We can't say enough good things about the care our family member received here at Harmony Hills. He came in struggling with bipolar disorder among other things. The staff took their time with him to properly diagnose and treat the various symptoms. Since leaving the treatment center he has stay consistent with his meds and in life. This is easily the worst place I've ever been to. They lied about having equine therapy, which is the primary reason I decided to come there for treatment. While I was there my case manager refused to call and confirm my short term disability leaving me unable to pay my rent. The groups are pretty good. The staff here are sweet and caring, but managment is not. When I arrived in January I explained that I had a upcoming cancer screening and that I needed to be discharged by the 14th of February as I had already purchased my flight ticket. They waited until four days before my flight and then informed me that I needed proof of my procdure. When I proved my procedure, they finally gave me my discharge. The pools been out of service for a long time. It's algae filled and smells awful. This facility is falling apart, broken railings are in the back of the building, its a safty hazard. The worst thing about this place are the manditory three hour breaks where there is little to nothing to do. read more

My mom wrote this review on google as well) Truly, only reason I give them a star is for most of the Behavioral Technicians. They make just barely if not the same as a fast food workers yet their compassion extends much further than administrative, nursing, and therapist. Otitis the case manager (not my sons btw) was extremely helpful. His actual case manager Jessica was extremely lazy, unhelpful and rude! 3900$ a day for insurance, lies told to get your loved on there, none of the amenities, (equestrian, massage, music ext) if not offered. Also, my son had a horrible detox but made the decision to go for himself. This is where the BHT really deserve every single bit of praise. Especially, Autumn, Corey, Troy, Brian, Greg, Tammy and a few other my son mentioned. It's quite sad when my son explains he is being discriminated agasint for multiple incidents he had nothing to do with, then to have professional staff agree with him! To have HIPPA violated when a patient broke down a secure door with all the patients medications they came with, cellphones ext. PRIVATE PROPERTY! just before my son left they lost a patients private property and still could not recover it by the time he left. The patient who committed this horrific act putting the facility at risk was offered to remain, even after he still have his phone to get narcotics on him until he was finally asked to leave! Bonnie the clinical director is a joke. I am going to be pursuing full criminal action against this facility! Also beware they are far from HIPPA compliant. Right before and after my son arrived they had two incidents where patients where sexually active. They couldn't blame my son for the first but during the second blamed my son despite no evidence of any sexual activities. Yet one Patient admitted to being sexually active with another patient, with markings left on the male and female who engaged in it. Yet my son was treated poorly after still dealing with a horrible detox. My son is missing two credit cards out of his book bag which they failed to list on his property. STAY AWAY! they know they are non complaint as a parent of another patient had to get the FDA involved regarding her daughters service dog. I'm going to make sure to do everything in my power to shut this place down. My son is traumatized by how little baker act or intervention for the severe mental health patients who just get access to lighters and tools the staff forget about to go burn and self harm themselves without staff realizing. I've never seen a mental health facility so BLATANTLY lie about having the capacity to care for those of us with chronic mental illness. They write all these therapeutic platitudes on their website and the intake specialists say all the right things on the phone, but either (a) they're lying or (b) they are so far removed from the actual treatment program that they have no idea what is going on. Never go here if you are looking for help with the following conditions: self-harm behaviors, suicidal ideation, dissociative identity disorder (DID), or personality disorders other than borderline. Harmony Hills repeatedly hospitalizes people who are struggling with self-harm and suicidal ideation, despite advertising on their website that they specialize in these conditions. They tell you that if you're hospitalized you can come back once you've "stabilized"; that's a blatant lie. I've never seen someone be allowed back. If you have DID, they will call you delusional and psychotic. They will tell you your trauma isn't real, even if you have people who can confirm your credibility on the outside, and they will tell you that your dissociation is actually just evidence of psychosis. This happened not only to me, but to another person I met while I was there. That person managed to escape by leaving AMA, while I was unfortunately hospitalized by Harmony Hills against my will. I was a nonviolent Black teenager struggling with multiple conditions. Staff at Harmony Hills told me that they couldn't treat me, and they Baker Acted me. They called the police to escort me off the property in handcuffs in front of all the residents. The police officers apologized to me and told me they just had to do as instructed. The officers told me repeatedly that they didn't think I was violent and even loosened the handcuffs to make sure I was comfortable, but I will never forget