Walking to the church, you're greeted by the sounds of children laughing, families enjoying themselves, people jogging or walking their dogs. Sunday worship service takes place in the auditorium inside the McClunie Community center right by the children's playground and duck pond. The center is a historic building that dates back to in the 1930's. It is a beautiful building with extensive hardwork and masonry brickwork throughout. During Worship service, the music and songs simply resonate and echos naturally as the sounds bounces off the walls. Pastor Jay is an awesome guy that loves people. When speaking to him, you'll find that he is super nice, very down to earth, and passionate about the Bible. His wife, Kim, is also a wonderful person who would greet you and make you feel comfortable. Worship team is amazing! Although only a few people, they sing and worship with passion and commitment. I can feel the presence of the Holy Spirit when I gently close my eyes while praising or praying. My family & I have been attending for a few months & we love it here. The church is warm and welcoming to all, members are friendly and kind and truly care about the church and their fellow members. Pastor Jamie Crook is outstanding, his sermons always relevant and thought provoking. There is a nice balance of traditional hymns and contemporary praise music and communion is served weekly, with all welcome to participate. There are various Bible study classes which are ongoing and card games on Monday nights. Individuals are allowed to settle in at their own pace, choosing to be as involved as they wish or as their schedule permits. Coffee time after church is a time we all look forward to, visiting with each other and enjoying sweet treats. Birthdays are celebrated at our monthly potlucks. I am growing deeper in my faith and feel that being a part of Arden Christian Church is central to this. I look forward to attending church each Sunday.

Until now, we could not find a church that met our criteria or needs. Beacon Church has checked every box on our list and more. 1. We felt that the Pastor Bryce and his wife, Shelbie as well as all the other members of the church took genuine effort to get to know our family and make us feel welcomed. When we experienced a hardship, we received multiple texts from people in the church providing us with prayer, love, and support. We were offered meals and help with running errands. 2. They provide wonderful childcare for the little ones during service. Our 2 year old daughter loved Sunday school and looks forward to it every week. We trust and feel safe leaving our daughter in their hands while we enjoy service. 3. They create a sense of community and family within the church and neighborhood. We are remembered and greeted excitedly by name when we attend church. The church has held multiple family friendly events in the neighborhood including family movie night at the park, a kite festival, and colorfest event. 4. We feel welcomed and not intimidated at all for where we are in our walk with faith. My husband and I are in different parts of our journey in regards to our faith and neither of us have ever felt pressured or intimated by anyone at the church or Pastor Bryce's sermons. They meet us where we're at and support and encourage us needed. I can go on and on about how much we love Beacon Church.
