We had Harmony perform a pretty involved job of removing two windows and reinstalling them to fix a leak. Throughout the job Emillio and his helper took the time to do the job right and took pride in their work. They had to replace both drywall on the inside and stucco on the outside of the house. When the job was completed, you could not tell any work had been done - it was that good. They took the utmost care to protect flooring and furniture before they started work each day. I recommend not going with these guys, I spoke with them on the phone let them know exactly what we needed done, the guy said no problem he will send someone out between 5-6. He will give a quote and fix our door if we wanted, after the guy arrives he said there is nothing he can do because it was too late, even though this was the time they set up. Wow. What can I say? Emillio did what he said he would do and more. He arrived in a professional looking handyman truck with all the tools needed to complete all the jobs I had waiting. He fixed and replaced toilet seats, flush systems, installed smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in all the rooms, fixed numerous light sockets, hid wiring to our flat screen tv, fixed floor mouldings in shower that needed sheet rock beforehand, hung a laundry room pocket bi fold door, and finally repaired a door jam and installed lock/door handle to the garage. He was fairly priced and cleaned as he went along. My wife was so thrilled that all the small projects were finally done even before Valentine's Day. I told him that I can no longer depend on him, as he doesn't keep his word with me. Had he defended himself, and told me it wouldn't happen again, I'd have moved forward with him. I had been looking for a handyman for a couple of weeks, with no success. Contacted at least 7 of them. Most never even replied. So when I got an appointment with Emilio I just wanted the job over. But I got a pleasant surprise as Emilio was great. He arrived on time. Was polite and did the job very well with minimum mess. Then he clean up nicely afterwards. I hired Luis to build a structure around the pool equipment in the backyard. He impressed me as knowing exactly how to do as I asked. He was on time for both the estimate and the work start date and did the work in the estimated amount of time. Although his quote was competitive with others I consulted, it seemed high for the structure but this is probably just a reflection of doing business in the Bay Area. This guy is ridiculous. I will give minus 1 star if possible. I contacted him from yelp and tried to set up an appointment 2 days ahead. I proposed a time but he did not reply back to me. Then the next day we tried another time. I provided the address and phone number. I asked for the confirmation of the appointment but he never confirmed the time until 1 hour before the appointment time. The number he left on yelp is also not correct and I was not able to reach him to confirm. Then I had to go for work and when I saw his confirmation, I had to drop everything at hand and drove all the way back to home and waited for him. Waiting him for 15 minutes and he is not showing up, tried to call his wrong number and not able to find him. After another 5 minutes of waiting finally saw his yelp message that he cannot find my address in google map and let me send again. It is just a normal address, how can you not able to find it in google maps??? Anyway, if you have problem find the address, just call me and ask!!! Finally got his correct number and called him, he was able to find the address in google now. But it will take him another 15 minutes to arrive. I cannot wait for you the whole day for you to show up. I don't know how can one run business in this way. read more

After a recommendation from Home Advisors and reading all reviews, I was very excited to have him assist me in several projects. He showed on-time for the estimate, but that was the last I heard from him. I have followed up with texts, emails and phone calls leaving messages, but it has bees silent for more than a week now. We unexpectedly needed help with a gutter/downspout situation quickly in connection with the recent heavy rainstorm. We called today and Emilio let us know he would be able to come by between 3 pm and 4 pm to give us an estimate. He arrived around 3:30 pm and listened to the situation and looked at what was going on. He was considerate and thoughtful and made everything very easy to talk through. He said that he could do what we needed, and he quoted a very fair price. We agreed to have him do the work, and he left to get some things he needed for the job and came back with them very quickly and got immediately to work.