how criminalized I felt for simply struggling with complex mental health issues. And I wasn't even afforded privacy, as they took me out to the police car when everyone else was on break from group. Harmony Hills is a rehab facility that masquerades as a mental health treatment center, so it's no surprise that their groups aren't great, either. There are generally 25-35 people in a group. If you're a quiet or anxious person, no one will notice you, not even the group facilitator. Here are some of the "group activities" we did while I was there: - Watching the movie Girl Interrupted, because staff believed it was "an accurate representation" of modern-day inpatient hospitalizations and Borderline Personality Disorder. (Spoiler: it's not!) - Reading the DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for Borderline Personality Disorder in a psychoeducation group, which resulted in multiple patients self-diagnosing with BPD without fully understanding the condition. - Going around the room and talking about explicit traumas outside of the designated trauma processing group, which is really unproductive for people who are not ready for trauma processing. All it did was trigger a lot of people! So if you plan on going here, know this: Harmony Hills will not help you unless you are seeking help with substance abuse and/or acute depression, short-term stress, and similar conditions. Even then, the groups are often unproductive, and you will find it very hard to be heard. And if you're struggling with self-harm or suicidal ideation, they will just take your money, Baker Act you, and not allow you to ever come back. If you are a family member of someone struggling with a mental health condition, please consider the perspective of ex-residents. At the present time, there are countless reasons why our immediate family has reached this precarious situation. We believe the parental care of our children has and always will be paramount for us. So why has the sequence of events culminated in this remedial instruction phase. Maybe as parents we should have practiced tough love or tried to re-enforce other alternatives. We have supported Eric financially and emotionally in whatever endeavor he chooses. The family has offered him a support structure most individuals can only wish to have. Eric was raised in an environment nurtured by the love of his parents and grandparents who believed he would succeed in life. Every aspect of guidance for Eric was meant to provide a strong foundation for him to build upon. He had great role models to lean on and learn from. We are trying to contemplate how did Eric reached this desperate conclusion. Was it something we did or was there other external circumstances beyond our control affecting his judgement? Eric's TBI from an ATV accident in 2006 contributed a great deal to his deprecating symptoms. Alcoholism and lack of memory comprehension contribute to what he acknowledges are demeaning. He does and is currently seeing a professional in Buffalo to address the emotional and psychological trauma he battles daily. Ostensibly, the staff at Harmony Hills did nothing to help him regain his self-esteem. Since his expulsion from the treatment center, we have noticed a total absence of communication from him. We believe Eric must have experienced a traumatic event as a patient at Harmony Hills. Probably parading him in front of the whole compound after justifying the executive decision to remove him only added to his social dysfunction or lack of general well-being. On very rare occasions does he sits down at the dinner table or joins family functions. He now has a routine of staying alone in his room and utilizing his iPhone for entertainment and relaxation. Our concern as parents is that his abnormal behavior is further degrading his health and mental stability. Our son still requires the skills or medication to combat this horrible addiction of alcoholism. Since his TBI accident in May 2006 his incessant battle to mitigate the effects seem overwhelming. We are so proud Eric took the leap of faith to face his demons. We are hoping he would return as a new man capable to facing the challenges of life. Harmony Hill's self-righteous indignation and complacency seem to lack compassion and exist only for financial profit. Harmony Hills mission statement does not apply to every patient. I'm glad I drove myself in because after getting a tour and the truth about the facility I got back in my car and left. The admission people are no where near and have never been to the facility and lie to get you to come. I was told 24 people were there, turns out it's 45 and all go to the group therapy together, how would I even get a chance to talk The pool is broken and has been for a long time, there is no yoga, or exercise room as I was told. Phone calls out are actually only 2 days a week, the place is very run down and people seem to just sit and do nothing a lot of the time. The dr you will "see" every other week by a zoom call. This is just what I learned in the hr tour I was there. Definitely not what is advertised and not what I was hoping for at all. If you have any other options please go elsewhere. Absolutely horrible! Would rate it 0 stars!! Went there back in April for my PTSD and bipolar disorder, I dealt with very serious trauma before coming there. I was sexually assaulted and taken advantage of multiple times by an ex boyfriend multiple times before coming to harmony hills, and it caused me to have a very serious UTI. The torture began when I was bounced off and on an antibiotic there. When I was off the antibiotic, I was in severe pain when I went to the bathroom, and it made me relive the trauma of being raped. Once I