The mother (Linda, I believe) made threatening and derogatory remarks. I was threatened and told that if I did not sign a document agreeing to move out, a sheriff would come to my home "with a GUN" . I wish I understood my legal rights back then, because I would guess that threatening a tenant doesn't sit well in court. This was one of the worst experiences of my life and frankly, years later, this situation still deeply upsets me.
