Awesome store and staff! Always very clean, well organized and well stock. Produce is fresh and also well stocked.

I have been trying to convince myself to like this store. It presents well with cleanliness, well stocked shelves and the produce is fresh BUT I can not get past the poor customer service. The staff are the most unfriendly and non helpful that I have ever seen . An example would be the male cashier who apparently did not like the fact that we brought our own bags. He kept shoving the groceries onto our bags . My husband was trying to pack the bags because the cashier obviously was not going to participate. There was no eye contact or comments from the cashier. I wish I could say this was rare behavior for the staff but unfortunately it is not. read more

The Harris Teeter on Spartanburg Highway has reopened! I've been checking on it since November of 2024 and glad it could reopen after Hurricane Helene's devastation in September of 2024. The parking lot doesn't seem large enough for the store. This is a larger Harris Teeter and has everything you might be looking for. This store had more brands and variety than the Harris Teeter I frequent. The store ready made food and a large produce section, bakery, meat department and deli. A pharmacy is in the front part of the store too. read more

Great grocery store in Hendersonville. Always great deals and great selection of fresh foods.

The store manager, Natalie, is extremely rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Serious attitude problem.

I really like Harris Teeter but recently I was kind of disappointed. They had the boneless breast chicken for sale at $1.99 lb. which is great,! I like to repackage my meats with a seal a meal so I can stock my freezer. When I got home and started repackaging there was a lot of bone and blood in them. Not sure what happened with the deboning process, but I was having to cut bone and the bloody parts out. Kind of made me sick being I am not a butcher. Maybe need to rethink they're butcher. Even though this happened, I will still go back. read more

Before moving to North Carolina,I have never heard of Harris Teeter. I thought it was a clothing store the first time I seen the name. Stopped here one day after a Dr. Appointment I had. I have to say my first impression was WOW! A grocery store that is well organized, clean and just plain nice! It's the rolls-royce of grocery stores! They carry Everything!! I mean everything!!! Did I say EVERYTHING???? SERIOUSLY! They carry not just one or two brands of a item but a bunch of choices, some I've never seen before! Come to find out, they are part of the Kroger family, Smiths that we use to go to in Nevada is a Kroger but nothing like this store! They always seem to have great sales, buy one get one seems like everywhere you look. First time hit it with wine being on sale! They have a pharmacy, they are very nice there, we had a script filled that insurance does not cover and they take the Good Rx app which can save you alot of money. Isles are big and roomy, everything is just a pleasure to look at. I could just go walk around looking at what they have. They have a clearance area and I did find some good items that were marked down 50% off. Over all I would make the trip just to get groceries here, or make it a point to stop after a Dr. Appt. Oh make sure you join their grocery club called ViC don't know why that name. I thought the girl asked if I had wic lol Of course you get a card to put on your keychain. You can earn points towards gas as well. Stop here if you are close by you will not regret it! read more

This Harris Teeter is affordable and clean. I shop here frequently and their prices are competitive (even better than Walmart). The food selection is good. I just wish they had more locally grown produce since we are very close to farm country. Given that this location is within 5 minutes driving distance of Publix, Fresh Market, and Ingles, I'd say they're the most competitive. My only wish is that they'd provide a wider selection of specialty foods (ie. gluten free, dairy free). read more

I tried their double dipped Fried Chicken, second time. Very disappointed, not alot of flavor, breasts were tough. Both times, grabbed some Original Potato Salad.. That went straight to the trash. As an upscale grocer I am surprised that there are not Hot Sides. The choice was Potato Salad, Macaroni Salad, Chicken Salad. I'll have to do Publix next time.. read more

Great store! Produce is fresh and well stocked. Meat dept is very good and accommodating. With a VIC card the prices are very good. The reason I am writing this review is service. My wife went to HT today and bought a few things and in the process of checking out am item did not make it into the bag that was part of tonight's dinner. She called the store it was in customer service. The manager came on the line and said "not to worry" he drive the item at once. We don't just live around the corner! Twenty minutes later he was knocking on the door. Wow! Great job, great service... you have our business! read more

Harris Teeter is a great place to shop. They've got a great selection of meat, seafood, produce, dairy and other grocery items. You can't beat the prices on their seafood specials. Also, they have really good perks for being a Vic member, subscribing to wine and daily catch. I went grocery shopping here a few weeks ago and saved $90!! Plus the gas rewards here are more than Ingles. The only negative I have is that there are only 4 self checkouts and usually maybe two cashiers. The lines are long once they get to three people because of the design of the store. Otherwise, I'm happy to be a HT customer. read more

This grocery store seems to be hoarding all of the friendliness that exists in the array of grocery stores in Hendersonville! Seriously, I think we went to them all on our first vacation day here. The prices, especially the VIC deals, are very reasonable and their produce section is incredible!! The staff members here are great and very helpful. read more

Have been to this Harris Teeter a few times and I have found the checkers and baggers to be extremely unhelpful. I asked for help with bagging as I had to a large cart of grocery's. The checker barely answered me and a bagger never came to help. I had to go in search of another grocery cart to put the bags of groceries in that I was bagging so there would be room to continue. The clerk helped me minimally and started checking the next customer before I was finished bagging. I then unload all the groceries into the car and I see a store employee pushing 3-4 carts back to the store. I ask politely if they want my cart and receive the response, "Sorry ma'am, I can not take your cart." Really???!!! But, you can take the 3-4 from the area where the carts are left???? Insane. I will never again shop at this store! This is not the first time I have received such unhelpful (non existent) service at this store. read more

BEST meat department in Henderson County!!! The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. I've been seeing some of these young men for years in that department and am so happy to see HT retains good employees. I refuse to buy meat anywhere else, it's the best! We moved here three years ago and have been looking for good pizza. Sadly we've been looking at pizza joints. The pizza we had today, par cooked, from Harris was the best pizza we've had. I'm not looking elsewhere. Great crust. Lots of mozz. Finally, yeah pizza! read more

This is a pretty decent Harris Teeter. Get a VIC card and shop the sales and you'll find yourself spending way, way less than you will at Ingles. Great meat department, pretty nice produce. Friendly staff. This is where I do most of my grocery shopping. read more

Haven't been to a HT since I was in college. This location was ok but not super exciting. I was also not happy that I couldn't buy some replacement beer while I was there. It was before noon on a Sunday, what? That must be a new one, never heard of it. read more

Awesome salad bar. Maybe not as great as whole foods but much more affordable. They always have kale and spinach, which makes this leaf muncher very happy! A decent selection of organics and it's always clean and friendly. I always do self check out and only have had to wait in line on rare occasion. read more

Most other Harris Teeter's are open 24 hours. Very disappointed that this one is not. Sad.

This store is the one in town where I can find most things I need, and they are helpful in locating shelved items. I'm especially grateful that they carry at least SOME preservative and MSG free refrigerated products, such as Jimmy Dean All Natural Regular Pork Sausage rolls, and at least one brand of hotdogs. Hooray for Harris Teeter! However, I'm very disappointed that they DON'T carry Herb Ox brand MSG-free Instant Bouillon powder (the jars) - that is the only brand I can use. I have to go from store to store looking for the groceries I can use - and I'm not alone. There are MANY people like me who cannot tolerate these 3 additives: nitrates, nitrites, and MSG, because they cause severe migraine headaches and dizziness. read more
