I had grass that at looked like it was all weeds and Jon's Lawns took care of the grass with a solution I was never told before, and it looks just like a carpet (and I'm in 3/4 shade - 1/4 sun). Other grass companies would come by and within less than 1 minute (my office window looking out front) did what they had to, but Jon's Lawns takes their time. It's gorgeous.

I have to say that working with Mr. Gibbs and Springwood Gardens turned out to be a good experience. He came for a look at the property, gave me an estimate and made some observations as to what more needed to be done, suggesting that a failing tree be removed, and offering to include it in the price he quoted me for the original job, which was to cut back the many ornamental grasses that line portions of my property and to prune a line of shrubs. A day or so later the trimming and pruning job was done. It took just a few hours and the cuttings were hauled off and everything cleaned up just as promised. Took a week and a half or so for the second part of the job to be taken care of, which was the tree removal. It wasn't a big priority, so the wait was not an inconvenience. That day both Mr. Gibbs and his team were present for the job, and I was impressed with how quickly and efficiently the work was done. In addition to those jobs, the owner offered three extra services that he included in the agreed-upon price that added additional value to my purchase. He had some left over mulch from another job that he offered me. It was enough to refresh one bed. And while the crew was there he asked my permission to have them do two other jobs--prune the shrubs in my front bed, and clean up the leaves in the front yard. I said yes, of course, and all the jobs were done to perfection. So, essentially, he killed two birds with one stone: he kept everybody on his team busy with useful jobs and made sure that he gave me added value. That's what a good businessman does, and I find it commendable. This initial experience has left me open do to doing more business with Springwood in the future. In terms of pricing, they aren't the lowest priced landscape business around, but neither are they the most expensive. I know because earlier in the season I got two quotes from two other businesses. One was outlandishly high, the other offered me a quote that required I buy a package deal that included jobs I didn't want done. Regardless of my appeals, the estimator would not budge off their bottom line, which was too high based on the work I wanted done. I was baffled at their level of inflexibility. I won't be calling them back. Mr. Gibbs, on the other hand, was flexible and helpful in working out what needed doing, and went above and beyond to make sure everything happened right.

Amazing Construction is a completely worthless and incompetent company! Their work is totally…read moresubstandard along with their customer service. Last October 2024, I had them come out to reseal my stamped concrete patio. Initially the project looked successful, but within weeks, the sealant they used started to crystallize, which at the time I didn't really pay attention to because I just thought the weather is changing and it was just dirt. A couple of months later in early spring, I went out to clean the patio. Sprayed it down and washed it only to realize that the sealant they used crystallized and hardened all throughout my concrete patio and I now have a patio that looks like it's frosted over and completely faded in color. In April 2025, I contacted Deysi, who is supposedly the general manager and owner of this business and explained what had happened with the sealant, and she stated that she would look into seeing if there was a problem with the sealant they used and would get back with me and arrange a date to come inspect the patio. To date, I have never heard back from Deysi or anyone else at Amazing Construction. I made multiple follow up phone calls to Deysi, not to mention attempted to contact her via text with zero response. The lack of professionalism, competence and customer service with Deysi and this company is truly pathetic!! They completely ruined my concrete patio, which is the focal point of my backyard. All of my attempts to get a response from someone at the company were completely ignored and of course Deysi never came to inspect the damage they caused to my patio, which she told me she would, rather chose to hide and ignore my calls and text. Thanks to their work, I now have to have my entire patio sandblasted, re-stained with coloring and sealed by a true professional company, which is going to cost me a couple thousand dollars. My experience with Amazing Construction has been absolutely terrible and total disaster, and would never recommend them to anyone, not only because of their incompetent work but because of their awful customer service!!

Did not seem to understand that to keep weeds from growing back, he should have put down weed mat or sprayed - he did not do either and did not raise either as 'extra'. So, $300 for these areas and 2 weeks later it looks like my yard bed is heading back to where we started. Spraying here and there is reasonable as a homeowner, but as a landscaping company, I expected better service and more knowledge. He told me he did his job well and isn't coming back. I wanted to give a chance for someone to come back and correct, but he said no, so I want to leave an honest review for other yelp users looking for a similar project.