was put on ciprofloxacin, I was nauseas and threw up everyday all day and had vertigo due to sensitivity/allergy to the antibiotic. Despite the antibiotic illness, I was still reprimanded for not going to group, and was even told by staff that I'm "making myself sick!" I was even denied the trauma track therapy because I wasn't going to group because I was FEELING ILL! I was bullied very badly by another patient. She would scream at me for crying in pain when I was reliving my trauma when I was using the bathroom. An older patient also made sexual advances to me and almost raped me in the group room bathroom hallway, knowing I'm only 19 and have sexual trauma. When I reported this he wasn't even given a behavioral contract. I finally went to the emergency room on a baker act to get medically checked out for my UTI and make sure I don't need antibiotics again. Harmony hills didn't call an ambulance or even recommend I go to the ER; the police did!! I was cleared by the ER and went to lifestream, a psychiatric hospital, and the next day they sent me right back to harmony hills, even though I begged to not go back there because you guys medically neglected me and acted like I was faking my trauma!! My therapist Bonnie held me hostage and wouldn't let me AMA unless I got baker acted again, and so she called the police department which took a almost two hours to get to me, instead of calling 9-1-1. My UTI came back, and when I went back to the emergency room, my UTI results came back positive even though they were negative the day before. Anyone who considers going to harmony hills or considers sending a loved one there; THINK TWICE!! Do thorough research on facilities before going!! I am doing a lot better now I went to a much better treatment center and got the help and therapy I needed! No more UTI; I was able to get rid of it with cranberry juice. First and foremost I never write reviews but If you are searching for a primary MH facility, this place saved my loved ones life and I will forever be grateful. From the first phone call to admissions - to the last day of treatment the staff were so amazing and helpful. We were even able to tour the facility and meet the staff prior to admitting which made the entire process less nerve wracking. For Admissions to lie to you just to get you to come to Harmony Hills (to take the insurance money), should tell you something. We flew in to the facility just to fly back home (wasting money) the next day. How dare you tell me that I have access to the gym, phones, healthy food options, pool, even the cottages during the day, when that ways not true. How could people sleep at night knowing patients are there for assistance and they just worried about the insurance money. All that are involved in conning/lying to get business should be investigated and fired. read more

I didn't do enough research before arriving. After only 24 hours at HH, I have had to increase my meds to combat flashbacks, nightmares, and insomnia from my experience. This facility and staff are not trauma-informed. Intake procedures were trauma-triggering. Housing for newcomers is group housing with males and females under one roof. I had to increase and adjust my medication just to cope with my experience here. Staff deny patients access to phones, their own physicians, and contacting others on the outside. Specifically, HH Staff denied my request to make emergency phone calls to my psychiatrist, family, and to coordinate transportation off their premises. Once you are admitted (even if voluntarily) you are trapped unless you are able to advocate for yourself and demand that they discharge you. Based on my first hand experience, I do NOT recommend HH if you are suffering from PTSD or C-PTSD. My Experience: I was forgotten at the airport - the airport is 1 hour from the ranch. I tried to be forgiving but, after arriving, it was clear this place was unprofessional & disorganized. I can't say for sure if it's an insurance mill, but that is the distinct impression I got as I went through their intake & discharge process. My intake & discharge were handled by Sandra/Sandy & Shannon.Both women gossiped about other employees & other patients.Neither was professional.Shannon was unkind. Sandy forgot to have me take a pregnancy test; I offered to take it, but she chose to dip the pregnancy test inside the urine sample I had already provided right on the table we were using for intake.She then sat the pregnancy test (dripping with urine) on the table next to the open urine sample cup.This was while she was "going over" forms with me.I was grossed out & didn't even know how to address this.I still don't know how to describe this...at least she wore gloves? I was made to strip in front of two women, squat, & cough twice while naked. This was traumatizing & not trauma-informed.Sandy didn't really go over the forms with me - anytime I asked a question, it was explained away (e.g. I said I didn't consent to being photographed, she told me I had to sign the form anyway & that they "don't really take photographs.").Shannon likewise did the same when I was checking out - I couldn't have my belongings until I signed something that said I was going against medical advice.The problem being the psychiatrist told me it was my choice to discharge and he didn't disagree with my plan.He made a recommendation that I have my own room, which the staff said "would never happen".So I added a honest comment on the form I signed to indicate that I spoke with the Doctor about my discharge plans - but everything about checking in and checking out seemed like a major "CYA" to protect them from liability. I asked for a paper copy of all the forms, but I wasn't given one. I