First time coming to fun land. It was a great experience! The rides were so fun and exciting. All the operating and ticket booth staff were friendly. Me and my son enjoyed many of the fast rides. I liked that for the sea dragon ride there was a line to be at the ends. The haunted mansion had many jump scares. It was fun and worth the line. I liked how staff had their flag on their name tags. There were also areas where the history of fun land was shared. I would come here again

Funland takes me back to my childhood with the character of this partially-renovated space. This place is nostalgic. There are age-appropriate games and rides for the young and mature, making this the ideal family-friendly fun park. The rides are ticket-operated like many beach town fun parks. I kept some of the tickets as a memento. There are some instant-win prize arcade games to play, which again adds to this place's charm. They also offer popcorn, pretzels, drinks, and ice cream for sale. One thing to note is the ride attendants adhere to and strictly enforce the minimum height requirements for some of its rides, like bumper cars. I witnessed attendants turn away multiple kids who did not meet minimum height requirements despite the kids crying, screaming, and their parents visibly heartbroken that that they had to console their kids. I also observed some parents even question the determination by some ride attendants to deny their child entry to a ride despite the height measurement guideline being conspicuous; which I thought was odd. I understand parents do not want to see their children upset, however it is also true that no parent wants to see their child injured on a carnival ride when it could have been prevented. Overall, a very fun experience and my rule of thumb is if the kids love it, I love it too. I'll visit again when at Rehoboth Beach.

After visiting the last time, I read an article about Funland and the Haunted Mansion. We arrived around 4pm just for this ride, and found out it opens at 5. I thought we should line up already but walked around first. When we returned, a full line already so we joined. 6 tickets =$3 only. Looked like a small ride area but inside, we were weaving in the dark, through many rooms with many things to see. Worth it. Only complaint is I thought there were areas with water splashing on the riders but found out later that I had oily drips on my shirt, legs and my bag. I think it was coming from above us where the seat is hanging from. I wish I knew about Funland when my kids were smaller bec for $1 each, there were so many kiddie rides they would have enjoyed.

Funland is a small amusement park located on the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk in Delaware. It was first opened in 1939 as the Rehoboth Beach Sports Center, and was later purchased by the Faschnacht family in 1962. Funland has a variety of rides and attractions for all ages, including the Ferris wheel, bumper cars, Tilt-A-Whirl, and the Scrambler. There are also rides for toddlers and preschoolers. There is also an arcade with a variety of games. We were here last year although I did not author a review at that time. We visited here for the second time. I was here with my family of seven including two toddlers and one preschooler. I purchased 50 tickets for $30. The toddlers rode the cars, fire trucks, boats and the helicopters, which can rise up from the ground. The preschooler rode the faster teacups and played with some amusements. Overall they were all happy with their experiences. Next time I will purchase 100 tickets for $48, since the tickets do not expire. We can use them on our next visit, since we will return here for more fun.

    Tickets are reasonably priced here!

A wonderful place for little kids to go crazy on rides! And the prices are not as steep as other shore towns! Everything from bumper cars to kiddie swings, jungle gym, boat rides, car rides! There are also carnival games near the front (classic where you can win prizes. Don't try the frog toss - it's nearly impossible as is the ball to cup toss) and an arcade on the side for older kids! The Jurassic park game is my daughter's favorite...ok I'm lying it's my favorite. Either way, remember to shoot the targets, not the dinosaurs!

This place has nostalgic fun! Smiles everywhere! Make sure you hit the Haunted Mansion while you're there. It's absolutely adorable.

Don't trust the hours. They are prone to change them on a whim. Bad business practice, very unfortunate.

Amazing and affordable, family friendly (for everyone's family). It has been there for 64 years and is still a lot of fun for all ages.

    Ask the Community - Funland

Would there be a lot of activities or rides a one year old can do?

My 1.5 year old niece had a blast here last weekend. She couldn't do most things, but she enjoyed the merry go round and the fire trucks (a lot!!!) as well as going on the helicopters with her mom. I think it depends on your child.

My husband's favorite from his childhood is the Haunted Mansion, which is a fun "track" ride through a haunted house.

**NOTE: visited the first week of June 2025. This review was copied from my Google account**…read more Staff was relatively friendly and accessing everything was pretty seamless. Of course it's pricy given where its at on the boardwalk, but there was still fun to be had! Although both are basically separate entities from the park, I HIGHLY recommend the ferris wheel and the haunted house attractions. Both provided great fun for my group and the view on the ferris wheel is truly breathtaking day or night. There was also a really friendly operator on one of the rides (I think it was the car one right next to the ferris wheel), but I cannot for the life of me remember their name.

Gotta be honest here, went with the little ones (3-6 years old) and we weren't impressed at all…read more You pay $40 per band and they are non transferable so 3 people immediately turns into $120. It does not cover the roller coaster or the kiosk games like the water gun race (which is $10 per player for a single 30 second round....even the worker agreed it's a rip off). The rides themselves were okay, they have a whole little section for kiddie rides and then a larger outdoors section with bigger rides that cover most ages up to adults. But, within 1.5 hour we already went on most of the rides we wanted to go on. And still had 1.5 hours to go as the band is for 3 hours. So paying $160 for an hour and a half wasn't really worth it in my opinion. Maybe for a larger group or something but for us, not really worth it. I wouldn't say it's bad. The rides were not bad in any way. They have a decent variety, but it's just the usual board walk type rides. Not for us

BEST part : LOTS OF TREES for SHADE !!…read more Well worth the money ($43 includes taxes and fees, online purchase). The park is clean, very well maintained with beautiful landscaping. Staff are very nice and friendly. There are lots of trees providing shade so it has a magical garden vibe. You don't get the sense of it being an overly commercialized amusement park at all. All the rides are geared towards younger kids like 2-8 yrs old. It is not crowded on weekday and there were no lines for rides. I would gladly pay for these types of parks over spending hours in line at crowded Disney parks any day. It's small and compact so it's an easy walk for kiddos and grandparents, yet large enough that there are enough rides and attractions to spend a whole day. Outside food and drinks are allowed, plenty of covered seating areas. I was surprised to see peacocks, pheasants(in aviary) and rabbits (in the straw 3 Little Pigs house). Bathrooms are clean. There is a splash pad area, bring water play clothes for the kids if you want. Food is reasonably priced. Keep up the great work ! Love this spot PS: Some minor things that could make the experience better : Some of the dolls, statues and animatronics are creepy looking. Lol. I hope they consider repainting the expressions or replacing : Mother Goose's eyes Goldilocks Snow White 100 dolls at the gift shop looks haunted lol Little Red Riding Hood
