Funland takes me back to my childhood with the character of this partially-renovated space. This place is nostalgic. There are age-appropriate games and rides for the young and mature, making this the ideal family-friendly fun park. The rides are ticket-operated like many beach town fun parks. I kept some of the tickets as a memento. There are some instant-win prize arcade games to play, which again adds to this place's charm. They also offer popcorn, pretzels, drinks, and ice cream for sale. One thing to note is the ride attendants adhere to and strictly enforce the minimum height requirements for some of its rides, like bumper cars. I witnessed attendants turn away multiple kids who did not meet minimum height requirements despite the kids crying, screaming, and their parents visibly heartbroken that that they had to console their kids. I also observed some parents even question the determination by some ride attendants to deny their child entry to a ride despite the height measurement guideline being conspicuous; which I thought was odd. I understand parents do not want to see their children upset, however it is also true that no parent wants to see their child injured on a carnival ride when it could have been prevented. Overall, a very fun experience and my rule of thumb is if the kids love it, I love it too. I'll visit again when at Rehoboth Beach.

The management and crew were very helpful. Friendly and informative By The Way. The rides were very good and extremely safe By The Way.

After visiting the last time, I read an article about Funland and the Haunted Mansion. We arrived around 4pm just for this ride, and found out it opens at 5. I thought we should line up already but walked around first. When we returned, a full line already so we joined. 6 tickets =$3 only. Looked like a small ride area but inside, we were weaving in the dark, through many rooms with many things to see. Worth it. Only complaint is I thought there were areas with water splashing on the riders but found out later that I had oily drips on my shirt, legs and my bag. I think it was coming from above us where the seat is hanging from. I wish I knew about Funland when my kids were smaller bec for $1 each, there were so many kiddie rides they would have enjoyed.

Funland is a small amusement park located on the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk in Delaware. It was first opened in 1939 as the Rehoboth Beach Sports Center, and was later purchased by the Faschnacht family in 1962. Funland has a variety of rides and attractions for all ages, including the Ferris wheel, bumper cars, Tilt-A-Whirl, and the Scrambler. There are also rides for toddlers and preschoolers. There is also an arcade with a variety of games. We were here last year although I did not author a review at that time. We visited here for the second time. I was here with my family of seven including two toddlers and one preschooler. I purchased 50 tickets for $30. The toddlers rode the cars, fire trucks, boats and the helicopters, which can rise up from the ground. The preschooler rode the faster teacups and played with some amusements. Overall they were all happy with their experiences. Next time I will purchase 100 tickets for $48, since the tickets do not expire. We can use them on our next visit, since we will return here for more fun.

    Tickets are reasonably priced here!

A wonderful place for little kids to go crazy on rides! And the prices are not as steep as other shore towns! Everything from bumper cars to kiddie swings, jungle gym, boat rides, car rides! There are also carnival games near the front (classic where you can win prizes. Don't try the frog toss - it's nearly impossible as is the ball to cup toss) and an arcade on the side for older kids! The Jurassic park game is my daughter's favorite...ok I'm lying it's my favorite. Either way, remember to shoot the targets, not the dinosaurs!

This place has nostalgic fun! Smiles everywhere! Make sure you hit the Haunted Mansion while you're there. It's absolutely adorable.

My 2.5 year old loved Funland so much! This place is great for younger kids as well as big kids. Migle on the airplanes had such wonderful energy and contagious smile. My son was so excited to give her his ticket. Pricing wasn't terrible! Can't wait to return.

I can't remember the name of this ride but they were upside down and spinning

This was our first ever trip to Rehoboth and I wanted to find something fun for the kids on our first night. Not sure if it's because it was a Thursday afternoon (4:30), but we easily found metered parking less than a block from the entrance. We were able to spend a little time at the beach first and then put all of our stuff back into the car, use the restrooms (no porta potties yayyy!) that were right there and then hit the main attraction. I bought the 100 tickets for $48 deal so that all 3 of us could do some rides. Majority of them are for smaller kids, but even most of those can have an adult join (my daughter begged me to get into the helicopter Ferris wheel and it was a little snug (my head hit the ceiling) but we still fit. The thrill rides were perfect for my oldest, she did the pirate ship and this crazy upside down ride more than once. We all did the Haunted Mansion together. I loved the fact that the maximum amount of tickets needed for a ride was only 6 and the carousel was only 2. In addition to the rides, we played a few games and won some cute stuffed animals. I love that they have games where you play until you win a prize, so kids will never go home disappointed and empty handed. The maximum amount for a game we paid was $2. Skee-ball was only 50 cents a game! The crowd was very light when we got to Funland (around 5:15) but by 7:45 it was pretty busy. My kids still never waited very long for any rides at that time and I even had to extend my parking by an extra hour after we decided to walk the boardwalk. This was a great day and I see why Funland is highly rated on TripAdvisor.

Many rides, which we didn't go on. But so many fun activities for reasonable price. With $20, we won so many cutie plushies Such a fun place to hang after chilling at the beach

Don't trust the hours. They are prone to change them on a whim. Bad business practice, very unfortunate.

    Ask the Community - Funland

Would there be a lot of activities or rides a one year old can do?

My 1.5 year old niece had a blast here last weekend. She couldn't do most things, but she enjoyed the merry go round and the fire trucks (a lot!!!) as well as going on the helicopters with her mom. I think it depends on your child.

My husband's favorite from his childhood is the Haunted Mansion, which is a fun "track" ride through a haunted house.

