At the time we were not a client and after contacting SKR Home Healthcare, we were reassured immediately that dad would be safe and cared for.Susan took control and, within less than 24 hours, provided an immediate solution with an aide that fit dad's personality for the entire weekend. Not only was our father in "loving hands," but he was dressed impeccably and attended both the wedding ceremony and the entire reception at The Ballroom at Ben with his SKR aide also dressed in a beautiful navy suit close by his side. He did everything in his power to get him transferred with all the requests I had for him. Room by himself was a was a major request which he met. The facility was clean and the staff was was very pleasant. I want to especially thank Tony, Marie and Nefertiti who went beyond to make sure all his needs and concerns were addressed. I can not remember all of the nurses and nurses assistants names and I apologize for that. I don't remember my speech therapist name but the cognitive work she did with me was very reassuring that I wasn't as bad as I thought I was. And I can't even begin to say how fantastic my Occupational Therapist Amelia and Physical Therapist Keri were. The magic they worked on me can only be called just that MAGIC. In 2 weeks they got me ready to go home instead of having to go to a sub acute facility like I was originally told I would have to do. I can not express how thankful I am to everyone at St, Mary Rehab. As far as the food there were a few mix ups with the food I received but the food tasted good. Again thanks to all Saundra

Also, when insurance says they are done paying management will dump you on the curb faster then if you had the plague. While better then ANY subacute rehab, I DO NOT RECOMMEND this hell hole.

I am a 28 year old girl who just lost my father - this inevitable stage of care was hard enough for my family to face and one of the final hours we had with our dad was wasted in the presence of someone who lacked such basic, fundamental interpersonal skills let alone respect and human decency. Truly a horrible experience, and one that will unfortunately always be associated with our memories of my dad's final days. My dad's name is Steve. Not "the patient" and certainly not "Richard".
