Hubby and I made a pit stop on our way back home. They had a lot of slot machines. They had everything marked well including the cashier, restrooms, complimentary non-alcoholic drinks, buffet, etc. It was very clean. Nothing spectacular to be honest. We had fun playing slots.

It is so boring here. Packed to rhe gills with slot machines flashing LED lights. So it has changed too much. Food and drinks are okay. I will come back a mndvtry this venue again but for now, there is a bus of seniors wandering around looking bored. Sad state of affairs.

Clean casino with nice design. Pit bosses hovered, but were nice. Dealer made one mistake, but was corrected without issue. Rules for table games are also good. Would return for table games.

FIRST VISIT: (4 stars) I stopped at the casino to break up a trip while heading back home. Some of the games seem outdated but it looks like newer ones have been added. I am not a gambler but I like the slot machines and free games that first time visitor's can earn. The bathrooms are clean and well monitored. The security team has a nice presence. They circulate throughout the entire casino. Parking is much easier than Live! or MGM. They have free soft drinks (MGM charges $5 per soda). I didn't have to wait more than five minutes to get a casino card. The employees were kind and helpful. They introduced themselves and made me feel welcome. I won tickets to see a game show. I was happy to go alone but hubby was willing to take me. There is a buffet and several places where you can order sandwiches or have a snack. SECOND VISIT (Casino managers 3 stars & a hug, Theater/Team Erik 10 stars, Member services & cashout area 0 stars) Since we were attending "America's Greatest Game Show" hosted by Erik Estrada, (yes, Ponch) it was convenient to use the free casino credits. Otherwise I would not have driven more than 80 miles to play. My inner tween was happy to see "Ponch." I was excited about the show and wanted to have all the details (where to line up & when) since the casino web site & game show FB page didn't provide the answers. No one in member services knew. I was shocked since they have monthly concerts/events in the same building. Someone told me to, "follow the side walk. It should take you there." (which sidewalk?) Every employee should be able to tell a guest where to line up for a show. I decided to get creative and I asked a woman at the cash desk where to line up for the show. She asked her coworkers, who didn't know. The employee told me to enter through the buffet and gave complicated directions to reach the show. She was extremely frustrated at me for not understanding her. I decided to look for employees with suits and radios since surely they must know the layout of the property. A nice man in a suit didn't know, but he asked his boss to help me. She not only knew, she walked me to the casino entrance to show me where to go. If you ever attend a game show at The Harrington, enter through the white awning. If your back is to the casino entrance, the awning is very close, on your left. They have another entrance that is used for some of the concerts. The game shows (different entertainment each month) start letting in audience members one hour before start time. The theater seems old and the padded seats get uncomfortable after a while. If I ever attended another show, I would bring a seat pad. The theater is roomy, but intimate enough that you have a decent view from any seat. The show was a lot of fun. I got a hug from "Ponch."

Nice Casino. Easily accessible. Lost a couple hundred. Probably won't go back. The atmosphere just didn't feel right for a Casino.

It was nice to have a brand name hotel here in the boondocks. I found myself here at this Quality Inn hotel and suites in Harrington, Delaware in the dead of January 2023. I was thankful during my stay here that it was as balmy weatherwise, and not snowing or sleeting. Just a little cold in the 40's but otherwise fantastic conditions. I found this hotel thru Hotels.com and got a reasonable night rate about $100/night. It was about 1 1/2 hour drive from Washington DC on the way in and thankful for friends who offered to drive me in and out of rural Delaware, instead of relying on Uber/Lyft. Best thing to do is renting a car or have your own personal vehicle. There is Amtrak / Greyhound service here, but not direct to Washington DC or Baltimore. I preferred direct. With that said, I booked a 2 night stay here and it was a typical stay without the bells and whistles you'd find in any upscale hotel brand. Just needed a place to sleep that's within my budget, location perfect, comfortable, and safe. They have a semi large lobby that had comfortable chairs to sit in. The check in process was great and fast, while being friendly. Checking out was good too. Fast and friendly. Same lady was working the desk when I was checking in and checking out, so I asked whether or not there is a shuttle service that runs to Baltimore, MD from here, just to save on the Uber ride, but they said that they didn't. Doesn't hurt to ask. The complimentary breakfast was simple pastry, juice, and eggs and sausage, when I was there. Not sure if they do change it up once in a while. The overall experience here at this Quality Inn hotel and suites in Harrington, Delaware was good and typical at the same time. Quality Inn hotel and suites is the type of hotel that you want that's reliable and comfortable at an affordable price. Although I do regret not using their indoor pool during my stay, the other amenities I did use, including their computer in the lobby, and their Wifi. For the most part though, my stay here was decent while being comfortable at the same time. Everything worked in the room, including the shower and the toilet, along with the television and the Wifi. The bed itself was a king bed and was assigned to a room on the 2nd floor overlooking the balcony. Not sure what room number it was, but it was the corner room before the balcony on the left. Everything about this stay was excellent, but as mentioned before, it seemed typical to me, especially without the bells and whistles. Almost like being at home, but not really. The room itself was clean and had a microwave and a mini fridge. Didn't use them because I didn't have any leftovers to heat up or store during my stay. Still, it was typical and a hotel you'd want to be in since the price point is good for what you'd want in a hotel in the boondocks of Delaware. If you happen to be in rural Delaware or just passing thru, and need a place to crash, consider the Quality Inn & suites here in Harrington Delaware. This Quality Inn & Suites is located at 128 Corn Cribb Road in Harrington, Delaware. Literally across the street is the casino, which is interesting. Like many hotel chains out there, they accept major credit cards. I'm sure majority of bookings occur online. As far as parking goes, the hotel boasts a large and generous parking lot for anyone and everyone who stays here. It's not a large hotel by any means, but a good enough hotel that supports the budget friendly traveler and those who travel for work or pleasure. Best thing to do is get a rental car or travel with a friend who does. Worst thing you can do is to drive up an Uber bill if you don't have any other options. I almost came to that point but a friend helped me out by driving from Annapolis to Harrington DE to pick me up. Of course, Uber / Lyft is there whenever you need it, which is nice too. It's too bad that Delaware doesn't have a commercial airport anywhere in the state. Closest ones is in Washington DC, Baltimore, and Philadelphia. 4.0 stars for the overall experience. 4.0 stars for the friendly service. 4.5 stars for the room comfort. 4.0 stars for the bed comfort. 3.0 stars for the prices. Support local! B