still have no idea what I signed.One RED FLAG was when Sandy said "You can only check yourself out against medical advice MONDAY through FRIDAY 9:00AM until 4:00PM, and now you can't say I didn't tell you, because I just did." I found this to be a bizarre way to give a warning that - even against medical advice - you will be unable to have your personal belongings (including your wallet, cell phone, and anything else you brought with you) until Monday at 9AM. This place is in the middle of nowhere. Being denied access to your personal belongings if you feel unsafe there - like I did - is terrifying and feels illegal. I voluntarily checked myself in and I was being told that even if I wanted to have my belongings, I wouldn't be able to have them over the weekend; I'm not an expert on the law, but that seems illegal to me. I declined to provide my social security number, because this isn't a financial institution and is supposedly a medical facility. I got pushback from Shannon and Sandy telling me I *had* to give my SSN. I declined, and they had to get "approval" from someone else for me to bypass that step. In addition to my SSN, they also wanted a photo and access to one of my credit cards. This made the hair stand up on the back of my neck because it is not a standard practice in any other hospital-like scenario I've ever been in. I complied, only because I have a fraud alert and credit freeze on my SSN so nothing malicious could be done with my credit. The intake process took 5+ hours. I was denied access to the meds I needed in a timely fashion because "they needed approval." Mind you, I provided my own medications, I was managing my medications on my own before arriving, but they denied me access to my own meds. read more

Run! This place is a total scam. They are only interested in getting your insurance money. They provide little to no worthwhile therapies. The facilities are old and in disrepair. They misrepresent facilities on their website. The place is termite eaten. The dining room is full of flies. The food is mostly unhealthy. They don't return families phone calls. If you love and care for your family member you won't place them at Harmony Hell. I recommend touring the place first to see how horrible it is. Excellent staff, the food was amazing, and the therapies were 10/10, I had an excellent time at Harmony Hills and would recommend them to anyone else seeking treatment for themselves or a loved one. My therapist heard and understood what I was going through and was able to help me learn coping skills and understand why I did the things I was doing, the psychiatrist was informative and helpful when prescribing medications and all the BHT staff were wonderful, this was a much different setting than I am used to when I have gone to rehabs in the past. It's a beautiful, serene wide open setting, it feels nothing like a hospital or "psych ward." This was the exact thing I needed to get back on track in my life. read more

The pictures are not accurate! The horses belong to the neighbors and you are not supposed to feed them or touch them as a couple horses are diabetic. The nice room with the couch and all that is the main room and it is for show. The residents do not have access to it. You are stuck in a nasty gym with nothing to do or sitting outside smoking cigarettes. The picture of the gazeebo is not what it looks like. Put a smoke pit there with cigarette butts everywhere. My therapy was skipped the 1st 3rd and 4th week. I only saw the therapist like 2 times my 32 days there. My medicine was not ordered the first 3 weeks there so I was having daily panic attacks with no help. I physically and mentally suffered the entire time there. You are left with no access to your cabin. Your cabin is for waking up an and going to bed. You can't just go back to your cabin and relax at all. Even the 3 hour break you do not have access to your cabin you just sit outside with nothing to do. Everyone smokes cigarettes here and the ground is full of butts.There is no yoga therapy or music therapy or equine or dbt therapy etc etc. Its all fake. Your help is sitting in a super dirty room full of flies and getting a print out from therapy assist. Some mornings our teachers did not show so we would just try to do our own therapy. Someone would get up and we would say go around the room and say our name and give a goal for the day. There is a gun range close by so if you are suffering ptsd just know that random gun shots are the norm. The food is nasty here. It is like free hot lunch in prison. Flies are everywhere. Just get used to like 5 flies being on you at all times. If you are hypersensitive its terrible. My cabin had no air conditioning. My shower was busted and the pool was closed by the health department. There were worms all over the pool floor. A girls other personality came out and she cut herself all over in the bathroom in my room and I had to take care of her and walk her to the nurse office because no one was near our room. I am traumatized from that to this day. I also walked in on two boys having sex in the filthy classroom. There was a pedophile there and the place did nothing about it. Despite all the women saying they felt unsafe. We all staged a walkout and they asked us to use our coping skills. I told them i was using my boundaries and would not go in till the guy who was making advances to young 18 year old girls and writing disgusting things like how he would kill them after he messed with them was gone. I am a sexual abuse survivor and had to listen to an employee blair on his speakerphone his nasty music about rape and all that kind of stuff on my breaks. I was in a constant dissociated state in flight flight or