We arrived at 10:20 am (they opened at 10) and went right up to buy the full day pass. This allowed us all day access to the water park, and 4 ride tickets and mini golf. The go karts had zero wait times and the boys working were all helpful and nice. We did 2 rides and then went to the water park. TONS of available tables all with umbrellas. The mountain slides were a lot of fun as were the regular water slides. Lazy River was a hit and when I just wanted to cool off alone, I went into the pool because it wasn't busy. The nice thing about the water park is you can come and go with the wrist band. We stayed for about 2 hours and left to eat lunch at another place, then drove back and finished our final go kart rides, did mini golf and spent another 2 hours at the water park. A lot of parking options. The bathroom stalls are a little difficult to get in and out of because the doors swing in almost hitting the toilet. My kids and I had a great time! All of the lifeguards were great, to be honest the only somewhat unfriendly person was the older lady working the ticket booth upon arrival.

It seems a bit cleaner, and less threatening, though I'd still say some of the patrons are rough around the edges... all in all, there was much more of a family-friendly feel at the Piers than I remember as a kid. Back then, we'd drive from Stone Harbor to OC or Wildwood boardwalks for what I remember as tons of fun. But I grew up, and I'm no longer into rides, cotton candy, money-sucking games, etc. so I'd never visit an amusement park/carnival/boardwalk for myself, but I'll do it for a friend, or my kid. I mention that because this review will be from a mom perspective, as someone there to watch others enjoy, not really a connoisseur of amusements myself. I felt safe on the piers, and like people were out and about to enjoy themselves. People were actively going on rides, or preparing to do so. No one was loitering or trying to cause trouble (as sometimes happened back in the day). I passed a few smartallecks on the boardwalk, screwing the pedestrian flow by making people walk around them, or trying to be looked at, but no one was interested in their foolishness. Didn't seem like many people were under the influence of anything, and I was there past 10pm. Like I said, it really felt like a family ambiance, and I was pleasantly surprised. I got a tip last year from a mom on the beach that Morey's has a 40% off sale in (she said) October. But other reviews say it's December. So I looked last October and saw no sale, and my guess is it changes every year. Advice: sign up for their emails, or check their website between Oct and Dec. The 40% off is really helpful if you visit more than once, and/or have a number of people in your party, and/or like to go on lots of rides. So I missed the sale and had to buy a-la-carte full price, there on the boardwalk. Of course they do a system where it's X number of tickets per ride, designed to confuse drunk and stupid people. Annoying to say the least. Kiddie rides are 3-5 tickets each = $4.50 to $7.50 per person per ride (+ tax). Adult rides were 6-10 tickets each = $9 to $15 pp per ride (+ tax). So you'll wanna do the math for all the peeps in your party, and how many times you want to go, and how much you need for your ride fix. Or don't, and just get drunk and spend hundreds. Whatever. To put it into perspective, Disney passes are $109/pp/day, and you can easily match that here if you don't pay attention. While I definitely want my kid to have fun, there are much bigger priorities in my budget for him, so savings on this kind of entertainment are really worth it, and I will be seeking that sale later this year. For my recent visit, my toddler was able to get 2 rides with parent, and 2 kids only rides, and that was a ball for a first visit. But I know the BEGGING I used to do, so I am just waiting for that next year, lol. We didn't do any games, that is a hard no for me. I lack skills to win anything for my kid, and the prizes don't seem worth the money anyway. I realize there is a thrill in "winning" something, or having it won for you, but eh, it's just not for me. The novelty food, too, just isn't worth it. As a kid we only ever did rides because games and food were never even on my radar. It's also later in the evening/night and not really healthy to eat so late, especially for kids, so again, just not my thing. What else? Oh, parking. We parked on the street with the Wildwood app. It was like $2.50/hour. We ended up needing 2 hours, and were able to pay for just one, and get an alert when our time was running out, so we could just pay from the app, while still enjoying the boardwalk. Very simple. Our car was all safe about a block from the boardwalk, in a well lit spot. I felt safe getting back into the car with a toddler even when dark out, past 10pm. Their toll free number is really unpleasant. It's insultingly cheesy "congratulations you dialed our number, good for you" and designed to be as verbose and circuitous as possible to keep you listening to this nonsense for minutes before a menu comes up. All considered, I recommend Morey's, but advise getting tickets or passes during that 40% off sale! Enjoy, and (nose-pinched voice) "Please watch the tram car!"

It cost $104.97 for three PreSeason discount tickets. We drove almost two hours from Newark to Egg Harbor Township because we heard great things about this place. It's known for having a fairytale-themed park with lots of creative statues and interactive sets that represent popular fables like "Mother Goose" and "Goldilocks and The Three Bears." The location is smaller than most parks I've been to, which is good for little kids who want to run to every ride. In a span of two hours, my family and I got on everything minus a couple attractions. There is ample parking for cars, and the entrance is bold with its large sign and white and red castle. The park played Disney music, which was soo cute! I remember hearing soundtracks from Mulan, Cinderella, and The Little Mermaid. None of the rides felt too scary for kids, even the roller coasters weren't extreme. There's also rides where kids can feel like they're driving a car, and a train that shows you the entire park. My favorite ride was "Bubbles the Coaster" and "The Rockin' Tug." The only issue with this park are the food selections. The lunch that my family had here wasn't good- at least from the cafe right next to the exit/gift shop; everything from the cheeseburger, french fries, and cookies tasted stale and more on the cold side than the hot side. I wouldn't recommend ordering food here, but everything else was great. I don't think I'll visit again only because it's so far from where I live, but this was a good one-time experience that I was able to have with my family. If you're in the area, I would encourage you to stop by and feel like you're in a magical world!
