My husband has been to a couple of Firefly Music Festivals and was familiar with the scene. It is a multi-genre festival and one of the largest festival in the US. People usually camp out for the 4-day event. During the day, the bands that play are a bit lowkey whereas at night, the band/singers are concert-like and wild but its a great time! The sound bass coming through the speakers for every singer was spectacular. Overall an amazing experience!

The camping lots were on the smaller side but if you happen to match up with some good neighbors, than you're in for a wild weekend! The concert stage wasn't too far walking distance from the camp lots and was very well marked. The shower trailer was FREE and was perfect on those hot summer days, and the porta-pottys were cleaned on the reg. Overall, was a great weekend and I am looking forward to going back next year!

As I was going from Rehoboth Beach to New Castle I was wanting to take RT 9 north off the beaten path. As I was coming to the RT1/9 split I had traffic in front and behind and they seem to be in a hurry, Neil wasn't. So I pulled off the road at this place to let everyone by. As I came in thru the entrance the sign read "Free Museum" I says to myself "FREE" I need to check it out and glad I did... As I walked inside you have a really nice gift shop that you need to explore and support. The volunteers working were the best. Not sure where to start but as you enter the main area it is just loaded with WWII, Korean and Vietnam displays. Ever wonder how those belly and tail gunners worked, there is a display for that. I know I could not have done it. There is even a mock-up control tower to explore and listen to the base tower giving commands. On my visit I was able to see a C130 take off from the tower. If your ever in the area this is a must stop, especially if your a history buff. And at the end, please give these people a donation for a job well done. Peace.

I learned that the Swedes taught Americans how to build log cabins in the 1600's. I learned that rural delaware didn't get electricity until the 1940's. I learned that German POW's in WWII worked on Perdue chicken farms. I even learned that Model T's got modded into Tractors by early 1900's engine hackers. Americans can't remember a time before electricity and it's sad. This museum will show you. It wasn't that long ago! Amazing museum and will return with my kids, my grandkids, and my great grandkids, and maybe even my great-great grandkids if life extension technology gets that far. If the electrical grid collapses and we revert to pre-industrial civilization, I would STILL go back to the museum so I can learn how to plow a field with nothing but a horse. I love you Delaware Agricultural Museum!!!

Some of the farm equipment was interesting, such the apple polisher, and old lawn mower. They had a couple of old fashioned washing machines, too. Inside the museum, there was the oldest log cabin in Delaware, and I could go inside of it. Outside, they had a couple of different buildings that were transferred there from other Delaware locations. To name a few- church, farmhouse, chicken coop, general store, school, and blacksmith shop. I could go into all of them except the church because the museum was fixing it up. These were actual old buildings, and it was very, very interesting to go through them. I like the old general store and the school. If you are visiting Dover for the day, go to the Air Force Museum, have lunch someplace, and go to this museum in the afternoon!

Each time I've attended the Moribund shows (which are kid friendly) I've been impressed with the messages woven within the show. Mr. Moribund gently gives the audience messages of positivity and kindness throughout the evening starting with the Moribunch code. There are personal stories, entertaining skits and performances of a spectrum of amazingly great talent. The Christmas Scareol consisted of all performances but most Moribund shows will include a B grade horror movie from the 60's. All of this is accomplished with contributions from of course the entire Moribund family, the audience and the performers. They have donated - time, art, stories, promotion material, and even raffle prizes (so all of the raffle money goes to charity.) Second Street theater provides the venue and even matches the donations. Everyone comes together to as a community to provide a positive experience and entertainment. Very rare these days. Definitely recommend!!!

I was at the Drydene 400 yesterday at Dover International Speedway with family! I went because…read morealthough my normal experience with NASCAR is watching on tv the start of a race, falling asleep on my favorite chair and waking up in time to watch the finale, I wanted to see what it's like in person at least once in my life. Although exciting, and the overall experience I had was outstanding, a good part of actually watching the race, to me, was somewhat boring. I didn't end up sleeping in the stands but almost did, and I did catch my brother with his eyes closed. There were about three or four cautions during the race not including the stages or competition caution, and they were for cars that went loose into the wall, or a piece of equipment on the track. Nothing special or spectacular but the one car did catch on fire. Thankfully no one was injured or seriously hurt. It was amazing to see the top cars in this particular race who were on point really take command of the track. The first car that got a lap down was on lap 13 according to my brother. Although COVID rules were being advised, and you needed to wear your mask to get into the track, no one was wearing them once in the stands. It was a mix of on or off when walking around, and wearing when in line to get food or use the bathroom. The facility did not sell all seats so there was space and I was glad they did not sell all the seats to do so. They were offering vaccination shots, so that's pretty cool. They were also giving out free masks. All staff were wearing their masks the whole time. The fan zone included food, clothing, a car show, the military, other car and tire company demos and games to play. I won some stress ball tires and low end tire gauges, and also got a free t-shirt. I loved that you were allowed to bring in your own food and drink as long as you followed their requirements. A hell of a lot of people were tailgating, and my brother hooked up into a cornhole game. Everyone was extremely friendly and well behaved in the stands and also outside in the lots and fan zone. I highly recommend bringing ear protection. Again BRING EAR PROTECTION. I took out my earphones for the last five laps, and I was dumbfounded at how loud the race really is with the sound reverberating off the massive aluminum stands. We were in the last (top) row (46) of the Allison stands and had a perfect view of the whole track. I'd also bring sunglasses, hat, and sunscreen. If you have can headphones, bring them. You could also rent scanners which I did not do, but they would have been helpful. $96 each for the tickets, $10 parking, brought our own food, and an awesome day with family. Was almost a little more expensive when my brother lost his Apple AirPod at the top of the stands, but luckily a fan a row down found it before it dropped to the ground. Congrats to Alex Bowman who won, and did it all after taking the lead during an outstanding pit stop jumping two places to get it. He then held it to the end.

Yelled at her when she tried to play a slot machine because she wasn't a member rather than just informing her. There were no postings about it. Then when they were done with their drinks, they pushed their drinks aside and got up to leave and the bartender quickly opened another beer and told him he had to pay for it and argued with him about it. That he needed to play the bottle down if he didn't want another. It was just all around an awful and purely rude experience. Staff and customers need to be completely redone and traded out for fresh and kinder models. Bitterness and rudeness isn't cute y'all.