freeze while there. Also if you are suicidal or a self harm person just look on the ground. There are plenty of nails to pick up to self harm with. Multiple people self harmed themselves with the nails and lighters here as they also are very loose on handing out lighters and losing them. You only see the psychiatrist via zoom really quick as he resides 3 hours away. The minimum is done here its all about insurance money. I read the bad review prior to coming here and should have listened to my instinct. They will milk your insurance and then force you to go to a resident in patient php. You are not there till you get better its when your insurance says stop. The girl who cut herself all over in my cabin left in like 2 weeks because here insurance stopped paying. We all "coined" her out but she was in dire need of help and they were sending her back like she was all better. Its horrid and a sham! If you already have a php in line with your hospital they will act like its all good to get you to come but right before you leave they will drop the bomb on you that you are stranded unless you change your php and go to one of theirs that are in patient. That is horrid not putting the patients needs first. There is no dr on the premise so if you hurt yourself or need to see a medical doctor you have to talk to someone on the phone its never in person. I hurt my knee bowling and they did nothing to help me. The nurse on the phone said because I could not remember if I heard a snap that my knee was fine. I was not allowed to go see a dr or get an xray to make sure I was ok. I limped from the injury on. My leg and foot were even swollen and no one helped me despite me asking everyday to get it checked out. I was not even given a brace when I requested one to help me with all the walking or anything to help my knee. I had to wait till amazon day which is once a week and order and pay for my own knee brace. This place is terrible please do not go here its a trap. you will be there for at least a month not 20 days like they say (unless your insurance stops paying.) and you will have no help while you are stuck there. Don't come here Worst thing I saw here was the lead nurse (Henry) shoving a female client hard enough for her to stumble, for literally no reason he just has anger problems and is always on a power trip. Then the staff rushed to defend him, trying to convince people it didn't happen, and I'm really not sure what actually happened to him because I was discharged the next day, totally unrelated to me being a key witness to it and wanting to write a statement I'm sure. They pull random meds out of a hat based on the 5 minute intake conversation you have with them, they wanted to prescribe me schizo meds and anti seizure meds even though I'm not schizophrenic and never have seizures. The psychiatrist is a joke you have a 5 minute video call with him and he thinks that's good enough to place a diagnosis. The groups suck, they are recycled handouts that look like their from a middle school psychology elective class, and there are 6 50 minute groups a day 7 days a week. There is pretty much nothing to do here, couldn't even watch tv because the remote kept getting lost, there's a basic gym with a basketball hoop, very shoddy excercise equipment, a volleyball court that hadn't been used in years. I could go on and on about the negatives, so as for positives, you could get as much food as you want to eat, and it was pretty decent most of the time. The rooms were pleasantly cool and comfortable, with a nice bathroom, however there was a blatant camera in the room I stayed in, and staff would talk loudly all night making it tough to sleep, and they come in the room at 6:30 am to take your vitals while you are still in bed. The way they handled med pass was a nightmare, most of the staff seemed like they hated it there and many not all seemed to like making clients miserable. Super unprofessional place. None of the things promised on the website were actually fulfilled. If you have someone you love and you are thinking of sending them here I would not recommend it. Also I had a medical emergency where I lost hearing for 8 days and I had to fight tooth and nail to get sent to the emergency room to be treated. They were actually threatening to baker act me for complaining about my medical issue. read more

I admitted myself to Harmony Hills after a decades long battle with Depression and Anxiety. I had to finally admit to myself that I am powerless over them and needed to remedy the situation. From the first phone call to Lauren at the office to my intake with BHT Kelly and Nurse Penny, my initial experience was positive. They allowed my wife to remain with me during the entire intake so I felt safe. Penny even brought in her adorable dog Leo (I loved Leo!). My first couple of days were shaky for me. I was in an unfamiliar environment, somewhat cut off from my wife and surrounded by strangers. But the facilitators (Marin, Mike, Greg, Tim and Ted) for groups put my mind at ease quickly. I was there for ME and so I dove right in. My therapist Ms Cris, case manager Daniel and all the BHTs (especially Shannon, Autumn, Tony and Chris) were awesome! It wasn't long before I felt somewhat at home for my tenure that I would work out there. I highly recommend HH for anyone dealing with deep-rooted depression, anxiety, ADHD or bi-polar. They care about you genuinely. Some people expect all kinds of amenities. My response to that is "This aint Summer Camp"! You're there to get well. My short lived 2 month 2 week expedition at Harmony Hills was nothing more than dreadful. From the classes, that did little to nothing to telling you how to deal with your personal issues, to