UChealth family medical center on pennock place has absolutely set the standard for what medical institutions should strive for, and they exceed that standard every time. From the receptionists, nurses, and physicians, there is not a single person there that I have had anything short of a pleasant experience with. They are attentive, caring, understanding, and do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. My primary physician Dr Blake Volkmer is one of the kindest, friendliest, understanding and capable physicians I have ever come across and despite just being a first year resident, Dr. Volkmer upholds the standard that which aspiring physicians should strive for. If I could go to this clinic once a week just to hang out and talk to the people who work there, I would. Im only going to be living in Fort Collins until I graduate from CSU, and no matter where life takes me, UChealth family medical center will be the standard in the process of finding new medical care, every single time.

I knew I had not but still it concerned me. Very stressful to hear and utterly false. A cascade of tests later (at UCH) revealed that the physician at Banner had only concurred with the faulty interpretations offered by the software of her EKG machine. That would be Doctor Bellmore at Banner. In contrast, the UCH heart surgeon I saw for the cascade of tests, taken only as a precaution, was genuinely impressed by the condition of my heart and overall health. He found no evidence of any heart attack. My care at Banner induced months of needless anxiety. Not totally anxiety but plenty just the same. The front desk personnel were about 50/50 as to whether they would be supportive or induce more stress themselves. My advice? If you are a senior stay away.

She had a ton more to say about the hot, humid environment she had been in the previous days as well as history of how her skin reacts to things, and the doc talked right over her and wouldn't hear her out. They gladly took the copay, and she left feeling completely unresolved and unsure of where to go for answers. Very disappointing behavior from a doctor. I hope he takes the time that each patient deserves in the future.

They got us back into a Room immediately and staff was attentive. We needed a chest X-ray and they brought the X-ray machine into our room just minutes after the order was put in. I'm used to even the most basic ER visit turning into a several hour ordeal. I was so pleased with the attentive but quick care. I would say -- If you think there is a good possibility you will need to be admitted, I would not go to this ER "outpost" that isn't connected to a hospital.
