We contracted with The Landscape Design Center to provide a consultation and subsequent installation of a full landscape lighting update. Although we already had landscape lighting in place for a number of years, as the trees and shrubs have grown we were feeling like the existing lighting did not accentuate the natural beauty of the property nor did it provide adequate path lighting on parts of the property. Our first step was to meet with a Landscape Designer from the Landscape Design Center. She was very knowledgeable with great and creative ideas..... Exactly what we needed. She not only designed the project but also managed the project from start to finish. She also coordinated with our electrician to ensure proper coordination with out Lutron System. In all aspects, she was outstanding! The installation itself was also outstanding. This was a complete makeover. So we expected the lawn and planting beds may be pretty torn up when the project was complete. We were surprised when that was not the case at all. All of the installation was done in a professional and clean manner. You can barely tell that we had any work done at all. The end result is amazing. The new lighting brings out all the best in the property. We can't wait until warmer weather when we spend more time outdoors and really get to enjoy it even more. read more

We have a large waterfront property that needed a bit of everything. The Landscape Design Center has the extensive knowledge of plants and the creativity to design for a myriad of different situations from rock gardens on a sunny slope, to shade gardens, even landscaping around a large koi pond, and successfully dealt with our terrible soil. They built a beautiful stone retaining wall, designed stone path with groundcovers, even included large boulders in landscape design. An outdated sprinkler system was repaired and vastly improved. A drainage issue in the lawn was dealt with, and they will be working on other drainage issues next to the house. The landscape lighting (virtually non-existent before) is exquisite. They always follow up and promptly dealt with anything issues. One thing I like best about them is that they work with you rather than telling you what you want. The Landscape Design Center replaced our front walkway, back patio, and landscaped the area adjacent to the back patio. We are absolutely thrilled with all of the work. Ana worked closely with us to create a design that accounted for all aspects of the job including our concerns about water incursion into our basement. The work crew did a meticulous and careful installation of the design and paid attention to the smallest details. I know they went above and beyond when they felt it was necessary to do the job right. There was a lot of artistry involved in implementing the design since we chose irregular flagstone and they succeeded exceptionally well. I rencently switched landscape companies after continually being dissatisfied. The Landscape Design Company is a local, highly qualified and professional company with excellent customer service. My yard is beautifully manicured and spring ready. Ana came out and personally walked my property. I got attentive and knowledgeable service and she told me everything that I did need and nothing that I did not. I ended up saving tons of money that I can use for future projects. Bonus points as well to the proficient and professional crew that were respectful of closing the fence while working and not letting my three dogs out. When we moved into our new house the yard was overgrown and we had drainage issues. Ana listened to what we wanted and didn't try to talk us into things that we didn't want. They did a a complete turn around on our property from a new patio, regrading, transplanting existing plants, planting new ones, and rerouting downspouts, sprinkler heads and sump pump runoff. When they were done they re-sodded the yard. If there was something that we could do ourselves to save money they were more than accommodating to help us out. All aspects were completed professionally from the designer to the workers. We will definitely use this company again if we need further landscaping. read more

Ana and her crew did a great job fixing some drainage issues I was having on the side of my home. With her knowledge/experience about drainage, Ana not only did a great job problem-solving my issues, but her fix was also very aesthetically pleasing! I love the way my side-yard turned out with a stone riverbed and steps! Not only did Andrea do a beautiful job of landscaping our front yard, (and worked an azalea we wanted saved into the design), but she also made sure the grading and drainage was improved. To be sure she understood our drainage issues thoroughly, she even came into the house and identified a major problem that could have led to serious health consequences.