therapists and then going behind your back talking to other clients about you, forging signatures so they can do whatever they want with your treatment and assuming that they know all about you by only one visit. The staff and clients all gossiping about other staff and clients. It made it a terrible place to be, gaslighting and trying to make you upset on purpose just so they can switch the flip on you and say "it's my job" gives this place a horrible rating of 2.5/10. The same therapists who are supposed to guide you and help you out try their hardest to keep you there longer and decline all attempts to leave in a respectful manner. Please do not go here if you are truly looking to take care of your mental health, because they will try everything to get you, your family and everyone else who shouldn't be involved, involved just so they can twist things in their favor and call you crazy. Terrible staffing, not to mention short staffed and generalized teachings that don't fit for the personalized individual. (They get all of their teachings "pulled right out of the big book) A therapist should be humble, not one who thinks they are above their clients. Please, by all means and respect for yourself, find an actual place that cares for their clients, not one that tries to call you mentally ill, gaslights you and your family, talks to other clients about you behind your back while the community does the same and tells you that they aren't like that; just to try to get a type of reaction out of you. This place obviously doesn't know their patients as well as they think and assume that treatment treatment working when people just want to leave. This isn't the way a treatment center should be run. Not with people playing childish mind games and act like the other person has no idea what they're doing. It's shameful to say the least in a community full of adults that they all could act so childish just to get their fun and laughs in. Go somewhere else, save your time, insurance money and mental health. They will try to run your insurance up and take all the money you have before kicking you out. Do not go here. Do extensive research before sending your loved one to any facility. After they swindle you, with saying that your insurance is in network and facilities in Florida are "taking more insurance" than where you reside. My loved one has come out of this place traumatized, don't let them lead you to believe that this is any less traumatic than a psych ward. This is an addiction facility, it is marketed as an addiction "and" mental health facility but the whole program is geared towards addiction, this can be very unhelpful for people who do not struggle with this who have been swindled into believing this is the right program for them. * They will treat you like all you care about is money for being concerned about how you're going to pay for your loved one's treatment. * It's very clear that it's a business and if you ever insinuate that your loved one would find better care elsewhere, they will get super defensive and act like you can't possibly do better. * They will act like this service is free and they're doing God's work and conceal the fact that they technically "take" insurance except when you're out of network, thus draining your insurance. Your insurance will charge you like hell later. But when you express this concern, they will not care and they'll act as if you have nothing to worry about, that you're being repetitive and that they've "already explained this." * They will dump you in the middle of nowhere with no phone if you have any misconduct .They will also do that if you give your 72 hours notice and decide you want to leave. * It's their facility or nothing in their eyes. God forbid you want your loved one to seek care elsewhere! * Any legitimate, well meaning place would not be this defensive and combative when confronted about insurance and about what kind of care they provide. You're expected to trust them 100% and if you don't, they'll gaslight you. * They'll do whatever they can to keep your loved one there and make it seem like they're just looking out for their well-being and make it seem like you aren't. - The facility will surely act like they will "take care of everything" Just to get your loved one into the program. They promised they'd find their outpatient center which they convinced my loved one she needed, This has the brought her to tears that she is being left with nothing. They TOLD us not to look into outpatient centers because they would take care of it. I would recommend this treatment center over and over again. I was there a total of 42 days and did not want to leave. Their zip lines are down, no horse riding, and you can't have your phone. But in all honesty, who cares. You're not there to do that stuff. You're there to get actual help. Most of the therapists there WANT to help you help yourself. Yes the days are long, but in my opinion necessary. The rooms are amazing. The beds are comfortable. The food is delicious. It is not like a jail, it's more of a resort with rules. If you're there really to get clean that is the place to go. If you do want to leave you have a right to turn in a 72 hour notice and they will be happy to let you leave in 72 hours to make sure you're thinking clearly. If you just have to leave immediately they do have the right to keep some of your belongings for 72 hours. It's not easy being there as far as the long days and all the information you learn, but it's SO WORTH IT. I cannot give this place good enough reviews. If you're serious about getting clean and staying clean then I recommend harmony hills a thousand times over. I owe the therapists there my life. read more
