festival's, everyone is dancing with Greek music playing in the background. Our family instantly felt at home and part of the group, there are bounce house's for the kids. The food is good Greek fare, served hot and fresh. Really enjoyed the Tiropita and Spanakopita, can't decide which one I liked better. The gyros and chicken skewers are very good, grab a Mythos beer and you are set for a Greek lunch. We bring our kids and everybody just has a great time. From the first time we went we really felt like part of the family here, the people are supper friendly. The last two times we went it was a little crowded for table space so we sat down with total strangers to eat and had a great time talking to them. It's hard to explain the atmosphere you kind of have to go and experience it for your self. I'm not sure what the other reviewer is talking about feeling out of place. Generally I am not a fan of big crowds, but here it's different, never felt more at home at a festival as I have here at the Greek Fest. This will be year four for us and there will be many more after. Don't forget to check out the merchandise tent, some very unique gifts or dress up in togas and get your picture taken Greek style! The worship leader Josh Thompson I have known for 20 years, we go back to Calvary Temple. Recently Pastor Josh became the head Pastor and can NOT get enough of his teaching. He IS spit on, non judgemental in everyway. More full of Joy and live fir everyone. I came back about 6 months ago, girst Sunday I heard tge bews of his elevation in duties. He is such an annointed Worship leader, he is missed in that role. If l hadn't known him for so long, I'd think he truely is a Angel of God. Pastor Gary was wonderful to, but in his words...Josh is going to take us higher, where l could not...(that may not be word for word, but believe it to be) It takes a big man to pass on the torch of Hope to another & admire Gary for seeing the giftings Josh has. The entire church is welcoming, friendly. A very large addition for our babies to young adults, was finished recently. This investment has shown that HOPE stands up to its name, our children are the Hope for the future. Praise our creator for HOPE CHURCH. Come, Wedsday evening at 5, we have a wonderful homemade dinner in the FAMILY CENTER with worship and prayer service at 6:30. Sunday morning there are 2 services 8:30 & 10:30am.
