Hotel was well located and quiet, a little off the busy street with stores and restaurants but still close enough to walk to Queens U, Ulster Museum, and the Botanic Gardens. Rooms are on the smaller side but have a bath tub and plenty of hot water which is always nice. Little fridge and a kettle provided. Front desk staff is very helpful. Breakfast was more delightful than expected with a full selection of cooked to order dishes as well as the usual fruit and croissants. Definitely worth staying next time I'm in Belfast.

I had trouble with the WiFi, trouble with the TV, and trouble with the electrical power strip in the room so my phone and laptop never got charged. Everyone knows how much we rely on our phones for navigation and information when traveling! Plus, I was charged extra because we were in the "family room" because it was the only room they had left, not because I asked for it. Not a good experience.

A few years later it was discovered that this was incorrect and that Thomas Andrews did indeed live at 12 Windsor Ave but in 1912 the street numbers were different and 12 Windsor was now 20 Windsor just up the street. However my stay here was very nice and I would go back. I am working on a small documentary for my You Tube channel and would really like to include an update on the Ash-Rowan Townhouse but there is no way to contact them online through email or their reservations (it says not available) choices. Very nice B&B in Belfast. I stayed here for 2 nights in October with my parents. They had a double…read moreand I had a single room. Entry: a few small steps up stairs to the front entrance. You ring the bell upon check in, and are given an access code for the outside door during after hours. Location: located in a younger (age wise) part of the city, it's about a 15-20 minute walk to the city center. I felt very safe walking around the area and to/from the city center. Rooms: located upstairs, they are very clean and accessible. The single room is a little small, although I'm just one person- I don't really require a lot of space. The double room was a nice size for two people. Each room has a lock on the outside that you enter your code to access. Bathrooms: clean bathrooms and plenty of hot water. Only two gripes overall would be with the bathrooms- the first that they are wet rooms, and water tends to go all over the floor (although dries fast), and the second is the shower heads. The double room had a rain can shower head that didn't fit the space well, so it had to be tilted on an undesirable angle. The single room had a hand shower- not exactly my favorite thing. Staff: friendly greeting by Gary. Very welcoming overall and extremely helpful. Gary was quick to help make arrangements for us for dinner and helpful with having transportation pick us up in the morning. He was quick to solve any problems we had. Breakfast: good, warm breakfast. You have a choice between breakfast buffet and a warm meal hot off the stove. Coffee was good and the orange juice plentiful. Can't really ask for more than that!

This is a true shrine to Elvis and all things Film and TV!! It's also a working B&B and I was fortunate to meet the very pleasant Lady of the Manor, Ethy. The B&B is located on the glorious coastal route and is but a stones throw from Belfast. The rates to stay are very competitive and I think I will pop in for brekkie!!!! It's open for tours during upcoming European Heritage Open Days next weekend.

We needed a…read morehotel room because our ferry had been cancelled and we were stuck in Belfast for another night. We frantically looked at options such as getting a bus to Dublin and staying the night there. But thanks to the internet and smart phones we found a wee B&B near the Antrim Road. We had a bit of trouble finding the place at first and the taxi driver was quite unfriendly. We got there and no one answered the door for a while so we were a bit scared we'd been scammed. But then a friendly Irish woman opened the door and showed us to our room. Our room was lovely and cosy. It was done up very nicely. The heating took a wee while to come on and we had an issue with the Free view box. The bed was fairly comfy. Breakfast the next morning was amazing. Aoife makes everything herself. The jams were great as was the home made bread. Sleepy Cedars was so welcoming. What I like about small B&Bs is that they are a lot more personal than big hotels. If I was coming over to Belfast again, I'd stay here.

Citi lodge is a guesthouse located smack bang in student land so residents beware, it does get…read morenoisy! The rooms are really cheap though and when we stayed t served our purpose OK. We were visiting friends in queens and rather than sleep on manky student sofas (we've all been there) we thought we'd stay here as it was cheap, central and included breakfast! The rooms were basic but clean but were fine for us and the price. I must say the staff were really nice and friendly. A good place to stay if you're on a budget and don't mind a bit of noise. Also, their free parking is on the street folks, not a private garage.
