Very nice B&B in Belfast. I stayed here for 2 nights in October with my parents. They had a double and I had a single room.
Entry: a few small steps up stairs to the front entrance. You ring the bell upon check in, and are given an access code for the outside door during after hours.
Location: located in a younger (age wise) part of the city, it's about a 15-20 minute walk to the city center. I felt very safe walking around the area and to/from the city center.
Rooms: located upstairs, they are very clean and accessible. The single room is a little small, although I'm just one person- I don't really require a lot of space. The double room was a nice size for two people. Each room has a lock on the outside that you enter your code to access.
Bathrooms: clean bathrooms and plenty of hot water. Only two gripes overall would be with the bathrooms- the first that they are wet rooms, and water tends to go all over the floor (although dries fast), and the second is the shower heads. The double room had a rain can shower head that didn't fit the space well, so it had to be tilted on an undesirable angle. The single room had a hand shower- not exactly my favorite thing.
Staff: friendly greeting by Gary. Very welcoming overall and extremely helpful. Gary was quick to help make arrangements for us for dinner and helpful with having transportation pick us up in the morning. He was quick to solve any problems we had.
Breakfast: good, warm breakfast. You have a choice between breakfast buffet and a warm meal hot off the stove. Coffee was good and the orange juice plentiful. Can't really ask for more than that! read more
